My thoughts would be to let the customer know when they inquire about renting with U-Haul, (at least with this particular office), the process for DL verification. We are old school enough to not have a cell phone. The office did send us a link to scan the driver license-however-we were in the process of upgrading to an enchanced DL and the system would not allow a way to scan the paper copy of the enchanced DL. Fortunately, it went through, and we were able to complete our U-Haul rental.

TARA FThe lady at the counter was rude. She tried to force me to park on someone else's property. It is very difficult to park at the church next door because you can't cross over, you have to drive down the very busy road about 5 minutes and then take a left at the light and turn back. I have honestly never been told that I can't park in the parking space of a business I'm patronizing. When I returned, the lady was huffy that I requested a printed out receipt.
CHRISTINA DI made a phone call to book a U Haul truck and was told that she will have to look for a truck for me. So I was waiting for a call back from them.... No call back. When I finally called them again to see if they found a truck for me she said that she had texted me back. I think a phone call should be answered with a phone call unless you specifically say that you will send me a text when you find a truck. Just a thought!
SERA UI also haven't received am adjusted bill. We estimated 40 miles and only drove 23. I want an adjusted bill with the correct amount.

david oI know it is impossible to create more real estate, but better parking near the office. Susan, the office manager did suggest we use the parking spaces near the church next door. also, better signage about the insurance requirement for the storage unit.. It should be included in the first conversation when someone is asking about renting a storage unit. I was surprised you no longer needed to put down a security deposit; along with a specific amount per mile used. This is the first time in many , many years that we rented a uhaul truck. Used to be you could pay for the time needed and go as many miles you needed without worrying about the cost per miles.

Steve CI was warned when I picked up the truck that there was something going on with the door lock and it was true. While the truck drove well and had few issues. It needed some work to be maintained well. The Driver and Passenger outer door locks did not work well and were difficult to open with the key. The rear roll-up door was stiff towards the bottom, but once past that, it rolled up nicely. The equipment was clean, but they shouldn't give a dealer a truck with some of the issues mentioned above. What if the door had not unlocked?
Anthony MBe sure to inspect very carefully the exact true level of fuel on the paper work against the indicated on the instrument cluster. This truck overstated fuel level to be well above half tank, when in reality there was less than a quarter tank. The 34 mile I drove required 11 gallons to reach the level as indicated on paperwork. Contest any mistaken facts on the rental form
clay mTruck should do local routes only with 135,000 miles on it....but it did work run well for us
