The Lady running the place with her husband was so sweet. The truck we rented came with a badly stuck door in the back to open the truck up and the inside of the car smelled like piss on the seats. It took an extra day for them to fix it and we left a day late but they did fix it and were very very kind and sweet!

satina pIf there is a way to notate to the customer that the location doesn’t do self-pickup, or an email follow up noting the vendor will meet the customer there, that would be helpful. This isn’t the first time I’ve had Uhaul system errors with self guided pickup at a Uhaul location, so consider a way to give notes about a location to the customer. We had a self guided pickup scheduled for 8am this time but the app told us we had to call Uhaul rather than start. Uhaul then told us we had to wait until 9am when the location opened. The vendor told us when we came back at 9am that she had gotten there early outside of her normal hours and had been waiting for us to help us check in. The confusion from the Uhaul system just extended the whole thing, when an automated email with notes about the location would have cleared it all up before the problem even happened. She was very kind about it, but the confusion wasted her time and ours. This location is excellent; the owner is the sweetest most lovely woman who does everything she can for her customer to have a good experience, so the pickup fluke regarding the Uhaul system itself was the only issue, and probably gives her numerous problems.
