The only positive I have is that the truck was clean and well maintained. The initial location I was supposed to pickup from changed, and they called me the morning of to tell me I needed to pick up the U-Haul from what ended up being an electronics shop that apparently rents out uhauls as a side gig. It took 34 minutes from the time I started being helped to the time I got the keys to the truck, AFTER I had already done the entire rental process online and all I needed to do was go inside and get the keys. Still I was patient and just figured it was a newer employee. Then, the guy needed to manually type in my card which was strange because they had multiple pin pads, but I minded my own and allowed it without a fuss as I try to be the chill customer. Because they had to move my location same day, I was told my price would be $10 instead of $19.95. He would not honor that. Then, fast forward to the next day (today), and that store charged my card again for a completely different amount. I had to dispute it with my bank to get my money back. Horrible experience and I’ll be figuring out a different way to move next time. Opposite of what I needed right before deploying. Do better U-Haul

my rental was changed to a smaller truck which was very bad because they didn't tell me it did not have ramp. Making the move of equipment very labor intensive. Truck was not clean.. Using the app to pick up the truck while it was pouring rain, was miserable considering i had to take pictures and inspect the exterior. When checking the truck back in, I couldn't find someone to help me, the only person there was watching a movie and a teenager came out to try to check the truck back in which took about 25 minutes to complete.
