Explain where the "Tow/Haul" button is; the truck dash light was on stating it could be turned off, but I had no idea where it was.

This rental experience has been the most distressing and unprofessional encounter I've ever had, not just with U-Haul, but with any moving company. Over the past 15 years, I've moved more than 10 times. The customer service representative at this location (Climatized Containers) was not only discourteous and unprofessional, but he also seemed to be on his lunch break and couldn't be bothered to assist a both I and another elderly lady. I was struggling with the U-Haul app to check out and find my truck. Since when does AI take the place of a real employee in helping customers? He was aware I needed help, yet he chose to turn off the lights inside the building as if I hadn't just seen him moments before. Additionally, I didn't receive the moving blankets and dolly in my truck. Due to the poor experience, I instructed the phone customer service representative to remove them from my order, and I decided to rent them elsewhere. If this location can't manage a truck order, I certainly wouldn't trust them to safeguard my belongings in a storage unit.

Joshua was very thorough and very professional about how his business and he took time out of his busy schedule and walked us to the vehicle hooked the trailer up to our vehicle and told us exactly what to return it very professional.

Opportunity for improvement: Make it explicit when booking online that there will also be a fuel cost (for those who are booking with U-Haul for the first time).

Rented a truck at 2000 Leander St. When I arrived, they told me they had the truck but not the appliance dolly I reserved. The employee there said I could pick up the dolly from this location and return it with the truck. However, when I got here, the lady told me I had to return the dolly back to her location — forcing me to make another unnecessary trip. She seemed almost happy to inconvenience me. Poor customer service. Would not recommend.the truck I rented was not clean. I rented this truck for 2 hours, and had to spend 30 minutes going out of my way to rent the dolly.

Best experience I’ve ever had at a U-Haul center. I’ve looked everywhere for the name of the gentleman that assisted us and all I could find is Salazar. Mr. Salazar was working the entire day by himself, but still took his time to offer us the best customer service ever! If I had a spot on my team to hire him, I would’ve asked. Keep this guy and move him up and to the right, he’s a true leader and a real gentleman.

The representative who was working yesterday who helped us, I cannot recall his name but our receipt was signed by "Salazar1982" which I believe is him, he was great! Excellent customer service and management of the office, remaining calm and organized despite it being crazy busy in the morning. He was so personable with each customer, so helpful, and it was obvious he genuinely cares and takes pride in providing quality service. He deserves a raise and recognition, you don't find people like this often and it's worth it to pour into the people like this who are really making a positive impact on your customers.

Where do I start, the young man came out the door yelling because I parked in the wrong spot. Since I never dropped off at the location and the lot was unique, I parked where I thought it best for the staff to drive the truck and trailer into the gate. Once I moved the truck and trailer and entered the door, the young man said what are you here for? Yes, that was my welcome, so I held up the keys and said to drop off the truth and trailer. His response was, "Leave the key and leave". Yes, that rude and unwelcoming. The look on his face made me so uncomfortable, I felt threatened, he looked with a very mean face, no smile, and a disdain for my presence. I was really caught off guard by this attitude and response. I tried to explain I brought the trailer as an incentive from U Haul and he went to loudly and angrily explaining that U Haul would take care of all that. At this point, I just felt so uncomfortable I turned to leave and as I got to the door, I thought maybe he needed some positivity today, so I said Hope you have a nice day. His response was a look of total hatred and disgust, he didn't part his lips just a mean hateful stare, and then he looked at his co-worker who sat there and said nothing (the whole time). I kept thinking if I saw him somewhere on the street he might try to harm me. I'm a 63-year-old lady and don't have the strength and agility to protect myself like I did in my early years. Most concerning about this whole situation is he knows my name and has my address. That is very unsettling.

This was by far the best experience I’ve had with U-Haul. I reserved the trailer online and got there a few minutes earlier that morning. I was welcomed with open arms even though the store wasn’t officially open yet. The staff member helping me was a super customer service representative. When I returned the trailer the next day, I received the same stellar service from another individual. Clearly this storefront is doing something right!! Thank yall very much!

had a very unpleasant experience with the person who checked me in today. He was extremely rude, telling me I was late and that they were closed, even though I arrived at 12:10. He also accused me of having a bad attitude and refused to let me pick up the vehicle. I believe this behavior is unacceptable, and I hope you can address this issue

Improve your customer service for returns. Customers don't need employees attitudes when they drop off trucks. They need the respect any customer would get. Learn how to speak.to people or get out of the customer service ice business all together.

I would have rated five stars but we did after-hours pickup at 7AM and the key box combination lock did not open. The wrong combination was set. Luckily a worker was there early and was able to look up the correct code so that we could retrieve our keys. Had he not been there, we would not have been able to pick up our truck on time.

Reserved truck for same day rental. Location pushed my pickup time out after I called and confirmed so the reservation would not cancel if I was late (great customer service). Truck was clean and overall in good condition. Was able to finish the job in a few hours and when I brought the truck back, the weekend manager accepted the keys and told he he would take care of processing my return. I received my bill via e-mail aobut 15min after that and everthing was correct. Overall, a very good experience.

Climatized Containers was a great spot. Josh helped this truck rental experience be very smooth. However I don't appreciate that UHAUL tends to change reservations (locations) once already selected and confirmed. That itself its horrible. Be clear about instructions.

This UhAul on Leander in Georgetown is my first choice for all my Uhaul truck rental needs. It's my 3rd time using them and they are always so friendly, personalable, and accommodating. I absolutely recommend ANYONE to drive that extra distance to use them if possible.
