I rented at a facility close to home on Hwy 64. Then I was notified they didn’t have a truck and then I was notified the day before pickup I’d have to drive 20 minutes out of my way in collierville to pick up the truck I rented. When I got there, I was told the day before that someone could walk me through the process on the phone since we were getting there before the place where the truck was opened. I called UHaul and was on the phone for 20 minutes before someone answered only to be transferred and waited another 10-15 minutes and then put on hold again before given a code to get the key. Then I had to take pictures, etc. etc. this was another 20 minutes down the drain. By that time I had hoped the place would open and I could get some help with an actual person. No one showed up until 20 minutes after time to open. I would have gladly submitted my drivers license and photos and at least done some of it ahead of time. We got started an hour and a half late because of this process. I will say the person that helped me on the phone did an excellent job of walking me through the process. I just wish I had known what it was going to be like ahead of time. I haven’t rented a truck in 4 years and this process was done with an actual person and I was in and out inside of 15 minutes tops. If you’re going to partner with mini storages, make sure they have staff. If someone has rented a truck from a specific location make sure there is a truck AT THAT LOCATION! They rent from a specific location for a reason! Does UHaul not have runners or drivers to transport vehicles. That would have been proper customer service. Do better IHaul.

Joseph SmithCalled the night before drop off and I was told they open at 9AM. Got there it was 9:30AM but nobody was working until 10AM. The person refused to open the door so that I could drop the keys off and I put it in the key return. No customer service at all

Felicia HamptonThis location was fine although no one was there the door was locked and the sign said they were open. Customer service was helpful though as they helped me through the process of checking in online and retrieving my key. However the people at the summer ave location were rude and not helpful. This is my second time where I tried to use this location and there was absolutely no change in there attitudes. I assume that this carries over from the top down as this was the second time. The person in front of me in line was having a similar bad experience. Something should be done about thr customer service at this location. If my team acted like this I would be embarrassed and outraged.
