I was charged for gas $13,50 due to the lack of the employee to perform basic check of the Gas level prior my rental and just entered in the system what he thought the Gas level supposed to be and assume I was returning the Van with less gas than It was supposed to .I even bought more gas than I waa supposed. Unbelievable be charged $30 dollars gasoline fee and 8 dollars more for 1/15 of gasoline missing. 38$ could filled it up all tank. Scam!Anthony F.

I reserved 2 furniture dollies online when I arrived I was told they don't have the dollies. Which made are move difficult. Booking online and checking the dolly box I assume means that it was in stock at the store that I was borrowing the truck from completely misleading and not niceMark C.

I was not impressed with the fact that the online system allowed me to book a 7:30am pick up time when the location doesn't open until 8am. Then the van I received had a half tank of gas even though it's part of Chevron! I mean the pumps are right there. The manager could make sure that the vans are all full of gas before handing them out. On top of that, the moment I started up the van the low tire pressure indicator warning light appeared. I work in the film business and it's timing. To have to wait 30mins after scheduled pick up time, to have to inflate a tire, to have to fill up the tank of gas are all a waste of my production time and are easy fixes for uhaul to take care of. Bottom line - not impressed.Michael V.

truck was dirty and smelling bad. papers and trash left all over the truck. Driver door didnt close properly. !! SAFETY CONCERNS HERE !! I returned the truck with gas on how they ask me to. And even then, i was charged $19 EXTRA for gas. I should have taken a pic of the fuel. $19 is AN ENTIRE TANK OF GAS. When i contact them on chat, nothing was done as i didnt have a picture. is not for the money, is for the respect and honesty of its employees. Very disappointed with U HAUL.Kate S.

Not lying about mileage, i have sign papers on 6965 Miles, and i left vehicle with 6969, so that's 4 miles, and Uhaul charge me for 12 miles. I mean that's not lot of money, but be honest...Vuk R.

There were several holes in the roof in the cargo area of the roof. As it was pouring rain all day and the whole reason of renting the truck was to keep the furniture I was picking up dry this was a huge issue.DAVID P.

I had rented and secured a truck and a furniture dolly. When we arrived to pick it up, there were NO dolly's available. This made for an unpleasant moving experience, as it is is critical part of moving heavy boxes and furniture.STACEY G.
This car was crashed, the back door couldn't be opened, stink (it smelled horrible). I rented that truck for 5 or 6 hours (2 miles or less) and the manager (Joaquin) loaded, "by mistake", on my card 758 dollars. This is the worst experience I have had with you. Now I have to wait a long time to fix this situation while the card charges me interest. This is completely unacceptable.luis P.

I have delivered the truck with a full mileage and gasoline and they have changed my document and they have given me to deliver it with less gasoline and I had taken a photo and the mileage coincided but the gasoline did not and when I went to claim the documents when I rented the truck did not appear even on the computer apparently, thank youDANIEL M.

just recieved an email that I am being charged an additional $42. I picked up the uhaul at 9am saturday 6/20. I was in Miami by 10:30am . Dropped the uhaul off where I was told to before noon. I talked to a representative on the phone and told her the van has been dropped off. Now I am being charged an additional amount that is saying I dropped off the uhaul this morning at 7:42am? This is completely unacceptable. I will not pay for something that did not happen. I called the original uhaul 5 points after emailing and calling the uhaul I dropped it off st on 71st street . Which I was hung up on, and sent an email as well. I spoke with Dana from uhaul 5 points who also called and was hung up on and wouldn't answer the phone. Clearly this is a huge mistake on their part and will not correct this.jessica L.

Someone must have moved instillation in truck before and nobody cleaned it . So me trusting in uhaul i go get the truck now my things thats ive been useing everyday of my life, there useless my bed clothes its a nightmare im literally crying i have a son.....!!!SUSANA V.
The vehicle I picked up was an absolute nightmare. After wasting so much time with your app first having problems with app. Then trying to locate the vehicle. And wasting so much time with the verification which should have been done days before, (not at the time when picking up my rental!) I had no time to try and switch it for another vehicle. The rental was not clean back or cab, it was nearly impossible to keep it driving In A straight line. At highway speeds it was all over the place and randomly pull hard to the left making it super hard to stay safely in my lane. Many many many times when accelerating or just going up any grade that put stress on the motor the air conditioning would cut out and not work for a minute. Many of The panels inside the cab were broken and the one under the steering wheel fell off at one point and hit me in the knee I had to pop it back into place several times. And there was no parking brake. Also about mid way through the trip. The ABS light came on and stayed on the rest of the time. The vehicle was a complete death trap. The location we picked up at was below average after speaking the the gas station cashier and waiting over 10 minutes The U-Haul employee final appeared out of the back to hand us the keys and was not very helpful. When I returned the vehicle I found that all the spots that were marked for the rentals were full. 5 of those spots were normal cars not u haul trucks. There were signs saying you vehicle would be towed if parked there but after being there for 30 min no one came out to them. I asked the gas station Attendant about it he said sorry nothing we can do. Try by the laundry mat. So I wasted more and more time with that ridiculousness. Over all I'm super not happy with the whole experience. In the future I would definitely not return to that location. And 100% consider trying another company before uhaul.Mario R.
