Tail light didn't work, or maybe stopped working during the trip. Directed to U-Haul service center where numerous paperwork mistakes were found. Still not sure whether tow dolly was appropriate for my vehicle. Fortunately, service center replaced the tow dolly with an auto transport at no extra charge.

Very convenient location. Very friendly atmosphere. The owner came right out to help me when I was Returning the trailer. She Made sure her associate came right out to unhook the trailer from my jeep And he was very nice as well.. I was Concerned because I was running a little bit late to return the trailer but the owner said not to worry about it which Made me feel less stressed. I’ve rented from other u haul companies but I will definitely come back to this Grove Street location!!! Thank you!

Checker Sales was closed on Sunday and I could not get location service, so I could not check in by phone. It was unclear where I should leave the truck, as all the other vehicles were in an employee only lot. A taxi driver employee happened by, parked the truck in the lot, and advised I would be checked out by email the following day. After getting a text on Monday from Uhaul stating that I hadn't checked in yet, I called Checker Sales and they checked me in and then sent me an email within minutes. Very good customer service.

Firstly, the young blonde woman who helped me was wonderful. Very nice and efficient. This place, however, was disgusting. Moldy ceiling, pet hair and grease on every surface sliding door that didn't function. WORST of all: the racist signs and posters all over the place. The most offensive reading: "If we had known things were going to turn out like this...We would have picked our own DAMN cotton". The sign included a confederate flag and was hung proudly right above the register. I have photos, if you care for them.

Had to wait 20 minutes for attendant. He had gone across the street to run an errand. The office was filthy dirty. Once the truck was loaded and we got on the highway, the truck's stabilization system service light came on and the drivability of the truck changed. We stopped at a local garage and a mechanic informed us that the system was able to be turned on and off. We reset it to turn it back on, but it kept going off. This added 2 hours to our trip because we kept stopping to reset the stabilization system.

The building looked like it was ready to fall down. There was racist sayings on signs in the lobby. I got there and they told me they didnt have the size truck I'd reserved (20'), so I'd have to go with a different size truck. I was never called beforehand to be told they dudmt have my size truck. He never did a walk through on the truck with us, and it had a cracked window. Because I had to go with the smaller truck (15'), because a 26' truck wouldn't have fit in my super steep driveway, we weren't able to fit all our stuff. Do we had to rent a 10' truck for the items that wouldn't fit. (A 20' truck would hand been perfect, which is why I reserved that) So not only did I not get the truck I reserved, it ended up costing me another $160 or so the next day to rent the 10' truck and drive the 3 hour round trip again.

The first trailer they hooked me up to had broken lights and the kid who hooked it up (16 year old) told me that his boss said it was ok, as long as one of the lights worked (meaning using brake lights and both blinkers isn't necessary to legally drive?). So I made them hook me up to a different on that was fine. Had some pre-exiting damage but nothing major. The main reason I'm unhappy about this experience was the signage they had all over their office. All these cartoons that were incredibly insensitive, racist, misogynistic and classless. One sign in particular had printed over the confederate flag the words "if we knew it would end up like this we would have picked our own damn cotton". Extremely unprofessional and if these are the values that Uhaul supports I will happily spend my money elsewhere in the future.

The young man who works there is very helpful, he hooks up the trailer without even asking! He backed the trailer in for me (I am not the best parking the trailer) and unhooked it and sent me on my way. He emailed me the receipt minutes later... I only use this location for now on... great job!

The windshield of the truck was so dirty and covered with bugs that I could hardly see out of it. The gas tank was full, and the truck drove fine. I requested 48 moving blankets. Many of the blankets provided were not U-Haul blankets, were not packaged in plastic wrap, were covered in leaves and debris, and smelled like dirty dogs. On a side note, the signage posted in this place of employment is offensive. I realize this is America, and thankfully freedom of speech is a right. However, there is a time and place for all expression and a public place of business is not the place for obscene images and/or verbiage. I would never again grace these doors with my business, and I will be sure to advise all friends and acquaintances to do the same.

Have them take down all the racist shit they have mounted on the walls. Talk about being uncomfortable when you walk in. We are an interacial couple and as soon as my husband walked in behind me everyone attitude changed. They have things posted in the office about picking cotton and Confederate flag everywhere. Uhaul itself was fine but this location is terribly racist. It left my husband pissed off for the day.

The location above was the 3rd location I had to go to to pick up my uhaul order. I reserved Dec 4th for a 15' truck and auto hauler...for January 1st...the first location had no idea how to work your system, the second ( where uhaul told me to go to pick things up) didn't have what I needed and was unfathomably slow even though the lady behind the counter said her day had been slow..the third location was the only one that actually had thier ducks in a row when picking up. When I dropped stuff off at my final destination, I was met with a very well organized man, that I do appreciate. Honestly? The biggest issue I have with the trip is the dumpster fire that was trying to pick everything up. It took me 2 hours..just to get the stuff I needed and I was already looking at a 12 hour trip, with multiple deadlines, had I not driven through the night, my deadlines wouldn't have been met. Which means your company put it's customer in a very dangerous predicament. I hope this helps better the company, cause I use uhaul more than I feel most have. In the past 4 years I've used then 3 times..this time was the worst. ( Accept the drop off point)
