It wouldn't have been a problem to return the trailer via the website, but I also had one of their dollies. I wish I had known I needed to fill the truck up to what I picked it up at . No one told me that so I filled it back up spent alot of extra $$ and they told me I would not get any money back . That is some bull and its a rip off. Let people know this .Jeffrey A.
I picked up the "10 ft" truck at this site for a one way rental, but when I got to our home and was ready to start loading it, we realized that the truck was too small for what we needed (it's actually a 9ftX6ft, didn't realize that). We had to obtain a larger truck (15ft). I called this site and asked them for a larger truck, but they wouldn't have it until the next day, so I told them I was going to return the 9ft and would call about the 15ft. We were able to find a 15ft at Holland Road that evening, so we night dropped the 9ft truck back at the Churchland site at 7:00 pm. They charged me $347.60 at pick up and I've been trying to reach them about a refund for this truck. I've placed 3 trouble ticket/actions and no one has called me yet. I'm not sure why I have not received a call or my money back or why no one will pick up the phone at this site when I call to discuss this issue. Please help this this!LILLIANLORRAINE J.

I dropped off my van at night and it might have been helpful to receive some instructions on how to do that beforehand. Everything went fine but would have appreciated less initial confusion. I like this location and used it even though I ultimately didn't get the vehicle I wanted/needed. I reserved a van a week in advance, and the day of my reservation had disappeared. I ended up with a truck. I don't know if if was my fault or not. On U-Haul vehicles in general we have learned that there are problems that feel like transmission that never get reported to the rental companies. This was no exception, though I reported it. It seemed like most of the time when you pushed down the accelerator, nothing happened for a few seconds until it finally caught. It was hard to get up to speed. Your Chuchland office did a great job getting is in a truck. As for U-haul overall, I will never use your services again and will discourage others from renting a truck from you. Twelve hours before our move you called and said the truck we had reserved was not available. The caller gave us options that were far away or to late for our move. We settled on a later time to pick up our truck from a distant location, as you gave us no options. U-haul SUCKS and you have lost me as a customer.DEBORAHSUE H.

Originally, order a U-Haul truck on-line. The process went very well and the website was easy to use. However, when I went to pick up the truck there was no truck. The location had a sign basically stating any issue with U-Haul you need to contact U-Haul. Tried contacting U-Haul but was on hold for such a long time that eventually we were disconnected. Ended up cancelling and going to actual store which was several miles away (pick up location stated above) that went very well. So dealing with website only could be a problem if move is critical and people are lined up to help....MARKREGAN M.

1. My pick up location changed to this location from my reservation the day before, causing me to drive over an hour to pick up. UHaul customer service was rude and just flat out said essentially too bad, yelled at me that that was how it works with UHaul and do I want to cancel the reservation?! Then hung up on me forcing me to call back to make sure I still had a truck! I had to ask for the extra miles to be put on the contract....they weren't offered! The employee at Churchland Movers was awful. Never said hello, thank you or even good bye. Kept complaining about the internet being down and kept giving disgusting signs like we were the problem.MICHAELJAMES S.
The store is very rundown looking and the parking lot has many pot holes you have to navigate that are about 6-8â€ deep. If you aren't careful you'll tear up your own vehicle. The store front looks very rundown and not well kept.Matthew A.

Allowed to make reservation for pick-up on Thursday evening then no one was there for me to pick-up and they weren't supposed to close til 6 w/a note sending me miles away. Person on phone rescheduled for Friday morning 8 am I get there it was put in the system for Saturday not mentioning that it was now $1.39/mile in lieu of original $.89/mile and the nonavailabity of a 10' the 15' was too large and I'm a senior had to get help to climb into it. Their error caused much inconvenience, more money, missed appt to pick up my items, and physical pain. I would not recommend this location to anyone.Berkina P.

When I when to pick up the trailer it didn't have wiring. The agent saw that the U-HAUL on Airline Blvd had a trailer and I drove there 7 miles away. While there that agent said that I couldn't drop off the trailer in Churchland but gave me the wiring to take to Churchland so that I could use that trailer which I did. Closing time is 6PM. I returned my truck at 5:20 PM. No one present in office with sign "Back in 5 minutes" on desk. I waited until 6:10 PM to return truck to assure clean inspection and to accurately close out contract. No one ever returned. No explanation for inconvenience. Next day desk clerk would not share owner's last name. This location takes its customers for granted.JEFF S.

The sign in window for working hours is blank. When I returned my vehicle at 2:30PM on a Thursday afternoon, the door was locked. Looking inside the window I saw a sign saying "will return in 5 minutes." He never did. I waited 30 minutes and. . . nothing. Tried calling the local number, which just rang. No ability to leave a voicemail. The 800-number said the wait to talk to a person would be >30 minutes. Recommend the office/location be open during regular working hours, or at least have a way to contact it. And post actual hours on the door, instead of blanks. Vehicle itself was fine.ANTONY H.

Truck I received was not safe to drive! Had an unacceptable experience with the 15' footer that had way too much â€œplayâ€ in the steering wheel!! It took all my strength just to keep the truck in its lane. Also, while driving, the check engine check light came on. Relayed these concerns to the Churchland U-Haul store. Suggested they not rent this vehicle until these problems were addressedâ€¦seriously. Seems the vehicle has not been regularly maintained (over 133,000 miles) and it showed with this experience! Will be a long time before I trust U-Haul servicing of their equipment again without thorough pre-inspection.EDDIE N.

The worst uhaul experience I have ever incountered. There was absolutely nothing about this place or the rental that I would ever rent from them again. There was a nail in the tire, no ac, dirty inside, broken mirror swinging in front of my face, no dolly that I paid for!!! Absolutely worst experience. This location might be convenient for some but this needs to be shut down if they can't properly ensure the vechiles are ready to go each and every time!!!!brittany F.
We were rushed to pick up our own trailer because the location was closing early due to no coverage with employees. the truck itself was fine. the app and customer service times were aweful. App didn't like my phone, so pictures were near impossible to get. at checkin, was waiting on the phone for 45 minutes before getting a rep. At key dropoff, waited for a response on chat for 15 minutes before giving up (the rental locaton closed early, so I couldn't talk to them). Luckily everything seems to have worked out ok.Bruce F.

The truck I ended up renting was bigger than what I wanted. It turned out to be a huge gas hog, went 72 miles on 9 Gallons of gas! It started raining on our return back to Uhaul. My wife complained from the passenger seat, that the cab leaked, and got her shirt on her right arm wet. The stearing sucked, It was loose and misaligned. The Transmission sounded bad, but i don't know much about transmissions, it did run O.K. to get us to where we had to go and back.It had so many rattles we laughed at how much noise this truck makes while it is on the road. If this was my truck, I would have it in the shop to have it worked on.Thomas B.

The young guy who was there, seemingly alone was very unfriendly and condescending. He was not helpful at all and when I asked for clarifying directions, he grew impatient and flippantly spoke in complete exasperation that he would just do it himself.
