We returned our truck the day before it was due and the return location charged my debit card an additional day's rental so I had to call to get the money back. If I had not been aware of my account activity this would have gone unnoticed and I would be out an addition $59.00.CHRISTOPHER C.
Uhaul completely screwed us over on this. We were never notified that our pick up address had changed. We looked online luckily the night before our pickup only to find out that our location had changed to 45 minutes from our home. We called and asked why this happened and let them know we were never called or emailed to be notified. They said there was nothing they could do about it. The bed of the truck was absolutely filthy and smelled as if it was previously used for animal transport. The gas tank was already half empty. So in addition to having to drive 45 minutes out of our way, we had to immediately get gas and clean the bed which made us an hour late. We were 3 miles outside of our contracted mileage range and they had the nerve to charge us a penalty. We were out of range because 45 miles were the round trip to this terrible location. Had car troubles on the way here and called a couple days before to let the location know we wouldn't be there by the scheduled date and he told us we need to be there because he had someone coming to get it. That would have required us to drive an extra 14 hours in one day to make it so we did not do that. He was unprofessional when I arrived telling me I caused problems for him because he had to find another trailer for someone to rent.TANNER G.

Renting location guy was smoking in the vehicle as he pulled it forward. We also had to wait about 20 minutes as no one was a the location when we went to do our pickup.THOMAS L.

This hitch on the trailer seemed to not completely operate properly when tightening to the ball. No assistance was offered to help secure the trailer to my truck. The utility dolly that I reserved was not available at pick up which was a huge necessity regarding my move. I was not notified of this lack of availability prior to my arrival and it was too late to make other arrangements at another location. Thumbs down there!Kevin W.

There were bars on the doors, did not let me in. Cigarette smoke was coming out the door. Man at door said to park the trailer and the lady would close it out. I said I wanted paperwork showing I dropped it off. So I waited and they gave me paperwork. The man said back the trailer in and drop it. He never showed up to help me, mind you I am. Female turning 60 in February. Worst experience ever. How hard would it have been for him to come out there and unhook the trailer. Let alone verify it wasn't wrecked or cleaned. Poor service.LORI H.
Couldn't go in office to sign paperwork. Told me which trailer to go hook up to. Bring up by office so he could take a picture hooked up. He walked out saw I had expired took photo on cell phone. Communication was great except no one informed us that cash is no longer a form of pymt here! I called here to make our reservation in advance since the website wasn't properly working and spoke to the nice man and confirmed that cash for the actual pymt was okay and everything was set! The person that we were helping to move was going to meet us there and pay for this truck so cash was all they had! They did, however, upgrade our truck from a 10' to a 15' ahead of time because the other truck wouldn't be available, which we thought was really nice of them for looking out for us! The dispatcher at this location was also super nice until we actually arrived. She was very short in tone and obviously annoyed with us like we were inconveniencing her for not knowing that cash was not accepted here! No help at all from anyone here so we were screwed and had to come up with a different form of payment on the spot! Oh and they keep the front door closed due to COVID-19 so you are forced to literally communicate through a door while standing outside on steps with noise from the traffic on the main road about 50' behind you! They were standing outside talking to each other when we all pulled up and then scurried back inside the tiny â€œofficeâ€ when we were getting out of our vehicles. We had our masks on us and I totally get this Covid-19 thing but really? We had to then call the main number and attempt to get our truck from right outside with all the traffic noise which quickly became a nightmare! Then we stood out front in the way of traffic coming in & out of this location, because there is no where to park here, with our vehicles for at least 45 minutes waiting on the man to come back out to take us to the truck about 100' away inside the gate. Needless to say it was a completely different experience upon arrival here than what we had received beforehand and expected! We chose this location because of the great ratings and the other locations had shady reviews. So aside from the long wait for someone to come out of this box office to take us to the truck, my Husband had to stay on the phone with this lady from right outside, for another 45 minutes to complete everything! Oh and we also had our 3 small children with us so yeah never again!Jennifer D.

I was forced to unhook the heavy trailer and park it because the site was not helping customers due to Covid-19. The parking lot has an incline and were it not for the fence it would have rolled over an embankment. I'm glad we were not injured because this is a huge liability. They need some type of cement barrier behind their vehicles and trailers. This place should only take back trucks if customers are left to their own devices at this place. Will not return anything here ever again! Horrible experience and I have the bruised knees to prove it.??Shimeka W.

It is a cab company/UHaul facility and the office area is kind of dumpy. The young lady who worked there was extremely nice and knowledgeable about their equipment and rental process. She did take a picture of it after I had hooked it up and drove it back by the office. I requested some shipping blankets, but they had none and I called 4 other dealers in the Milledgeville area and no one had any available.Brent G.
