This location maybe good for industrial companies in the immediate vicinity but there is no yard to return the truck and the office is part of a used car lot. Very utilitarian!

Adam KU-Haul Rental Experience Review My experience renting a U-Haul today was generally smooth, though there were a few notable hiccups. Pros: Early in the morning, when I went to pick up the truck, the garage door was frozen shut due to the cold weather. However, the business owner was very proactive and quickly contacted U-Haul headquarters to resolve the issue. Thanks to his quick actions and excellent service attitude, I was able to get the truck without much delay. Cons: After I finished moving, I accidentally locked the truck keys inside the vehicle. I had no choice but to call U-Haul’s roadside assistance, which cost $200, even though a local locksmith would have charged only $100. The service initially promised to arrive within 15 minutes, so I didn’t call a local locksmith. However, it took nearly an hour for them to show up, leaving me waiting in the cold. When the roadside assistance team finally arrived, it consisted of two individuals, one of whom was the locksmith company’s owner. The process of unlocking the truck was quite rough. He tried stepping on the tire to climb up and reach the window but couldn’t do it. Then, he attempted to use the homeowner’s trash bin as a stepping stool, and when I stopped him, he tried to grab the neighbor’s trash bin instead. I had to intervene again and explain that these were private properties and couldn’t be used. He seemed annoyed by my objections but eventually managed to unlock the truck. Conclusion: Overall, the U-Haul rental experience was decent. The business owner provided excellent service, and the rental process itself went smoothly. However, U-Haul’s roadside assistance was disappointing. The delay, coupled with the unprofessional behavior of the locksmith team, made for a frustrating experience. I hope U-Haul improves the quality of its roadside assistance service and the professionalism of its partners in the future.

Jordana SThe owner tried to intimidate me in paying extra fees saying that I didn't return the truck clean. I had not received a pre-departure walk around and the truck was very dirty. When I returned the truck him and his employee ganged on me with fear and intimidation tactics to try to coerce me in paying more. Terrible location. Terrible owners. Terrible U-Haul experience. Will not return. Will not recommend. 0/10.
Laurent NCustomer Service was great ( Pram and George the boss, lol) Very friendly and helpful. Only issue we had ( my son and I) was trying to find this location since it had no signs on the road or building but we did find it. We originally booked the truck weeks ago at the outlet on Haddon Road ( Convenience store) The customer service there was above and beyond what I had expected from a tiny store. Both Jass ( lady) and Niraj ( gentleman) were super friendly and helpful and patient. Even though we were supposed to pick our truck up from that location, we got a message it was delayed by a few hours and pick-up was now at Ogden Road. That was totally OK with us and it worked out even better to have those extra hours in the morning to get last minute stuff packed up at home. Both locations had awesome Customer Service and the truck was clean and ready to go. We moved up north ( 9 hour trip) and had no issues whatsoever in terms of Maintenance or truck breaking down. We are super happy with the service over all and highly recommend it. Great job Jass, Niraj, Pram and George! You rock!

Brian KWhen I arrived, nobody spoke with me till they asked for the key. When I walked in the office no one was present, and I had to go outside cause the smell of the vehicle being painted in the back was very overwhelming. This is a huge health and safety issue. Even when asked for the keys no further conversation. Seemed like we were an inconvenience to them. Told if I wanted a paper receipt I would have to wait, and no further discussion was had. No comments on the vehicle or questions asked about the vehicle. Very disappointed with the service provided.
ERICA MThe uhaul guy was good at the pick up but it was 20km from where we booked and that added extra mileage which we had to pay when we dropped off the truck. That didn't seem fair.
CRYSTAL FA good experience overall, fast and efficient dispatch. Truck interior was clean, exterior was dirty but was told it had just arrived, should not be an issue for a potential rental. Location, access, and parking are excellent. Thank you

Serena LCharged 80 bucks a crack that was there before, got a truck with no locker, the battery died because the truck was old. Do not recomend, you will be charged for things you havent done and a "20 cad deal" becomes a 200 cad deal. Never using uhaul again

Dawn MDogshit car rental place with no clear instructions, all things have to go through the crappy uhaul website/app. No dedicated parking for uhauls and the guy got picky about where i was parking it in the alley where i picked it up. While also saying they were closed and i had to do the whole online drop off process online in the pouring rain taking photos of the truck while the guy inside saw me park it there in perfect condition. The links didn’t work when i picked it up and when i dropped it off after taking all the pictures in the rain it cleared and made me take them all again. Absolutely horrible renting experience $300 down the drain

JUAN RSAVE YOURSELF MONEY, RENT ELSEWHERE !!! The location manager was extremely unacomidating,the vehicle smelt like it was doused in a bottle of the cheapest perfume that would only be used for a $2.00 whore between johns. I had requested an appliance dolly when booking, there was zero mention they had none. I told the young attendant when picking up the vehicle in no uncertain terms I did NOT REQUIRE the CDW insurance as the policy I have on my 4 personal vehicles has a $50,000 coverage for rental vehicles yet Iin reviewing my final bill one of the EXTRA charges was $16.00 for that insurance. When I returned the vehicle the level of fuel on the gauge was a needle width higher than when I got it and I have, both photos to prove it and a fuel receipt from 2kms (5 minutes) away, I mentioned it to the lot attendant that I met both on obtaining and returning the rental and he acknowledged it yet I was billed another additional $14.99 for 8 litres of fuel. That coupled with the 8 litres I put in for the total distance of 15 miles would put the fuel mileage at 4.25 miles to the gallon given I did zero idling time other than at controlled intersection stops. I had a total load of less than 850 lbs for only 7 miles consisting of a 770 lb fire safe and 4 additional file cabinet drawers. For long haul loaded 18 wheelers it is mandated "any truck produced after 2014 is legally required to have a fuel economy of at least 7.2 miles per gallon." And having spent 45 years a red seal licensed mechanic 10 of those as General Motors dealership Mechanic working on the same engines powering the 10 foot cargo box GM cutaway van rental unit I was renting, I declare BULL SHIT and shall be contacting the Better Business Bureau over CITY CAR SALES LTD of Calgary on Monday.
