The pick up location in Indio ca was run out os coin operated laundromat, no U haul personnel was present when I arrived. Just so Mickey Mouse, how can you run a Uhaul franchise out of a Laundromat? When I arrived they told me there were no trucks Even though I had one reserved. I told him there was a truck there and he said oh but I don't have the keys well turns out the person who handled it called in sick. he did have the keys there was a truck and eventually after phone calls and rerunning all my information I was able to take the truck with me it was not a pleasant experience at all. The check in process took almost a half an hour. The location was scary. You need to make after after hour drop off easier. I have rented from jail several times and was able to drop off truck and leave the keys after hours. The whole mobile drop off was horrible.Patricia B.

While my initial reservation was for a branch in Palm Springs which I paid for & was changed to Clarks, Indio (30 miles away) at the last minute by Uhaul (no fault of Clarks). This branch in Indio went out of their way to locate a furniture dolly for me (since they didn't have any). Joana at the office was extra helpful & courteous.Godofredo L.

Make sure that the cargo portion of the truck is clean and inspected. After renting the truck, we found dirty, used syringes inside with burnt foil in the cubby hole of the truck and along the door sliding rails.Jamie B.

It was a laundrymat, not a truck rental location. Noone there to help with the transaction despite it being during the 'open hours'. Very unclear how to secure the truck, despite using the mobile app. Nothing explained how to secure the moving blankets for safe return.Joseph H.

The rental unit was very dirty when I picked it up !! The steering wheel was very disgusting to even put my hands on it, as it was very sticky with pop or something spilled all over it. The cup holders were extremely dirty as well, as were the seats and the floor. Be sure that the vehicle has been cleaned before renting it out to the next customer.terrence P.

A bit confusing on were and how to complete drop off. The gentleman who helped us was awesome and very accommodating, but location was a little sketchy and random. But overall experience with staff member was exceptional.Joel S.

Location was not clean and not inviting. Person who greeted us was working the laundromat. Had to wait 15 minutes for Yvette to assist us. Yvette was good, although she forgot to give me the 6 furniture blankets that I rented and paid fir.Michael D.
I was contacted by 3 different locations. I made my reservation a week prior to renting the truck. The day before I received 4 calls, 3 voicemails, 4 texts about my pick up details. When I tried to return the call (since I was in meeting at work all day and missed the calls) no one answered. Then on the day of my rental, I was contacted another 3 times by 3 different locations. The first time was them notifing me that they didn't have the truck I asked for an telling me to go to another location. 30 minutes after that phone call, I was contacted by the original location asking if I was still renting from them, I asked if they had the truck I needed and the said YES! I ended up going to that location. This process was a nightmare.Rebecca I.

excellent all round; equipment was towed 1300 mi up to Canada and some of highways were rough but the unit towed flawlessly - as we had loaded it per recommendations.... personel at both ends of rental were most helpful and courteous.... highly recommended to anyone needed to move stuff...Victor J.

Computer system was down, causing a very length delay. The Personnel were excellent, though. (But, the Lady at the Location did not know where Canada was ?? WOW) It was a two hour drive to pick-up a 6'x12' Trailer â€¦â€¦ can NOT believe there was not one closer to our House in Palm Springs !!Donald M.

This location is a small office inside of a laundromat. The individuals laundering were discussing family members in prison and those who have had given their children away to family. We waited over thirty minutes for someone who did not have a reservation along with another couple. The employee was very nice when she was able to help us. The towing dolly I reserved was not available. The uhall track's air conditioner didn't work. I called the road side assistance. I have to add the clerk at Clark's travel center was great and friendly. The road assistant, Tanya, was also great. I had to go to a different location, Coachella, to get the auto transport equipment. I wasted 2 and half hours to get the AC fixed and to get the auto transport equipment.Michael T.

When I return the truck on time 0700 I was told the u haul employee was not there yet. I waited 15 mins, then I put the keys in the drop box. The next day, i noticed I was charged 43.90?? I went to the location and was told the truck was not check I until 5pm that's why I was charged another day. They called u haul and advised me it will take 2 days to get my money back. Have someone at the pick up location who has experience in renting equipment. It was the worst experience I've ever had with any kind of rentals. Absolutely incompetent and I lost over $100 in wages I had to pay the employees because I was so late.GREGORY C.
Clerk was very disorganized, couldn't get printer to work so no receipt, left me waiting for 18 minutes and I left. U Haul is awful 2nd rental since September and neither location knew I was coming, no coordination with HQ, didn't have vrooect size truck when reservation was made more than 1 month earlier. WILL NEVER USED U HAUL AGAIN and WILL TELL ANY INTERESTED FRIENDS TO USE ANY OTHER TRUCK RENTAL.Gerry G.

Less than 1/4 tank of gas. Since this location is at a gas station, tank should be full or close to it and ready for customer pick up. Dirty interior of cab and the windshield was so dirty it was difficult to see out of. Someone should at least wash the windshield so it's not a safety issue for the driver. Customer has no way of cleaning the windshield prior to driving and, maybe not even afterward since the truck was so big and difficult to reach windshield without a ladder.Rich M.
