It wasn’t so much the location as it was with U-HAUL agents associated with U-HAUL support. I called in 4pm EST to verify my reservation and everything was verified, to include the needed accessories, the reserved vehicle size and type, the required pick up time due to moving my daughter into Florida State University (FSU). Everything was verified and assured it was good to go. Then at 7pm EST, 12 hours before pick up I was contacted by a different U-Haul representative, 3 hours after verification was verbally expressed as well as communicated by email and text, informing me the van I requested is not allowed for me to pick up. I was then told instead of 7am I could get it at 9am but then that would put me outside the required moving in guideline restrictions from the university. I then had to scramble asking for alternatives from the agent since they didn’t offer any and I did end up getting a vehicle. Although I DID NOT get one still piece of equipment I needed, a DOLLY!! No the entire reservation process was a joke! You don’t get the requested vehicle, you don’t get the required accessories, but you do get added frustration and anxiety from useless reservation verification issued by U-HAUL! DO BETTER! MUCH BETTER! For the price of retting your truck for 4 hrs the service and organization is unacceptable.

DONALD EThe truck was not cleaned when we got it. It Needed sweeping out inside the truck. I only had the truck a few hours Renting it. I told them I was going to Brunswick Ga ( 40/50 miles to pick up a piano ( my Mom left to me apond her death) we went straight there. Picked it up. Grabbed McDonald's and came straight back. The place we were told closed at 5pm. But if we were close. It was a drop box. Just make sure,we put gas in it Full Tank . Which we did and cleaned it out. Thru heavy traffic. We arrived safely back at 6:02. They were closed. So we called to let them know we had returned the truck. Took pictures of it and video. Put keys in Dropbox. Lady was rude and hung up. Yet I was charged $40 plus. Extra.. Which I felt wasn't right. For a $19.99 truck we rented for five hours. $152.00 plus $40.00 extra money. Jacqueline Davis Williams

The men are friendly and professional; however, the woman who owns this location should consider allowing them to handle all customer facing interactions. Also, I was overcharged and had photos and videos of the vehicle, but she would not remove the extra charges, knowing that her/ the staff entered the wrong information. Unfortunately, I had to contact the corporate office and open a case for a refund. Even though, my preference was to have it resolved at the rental location. I will no longer be patronizing this location, but will support another U-Haul location nearby.

MARCEL AI was charged $20 for convenient fee because I turned in the truck after hours and didn’t close out the ticket online. I was not aware that I needed to do that and I was never informed. What you can do to improve your services is ,let your customers know they will be charged a $20 convenient fee if they returned the truck after hours and didn’t close out their ticket online.

RICHARD GGot U-Haul dirty but returned it clean and without disconnecting or using previously paid for furniture pads. However, I was charged $10 for cleaning and NO credit for pads still intact and not used. Difficult getting truck in the business and business owners are not very friendly.
