I had reserved a dolly along with the U-Haul, but when I went to pick up the truck, they told me the dolly wasn't available. This caused a lot of inconvenience during the move.
Farid AThe car they gave was not well maintained. As we started to drive on the highway and the rain started i turned on the wipers only to have the driver wiper blade detach from the wiper. This was not only an issue with maintenance but also a safety issue. We had to pull over in the rain. luckily we had some tape in the van so we could tie the blade to the wiper blade. Needless to say we were completely soaked by the rain. Not ideal as it would only clear half of the driver side. What was more shocking is that when i returned the truck to the location and told them about it there was absolutely no reaction, comment or an apology.

DEVESH TPoor service and support. Dirty and left on fumes. I had to walk across an ice path in the rain to the vehicle. Not out front brood to park off site bi do not recommend it.
RYAN MThe vehicle doesn’t look like it’s been moved since the snow started a week ago. There was no pre trip inspection. I had to remove a foot and a half of snow from the hood and windshield. Let alone the foot and a half of snow in front of and surrounding the vehicle. I’ve rented several vehicles from U-Haul over the years, and the dolly in vehicle wasn’t there. They had no furniture pads in store. Just wouldn’t use this location again.

DEANNA KHello, I booked a truck with a furniture dolly, but when I arrived, the employee told me they didn’t have a furniture dolly available. Customer service should have informed me beforehand so that I could have picked it up from a different location. I had a painful move without the dolly, as I was counting on it. Additionally, I had to wait for about 20 minutes past my truck reservation time and elevator reservation because the person who was supposed to give me the key was on the phone discussing cabinet design. Finally, I noticed that I was charged for SafeMove coverage, which I did not apply for. Thanks

DEEP PI got a car and asked if I should fill the gas. The attendant said no, but when I returned the car, he charged me 35 dollars for gas. He was rude and unfriendly. I will never return to this location and I plan to leave a negative review on Google Maps. Additionally, the back of the truck smells like garbage. I suspect they transport trash in this vehicle. I am unsatisfied with this location and I feel sorry for U-Haul that cannot manage its locations properly.
DORRIN RMirrors were not in good angle & we couldn’t change it. Instructions to release were unclear. Wrong mirror direction/angle remained a hazard throughout our journey.

Matt RThe experience was quite disappointing. The service provider made me wait a long time, and when I finally got to see the truck, it was dirty and not in a usable condition. I requested an exchange, but he refused. Instead, he offered to clean it, which took at least 30 minutes out of the time I had booked. The entire situation was very upsetting.
DANIEL LOn June 28 2024, I had a reservation for a 10-foot moving truck scheduled for pickup at 11:00 am. The male representative checked me in and provided me with the truck. Before leaving, I inquired if he could assist with the return process later, as I have experienced issues with the return process on the app in the past. His response was, "Well if I'm not busy, I will be able to return it." Despite this vague and unclear assurance, I proceeded with my rental. Upon returning the truck, I encountered significant issues with the same representative. The store was empty, yet he displayed a dismissive and hostile attitude, stating that he was busy having lunch and I needed to wait. This was despite my immediate need for assistance and the store being empty except for us. Furthermore, I discovered that my rental contract had been sent to the wrong email address. When I requested a printed copy, he blamed me for the error and then claimed his system was not working. When I insisted on resolving the issue, he abruptly told me to leave and threatened to call the police. To protect myself from any false accusations, I began recording our interaction. Once he realized I was recording, he did call the police, who informed him that there was no reason for my removal as I was neither violent nor causing a disturbance. After hanging up with the police, he asked to make a "deal" with me, stating he would check in my truck if I deleted the video. Desperate to leave the situation, I complied and he finally checked in the truck. This entire ordeal was highly distressing and completely unnecessary. The behavior of this representative was unprofessional, disrespectful, and unacceptable. No customer should be treated in such a manner. I strongly urge U-Haul to investigate this incident thoroughly and take appropriate action, including considering the removal of this dealer's authority to represent U-Haul. Customers deserve to be treated with respect and provided with competent service. This experience has severely damaged my trust in U-Haul’s commitment to customer satisfaction.
