Good customer service provided

this location is a hot mess. i did the express check out and there was only one guy and I still have to wait 35 minutes. Only to find out the pick up location is actually like 12 blocks away. What a joke. Oh and it's filthy.

I was able to pickup my 10' truck at the exact time I asked for without any problems. Would recommend!

Customer service was excellent! Should advise customers where to park if they return late and gates are locked.

Have the vans unlocked / key accessible. Contact at location was not able to be contacted. Trucks are located at separate location where one must drive to

I went to self-pickup the UHaul and discovered the keys were not in the truck! Instead I had to go to a different location and pick up a smaller van. The only reason I am giving 2 stars instead of one is because the manager helped us locate a different Uhaul and helped us make arrangements. He was very helpful and attentive.

no improvements, great customer service

Inconvenient location of van from main office means walk 1/2 mile after drop off unless the shuttle driver is available. Or you may drive your car and park there. But I didn't not knowing this and I used vehicle overnight. This also means that if you drop off the van at night and didn't drive your own car, you're walking back at night for the key drop off. At least have a key drop off at the van site to spare the customer the need to walk to the office.

I was charged for $14.00 for coverage when I did not enroll for! This is fraud and unethical. I purposely double checked my reservation before picking up that there was no insurance coverage added. After dropping off my car, you guys then charge me without my consent. I will YELP this location and many other location about UHAUL's unethical business strategy. I will also BLOG about this situation. When I called your customer service, there was nothing you guys can do about it.

The person helping tried to charge me for insurance which I had declined already online with express check-in. He was a bit rude as well. No one came to walk me around the truck checking for dents and damage etc.

location of rentals not at primary site. Would be helpful if reservation rental was at primary site.

Couldn't say enough nice things about this place! I think it's one of Santa Monica's best little secrets. Once you latch onto them, you'll wonder why you ever rented a truck anywhere else. And while you're there, you can also take care of your dmv registration, too, and a host of other services.

Everything went very smoothly - thanks!

Although the process went smooth, the place did not look organize or clean.

Send the bill promptly. Have the location be closer to where the trucks are actually parked.

Came up to LA to help our son move. This was the closest rental place to his apt. I read the reviews before hand so I knew the actual pick up spot was down the street. Bring someone with you with an extra car to avoid the walk. It was a great experience and the gentleman who helped us was very nice.

Always easy, and reliable!

first, you changed the pickup location after I agreed to it. Second, you changed the drop off location after I agreed to it. Third, you tried to charge me for driving too many miles (because you changed the pickup and drop off locations) and finally, all the moving equipment I ordered showed up a couple days after I moved. I don't know who your competitors are off the top of my head, but I'll find out next time I move. The people at the locations were pleasant and helpful, and truck was in clean and in good condition.

Very nice and organized. Best U-Haul experience I've had.

When I arrived, the manager said that he would park the car. Then once he realized that there was not enough space, he told me I had to go park the Uhaul off site and bring him the key. He sent me on my way without a ride or way back. I had to walk half a mile to bring the keys back to him... forcing customers to do your work is lame. Very unsatisfied.

I scheduled this online, and when I did that, the website asked me if I wanted to pay in advance and I elected to do so. I received a confirmation of where I was picking the truck up and where I was dropping it off and also of the equipment I had reserved. I had to schedule loading dock access for a very tight window for a downtown high-rise. The truck was not at the location scheduled and I had to be driven to a second location. There I was told that I couldn’t have the two dolly’s that I had reserved but would only get one and the owner there also insisted on charging my card again for the rental. Next, I had to get another ride to the location where the truck was parked. With only one dolly it took twice as long to load and I basically wasted the additional help that I had hired. I had a huge hassle with the office of the building who wanted me to remove the truck before I was done to make way for the next moving company reservation. When I returned the truck at the end of the day to the location on my contract I was told that they couldn’t take it and I had to drive it somewhere else. When I finally was able to turn it in they had the hutzpah to charge me $2.50 for the additional mileage.

The return location is far away from the key box. I have to walk a long way there.

Horrible drop off Location. Not a real Uhaul Drop off center. No staff, No Directions for Leaving the Truck, No Place to Park the Truck. Was told by the Auto Body shop next door that We had to leave the Truck in a Motel Parking lot about a Mile away. You should never direct a one way to this location. Ruined an other wise good Experience.
