Tommy ODon't rent something you don't absolutely need, no refunds for untouched items. Also, don't bring back with more gas than you had in the beginning, you'll still get charged for everything. It would be good cust service to offer credits!!
DESIREE DThis is by far my favorite uhaul location. The owner and employees are all so friendly and helpful. Top of the line customer service. Always try to rent from this place before any others. All other locations have very very rude clients.
Catherine CThere was no one present. I received a text within 24 hours of the drop off, with the address and telephone number. I dropped off the trailer and truck, but called the number since it was unclear where I should park them. The guy told me to come to a different address. I started driving to the second address when I received a call from the guy, who asked how many wheels were on the trailer. I told him, and then he said to drive back to the original location. I also got UHaul email that day, giving me a third address. I asked the guy about reimbursing me for the oil I had to put into the truck, and told him that the engine light had been on. He said that the light being on met that an oil change was needed, and that it was my responsibility! Please contact me about a credit/reimbursement.

DAVID Dthe picking up process online was miserable, because the app kept asking me to fill out two people's information to call, and something's wrong with one of the number, it just said " the number is already in use" .. I didn’t even use my friends number before, how can it be already in use?? ? anyway, I picked up the truck after the stuff helped me check in the office.

SERGEI DWhen I placed the order online I chose the lowest tier insurance. I needed need the comprehensive tier (I guess it's called plus) because we were just moving a couple of wooden panels, nothing major. My husband went there to get the truck. I get an email of the invoice while he's out doing the move and I noticed that the invoice shows we were charged the "plus" tier insurance. I called the place and asked why that happened, why was it changed from my original order. I was told that my husband "requested" it to be changed. I called my husband and he said, that he didn't ask to change anything, he was merely presented with the order, he signed it (not really looking it through) and went on his way. I know the onus was on my husband to read the invoice before he drove off, but I just feel a bit scammed that they changed the insurance tier on the order. I guess I would still recommend this location because it's convenient, has parking and it was an easy enough drop in/drop off. Just saying buyer beware.
RUSSELL KThe guys lied to me. He told me this U-Haul is unlimited mileage, which is lied to me now they charge me additional I want my refund.

steve rIt was after hours and the place was a adhoc car repair/restoration lot. It was not clear at all where to park. But, worst of all the app kept crashing on my iphone causing us to take pics over and over again. It was very stressful. We had to call to get help but the customer service person was very nice and helped with the drop off.

FAIYAZ TAlthough the rental office is small and cramped, the people working there were cordial and professional. The truck provided was in very good condition. No complaints, and I'd be happy to rent from them again should the need arise.

KELL KChain not attached properly to car-fell off multiple times during drive. Somewhat difficult to identify office building, clear signage would help.
MARK SI was diverted to this dropoff location after my preferred location was full. It was very confusing because I was told the location would be open Sunday at 9am, but it wasn't. There was no clear place (to me) to leave the truck. It wasn't until I poked around that I saw a handwritten sign on the key drop box. I'll know better for next time.

Kerem YI had an excellent experience with Walter at the Lincoln Boulevard location in Santa Monica. I needed the truck at 9 am. Then I was told by Uhaul corporate that I had to to pick up instead at this location on Ocean Park which opens at 10 am. The operator was not service oriented at all like Walter. Also, he lied to me and said that the Insurance was mandatory. I was not certain that I wanted the insurance and was probably going to pay for it, but his position was not the UHAul policy position. However, I did want the insurance because my son was driving the truck and I wanted to be sure this would not raise any issues with my car insuarance provider. I just wanted you to know that this operator should not tell customers that insurance is mandatory - only that is is highly recommended. U Haul should have required the person delivering the truck back to bring it to Lincoln Blvd. That way I could have had the truck at 9 am. Again, this has nothing to do with Walter Perez at 1747 Lincoln Boulevard. His service was excellent. I wish the pick up location had not been changed. You should eliminate the City Car rental location.
KAREN MThe location was fine, and the gentleman working was very nice, helping as much as he was able. It was the U-Haul office which I dealt with on the phone that was awful. They called the day before to tell me my equipment was not available without driving an hour, so I downsized the truck I rented to get the essentials down and planned on flying back for the rest (I had an appointment I could not miss). Then, U-Haul charged me the same amount for the smaller truck as the larger truck despite the fact that when I booked the truck initially the smaller one would have been several hundred dollars cheaper. After about 30 minutes on the phone they lowered the price an extremely small amount, almost negligible. I had no choice but to rent as it was the day before my move. Shady business practices. Also very convenient that I’m reviewing a location for pickup and not U-Haul services I general. Seems like they want to shift the burden. I’ll reiterate that the location was great. U-Haul however screwed me over.

The front doors of the cargo van auto-locked with the key in the ignition (to cool off the cab), when the driver door shut as I was putting a dolly into the cargo area in their lot. They didn't have a spare key but were able to get access to the cab from the cargo area. My mistake for not keeping the key with me so I appreciate the help.
Darren QI needed the truck for the whole day and the manager would only rent to me from 10-1.Truck was older model. The suspension on the car was very poor. We bounced around in the car on every bump on the road. The gas tank cap had no cover to it and it was difficult to turn without cutting my fingers to remove it to refill the tank.
