I had reserved the trailer 1 month prior to pick up. It was not available at the location I chose. Old contact info- that I have asked to be removed was used as point of communication. I called 2 days prior to pick up to double check. I ended up having to drive further.

Check out process to pick up the truck was miserable. They said it was system / computer issues. Which I believed them as they were having a hard time checking anyone out. if they are correct and the end of every month the system is that slow something major needs to change at UHaul. it should not take 45 minutes to pick up the truck. I needed the truck much sooner than it ended up being available simply because they could not process the check out.

dave sI think problem with tire could be detected by webster branch and I would not need to spend time to pump tire every day. And there was some water leak from rain. Very minor, but still. Some items were wet.
Vladyslav ZU-haul has come a LONG way since I rented a truck to move about 30+ years ago. Clean truck with everything operating as it should, relatively fuel efficient, and didn’t smell of burnt oil. And a backup camera!

The worker did his best to help but it seemed like he was dealing with things that wasn’t his doing. Overall it served my purpose but the process of pick up was challenging.

James KThe mobile self checkout of the truck was not done properly. The vehicle I was assigned was not the same key I received in the lockbox. This took time and phone calls to correct on that day. Going forward I will only rent at a time that counter service is available.

JAMES KTruck had exhaust leakage which made it extremely noisy to drive. I did go back in to let them know but nothing could be done, so I used this one. It was bad, and a hole in the exhaust impacts gas mileage, so I probably had to pay more for gas. Some refund should be provided as rental price should be for a truck in good working order. I shouldn't have to ask, it should be offered. I'll wait for a partial refund, please let me know.

The main lobby was clean and welcoming. This was my first experience renting with u-haul and it definitely won’t be the last! Thank you you for your hospitality!

STEVEN MThis location is small. Our truck was located on the side of the building in mud. The staff member was friendly but there was only one person working there. He was on lunch when we tried to return the truck.
BRIAN KWe drove 6 miles, returned the truck with the same amount of gas that we received and we were charged for 3 gallons of gas.... It does not take 3 gallons of gas for 6 miles. What an absolute SCAM. This happened the last booking I had with this location as well with a 10ft. Truck. I will never rent from here again and will just drive to Irondequoit if the one on ridge doesn't have the truck I need. This location is ran by scammers.

RONALD WI rent a lot from this location, due to convenience. But, I am considering changing to another location or competitor. They are continually not there, and I am stuck in the vestibule waiting. The sign indicates they are with a customer showing rental units (paraphrasing the sign), but they are not. It's just a generic sign. So I'm not sure where they are. This happened at both pick up and drop off on this last rental and has also happened many other times. In fact, when I arrived this past time, another customer had already been waiting in the vestibule for 15 minutes. They had a reservation and ended up leaving to go elsewhere. Also, this location has been 1/2 hour late opening up. Very recently I had a rental reserved for the time they opened, but they were 1/2 late getting there. This has also happened on numerous occasions. Very frustrated with lack of customer care..
Ken SI rented a trailer late in the afternoon on the 11th of March. I returned the trailer in the evening of the 12th of March after the office was closed. I just received the receipt saying I returned it on the 14th of March which is actually two days after I returned it and was charged extra. I want my bill adjusted to reflect my actual usage.

PETER OThe overall process of U-Haul was excellent. The app is excellent & customer service was great upgrading my truck size. Svetlana was excellent in the rental pick up process. The issue of Tire low pressure mid trip, was unfortunate and possibly dangerous. Having roadside assistance to replace the 2 rear left tires was needed. The cold weather could have masked pressure issue, not sure if point check includes tire pressure but good thing to add if not. The tires were not visibly flat at pick up to me. I gave the score because the process was excellent, the vehicle otherwise was good.

CHERYL PIt was odd that I had reserved the 20 foot truck the day before with my credit card for next day at 9am and couldn’t make it there on time to pick it up. When I got there they had already rented out the truck I reserved without giving me a courtesy call to make sure if I was picking up before renting out. I was lucky they had a 15 foot truck available but I would have preferred the 20 foot truck and them calling me to make sure if I was still interested.
LUIS MI was there at the pickup time and the store was wasn’t open. The store owner was late and the computer system was malfunctioning so I was a hour behind schedule.

ROBIN MYou charged me for gas when I brought it back fuller than what I took it at. Thankfully, I took a picture of the gas gauge when I returned it. But now, I have to be inconvenienced to drive to your location tomorrow to get a refund. This borderlines on an unethical business practice.

David BHave the person at the desk know the facility. I pulled in with a 40’ motorhome. Luckily there was room for me to drive around the building then I realized the back side of the building is private residences.
Raymond SI used mobile pickup since this location was 'not available' for pickup during the time I wanted (1:30pm). The mobile app did not give me a code to get my keys and was telling me to go to the office for key pickup. The office had a sign on their door that they were closed 1:00-2:00 so I had to wait until 2:00 for them to open and give me my keys. The mobile app was not helpful and did not offer my the option to request the code again or anything except 'go to the office'. I will NEVER use mobile pickup again. The app was terrible.

Patricia VOur online reservation was input wrong, so we went in person to have it fixed. The service person at the desk updated our time allotment and asked where we were going and where we would need to drop off, Oswego, but apparently it wasn't changed in the system. When I called to get it switched to drop off in Oswego I was told I couldn't do so because I was charged local, not out of town. I stated I had no issue paying the difference between the local and out of town rate, but the manager of the store told me I had to bring the truck back to Webster. I was unable to do this, but he insisted and said that if I didn't I would be charged "astronomical fees" if I were to leave it there. Extremely poor customer service.

LAURIE CWe reserved furniture pads for our move and expected to see them In the truck. When we saw they were not in the truck, we went inside to ask for the pads, but they said they had none. The reservation system should be smart enough to know this. Then, they did not help us with the refund for the blankets we booked but did not get. They said we had to contact U-Haul. But they represent U-Haul, so….. I ended up checking the box that the furniture pads were not received in the app, but we had no one to talk to when we dropped the truck off because there was just a drop box. A day later, we got the receipt which said the furniture pads were present, which is not accurate because they weren’t there to begin with. At least they didn’t try to charge us for not returning the pads, but they still charged us for the pad rental and I’m not sure how to get that part of the rental refunded.

MICHAEL NWindshield was cracked, air tire sensor showing low. Tried to fill tire with air but valve stem was broken. Had to wait 2 hours for roadside assistance to arrive and another 40 minutes for repair. This turned my 6 hour drive in 9 hours when this truck should have been repaired before being put on the road for a customer to deal with. Candy wrappers and drink cans in the cabin, it’s like no one even attempted to clean it.
