Peter MThis review is to correct a prior review I submitted, which unfortunately was (accidentally) directed toward Champion Storage. When this was brought to my attention, I wanted to change it right away. I have always had a great relationship and experience with Champion Storage and David has ALWAYS been very helpful, above and beyond. I will always do business with Champion Storage. My poor review from prior was intended for the drop-off location in Murphy NC (Sneed’s Garage) who inappropriately charged us a cleaning fee while the truck we dropped off was left in good condition with extra gas.

David sI would say just to let people know to fill out the return survey before actually returning the keys. This was my first time renting a truck and I didn't realize until it was too late that I would need to get back in the truck and take verification pictures to return it through the website. But I'd already put the keys in the box and gotten back in my car. Thanks.

Katonya OThe gas gauge didn't match the paper work. The guy at the location said it would be fixed, but clearly, the location it was returned to said otherwise and showed I didn't return it with enough gas.

richard oAgain, this is a storage facility business and U-Haul is NOT their primary concern. The guy who staffed the office was not friendly or forthcoming about our return, i.e. he hardly said a word to us and certainly didn't provide any info about whether the trailer we returned was in good condition, leaving me to wonder if we'd get billed for any dings/scratches at a later time. Then as he walked away from us he said 'You'll get a receipt in your email very soon", which we did. I'd prefer to use a full-service U-Haul location with staff who care about the business.
Donna H1 & 2nd drop-off sites were unavailable. I got the “voicemail runaround” trying to find a place droop off. 2 site put me on infinite hold. The third site was perfect. Friendly, knowledgeable person.
NICKI MIt appeared to be clean but we smelled something strange and found a small bag of weed. Could have been not so good if pulled over. Also, charged more and not sure why yet. Location and manager are excellent and definitely will be back.

EDWARD BThe service was very adequate, however the on-line return leaves a great deal lacking. There are significant connectivity issues and the process is too time consuming (provided you are able to connect) and needs to be streamlined - and I am speaking from multiple experiences.

James EI asked why there was a discrepancy in the price quoted on the phone and the attendants quote and was told to get in touch with U-Haul (guess number I had originally called. I am out $25 bucks from on phone quote and what I paid. No biggy but I think you reserve, that quote should be the same as when you pick it up.

Donald CU-Haul really needs to improve their app. I picked up my rental before the business opened and it took 3 tries with the app on my smart phone before it worked. When I returned the rental, after hours, the app would not work at all, even after 4 tries.

ERNEST KAt both ends of the haul the attendants were courteous and helpful. The trailer towed well and was about the right size for me. For nearly 4 hours during the trip I experienced heavy rain and some water got inside. It was no big thing though.
