The truck smelled like massive cigarettes. I was driving the truck to Phoenix and there was an issue that I needed to stay in Phoenix and I tried to return the truck up there instead and the guy told me there shouldn't be a problem because I was still in state. Turns out they wouldn't let me return up in Phoenix and needed to take it back to green valley. I needed to find a ride from green valley back to Phoenix that day because I needed to be in Phoenix. I understand I said I was going to return it back to green valley but encountered a family emergency up in Phoenix.Erica P.

The truck was not washed or very well cleaned. Most importantly, the ramp would NOT extend from the bed (nice to discover that after driving to Tucson to pick up the furniture that needed to be moved). The gas cap light on the dashboard never went out. To make things worse, we were supposed to pick up the truck at a different location, but after more than an hour of trying to complete the mobile pick-up and speaking to multiple U-Haul people on the phone, we had to got to a different location. I am currently being charged $40 for extra days because they failed to check me in on the actual day of return. I am trying to get that issue resolved still. Very dissatisfied with my entire Uhaul experience.BRADLEY N.

The trailer worked out fine for the job I had to do. There was a droning noise that was coming from the trailer. In my past history in the automotive field. This could be the sound of a bad wheel bearing. I'm not saying it is for sure but I think it would be worth checking Out.Claude C.

Truck was not ready when we arrived, I had done all paperwork online. It was not cleaned or filled with gas. The windshield wipers were broken. We had to wait 30 min for the clerk to get there side of paperwork finished. They were talking about some of their truck getting gas siphoned over night and still charging customers for it. Associates process paperwork when they have time, after grocery customers. In my case, processed 2 days later, adding charges not fully reimbursed. Uhaul phone call goes to someone at home, and issue is NOT RESOLVED.RANDALL H.

I dropped off tow dolly Monday night 12/14/20 after they closed. I called Uhaul and gave a woman by the name of Tia the contract number and drop location. This was the night of the 4th day. . She said everything was good. Later on 12/16/20 I get a call and asked if I'm going to keep the tow dolly and extra day. Then I get a charge for the extra day on my CC. Now I've got to take the time to get this straight and dispute the extra charge. I called UHaul and confirmed drop on Monday night 12/14/20 which was within the 5 day rental. Uhaul needs to communicate better within their organizationKENNETH M.

Not only did my app not work but the truck that I was in the system for my pickup was stolen from the u-haul place my time was waste I rented a truck for 6 hours it took an hour and a half to just rent the truck I will never rent from u-haul again I will be using budget rental trucks from now onMichael S.

Do not use U-Haul main office. They said I could pick up the truck at 7:30. Untrue. Fortunately for me, and although the local dealer did not open until 9, they saw me standing there and once I explained my situation with U-Haul, they opened and let me rent the truck which put me back on schedule as I had hired two guys to help. The local retailer was excellent. Not sure if I would use U-Haul again. Promise you anything but not deliver the ordered equipment at the prearranged time.GEORGE H.

I was not told that I would be getting a link to use to verify the condition of the trailer. Return location is based in a convenience store. Store did not have enough staff to properly process vehicle return. I filled gas up to 3/4 tank per contract at their location prior to handing keys over. Their was no one available to check in vehicle until next morning. The receipt I was emailed the next morning showed a 20 dollar gas charge. It is unacceptable for the process to happen like this.John K.
The person who took care of us when we returned our equipment in AZ was GREAT!!!! He had wonderful customer care skills. He had to get permission for us to return the equipment to that location since the one we were told to return it to was CLOSED!!! He did this with a smile and was very happy to help us and gave us such great service that I was blown away.CAROL C.
