The old man that operates this place is the worst. I usually go to another location but since I needed to move stuff from my storage and this place was closer so I went. I told him I wanted to opt out of the insurance and he said the new law was I had to take it. Or I had to show proof of documentation that I can pay the 50k van if I declined the insurance. Which I know was fear mongering or bs. So I took the van returned it at 745ish yesterday. Then today when I got the receipt he charged me a cleaning fee of $25. Yesterday when he handed me the key I told him to check the van and he took out a banana and metal item from the previous renters. The van was filthy and dirty inside and outside. I returned it after moving my stuff and didnt not even eat or anything in it. He told me food was left in it and he was so mad I complained about the cleaning fee he hung up on me. Clearly this man is money hungry and is overcharging clients. I have been a client of uhaul for a long time and know this is not how they are and the policies. Im very disappointed in the service and regret renting a van from here.

Everything was great and fast. Person who helped me was, patient , friendly, communicative, and really great sense of humor. I dont think they need to improve anything, excellent service.

The truck was dirty inside and we ended up cleaning it before we placed our belongings. When I told him about it when I returned it, he essentially said I was lying. It’s not good business to accuse customers of lying. Also, the facility is not well kept.

Make sure the gas is at the level it is supposed to be at, truck was a little dirty, the brakes were squeaking and it took a long time to brake. Very scary experience.

The vehicle that I rented was not available they said the battery was dead so that was the first thing and the second I opt out for the insurance. He automatically charge me next time let the customer know what you’re being charged instead of charging automatic. I don’t get it.

No they overcharged me, they made get the insurance and they charged me gas fee and and extra day also the van was so dusty and dirty
