Tasha RMake the location staff do the truck review, pictures, gas tank, cabin, photos at pickup and drop off times. If after business hours, the customer can do it. It literally took 20-25 minutes to upload pictures and fill out questions on my phone. Terrible customer service!

There was nothing that I had seen saying this was a smoking truck. This should be communicated due to people being asthmatic which my son and I are.

Nelson SPlease give clear directions on how to access this location. Google maps and Waze both directed to the wrong locations. It's a little tricky to find this location. I should have called first. They were very helpful once I called.

DARRYL DI was told online that I would be able to get a 20' U-Haul. I was reserving online and the first location I checked said they didn't have any. So when I pulled up the college location they said they did. When I went to pick it up, they then gave me a 15' truck and said that they never have 20'. Then they proceed to tell me that my rental is for 4 days. That it was policy for trips that were as far as I was traveling. I only wanted it 2 days and returned it in less than 48 hours to the Orlando location. The Orlando store said they had never heard of such a thing. Very discouraging, probably won't rent from you again if this is the case.

At checkin I reached out to site directly for assistance since they were closed. I was directed to an 800 interactive number
Michelle PHave all the supplies/equipment requested on site. Have a better system of communicating with customers and giving updates on how adjustments have been made with customer knowing about the update before arriving and finding out in the moment something was changed/altered with the reservation. Communication/Logistics is not great, to say if something is not done on the customer end, its our lost and a ton of fees will be accrued.
Kawanda LU haul as a company sucks! I will not rent from U haul again! I received a phone call the night before my rental was due to be picked up, 7:30pm. This phone call was to inform me that the U haul a reserved a month in advance was not available because it was down for maintenance. I was directed to another U haul place that had the truck I had reserved. The next morning, I arrived at the second location only to learn that they aren't open on weekends. I called U Haul, the lady was very nice on the phone. She directed us back to the original location!!! Discounted the mileage from $1.09 to 0.89 cents for my troubles.. BIG discount, hahaha, I drove the truck a total of 10 miles! When we arrived at the original location, the guy had no idea what we were talking about. He guy was a smart ass, but very helpful. Using the app sucks!!! I had the use the app to check in the truck when we returned it, the guy was at lunch. When taking a picture, the frame goes black, there is no option to go back or reset the camera. The QR code on the check in box brings you the U haul website with no instructions. After needing to exit the app, because it was frozen, my reservation went away. I was not able to complete the check in process.

Ray WThe rental pick up location should be changed to the one on airline highway because I was told the night before my scheduled pickup that the college drive location did not have the 26 foot Uhaul that we requested and I was told that the Airline Hwy location had one that would be reserved for me and ready at 9:30 a.m. My experience at the Airline Hwy location was as bad of an experience as I have had as a customer of any business. I arrived at 9:30 a.m., which was my scheduled pick up time. I was not spoken to by any associate until 10:00 a.m.and what I was told by this associate was that there was not a 26 foot Uhaul available and that there was no guarantee that there would be one at any point during that day. I had movers that I booked through Uhaul scheduled to load my furniture and belongings at 10:30 a.m. that day and had planned on leaving town for my cross-country move the following day. Due to the inability of the Airline Hwy location to provide me with the truck that I had paid for and been guaranteed, I was not able to have the movers come to my house at their scheduled time and I missed my final farewell luncheon with my previous employer that I was with for four years. When I asked the associate at the Airline Hwy location to please contact the movers that I had fortunately scheduled through Uhaul to reschedule their pickup time at my house since there would not be a point in me paying movers to come without a Uhaul present, I was simply told that I would have to worry about that myself. After that, I asked if they could at least provide me with the contact number of the movers since they were booked through Uhaul, and I was also refused this information. At this point, I left the Airline Hwy store and went into my car to try to figure out with my wife how we were possibly going to move things around with a toddler in hand to make our move work. I found the mover's contact information, and he graciously agreed to come at 7:00 a.m. the next day. My wife called the general Uhaul number and after sitting on hold for forty minutes, was told that the nearest 26 foot Uhaul was 70 miles away. We decided not to drive 70 miles to pick up a 26 foot Uhaul, since my agonizing experience at the Airline Hwy location caused my wife and I to question whether or not there would even be a 26 foot truck after we drove 70 miles. When my wife declined the reservation of the 26 foot Uhaul that was 70 miles away over the phone, the associate my wife spoke to offered us a 20 foot Uhaul that was closer to us which we accepted. The associate also offered my wife a trailer that could attach to the 20 foot truck at no upcharge which was greatly appreciated, because that almost got us the same amount of space that the 26 foot would have gotten us. When we picked up the 20 foot Uhaul at the third attempted location, we were not provided with the furniture pads that we paid somewhere between $15-$20 for. While this was not nearly as egregious as the experience I had at the Airline Hwy location, I would appreciate a refund for the furniture pads. As a customer, I am very pleased with the flexibility of the mover and with the associate that my wife spoke to on the phone's decision to offer us a trailer at no up charge. On the flip side, I could not be more displeased with every aspect of my experience at the Airline Hwy location, particularly the lack of punctuality, the lack of responsibility taken in their inability to provide us with what we paid for, the unfriendliness of the staff, and their complete unwillingness to do anything to try to help us through the situation they put us in.
Marshall FTurned key in at 2:30 pm. Handed it to a gentlemen. Next morning I received an email. $20 after hour check in fee . Told it was bc I didn’t “ check in” on the app. Why ? There’s a human there. Also charged $20 bc blankets weren’t folded. Won’t use this location ever again.
betty MHave always had good results with checking in except for one time when I called to extend due to having a flat tire on front end of trip. Another one of the issues with uhaul personnel you call to fix something, they don’t call you back then give you grief when your not on time. I had told him if he would have returned any of the six calls all of which I left messages with he would have known what was going on.

Chad NPlease honor the time of pick-up, location and size of the truck when a reservation has been made. I made a reservation 1 month in advance from a U-Haul dealer location. When I call the day before pick-up to confirm, I was told there was no truck available in the size I reserved. A different truck would be available at a much later pick up time. The customer service representative at the dealership said I should call around to see what else would be available.
Cathy RAt 1st they said that truck had to be returned to another location but showed my paperwork for drop off location. The gentleman made a call and accepted the drop off. Not sure why Uhaul tried to change drop off location at last minute. This location handled it and took care of everything Thanks
MICHAEL LThere was one guy working the desk. He was very nice but there were a ton of people trying to get uhauls. Also, the whole process is tedious and time consuming. Way too many steps to get a U-Haul truck

Nancy HI received a vehicle I was paying $1100 for with 1/16 of a tank of gas. Therefore, the first thing I had to do was find a gas station so that I wouldn’t run the equipment out of fuel. This is a complete disservice to a customer. Then, your policy of me having to return it with a quarter of a tank of gas or I get charged a convenience fee is just ridiculous. Finally, the engine light was on when I got the unit and the smell of gasoline inside the whole back of the vehicle was very strong. I expected when everything was offloaded I would have the gasoline smell into all of the fabrics. I would recommend any option other than U-Haul for a similar move in the future I don’t expect that I would ever use U-Haul again for a vehicle if there are other options.
