The employee checking me in and out was knowledgeable, friendly, efficient and unflappable despite a slow computer, and other waiting customers.

DONALD HThe people you have working there at the front desk had no people skills or desire to interact with the customers on the day we rented. It was a very frustrating experience, as if no one knew what their responsibilities were. Please pay attention when I ask questions about the rental and please check us out promptly allowing us to pay when we return the truck. Do not tell me you are too busy looking at your screen to help me and we'll get a bill when we are the only 2 customers in the building. Your personal screen time can wait. First time we rented there and the last.

CLAIRE GThis location consistently has personnel issues they're either not open when they say they're going to be or they take long lunches at odd hours or there's some random shift meeting and when you are dealing with a help situation they have to help you pick the trailer and you can't drop the trailer off it's not self-service it's very inconvenient if they're not there when they're supposed to be

WALTER JI’ve returned four or five trucks over the last couple of years and in each instance the app freezes before the return is complete requiring follow up the next day to confirm that the return was successful.
Peter RCustomer service was very poor. The young guy working with glasses seemed to basically act very annoyed and not wanting to do anything to help. He said he checked over the truck, and it was good to go. I started to drive a few block only to hear the gas light go on. The truck was totally on empty. I called him to ask him how to go about this bc I don’t want to be charged for the other person not filling up the tank. He basically told me that’s impossible bc he checked it and it was half full. I took a picture and then also presented him with my gas receipt when I got back. He basically told me I need to call and figure it out with uhaul. I was very irritated bc this was not my fault and as customer service and it being his mistake, he should have called himself. I explained that I think he should talk to them and he just gave me this blank stare like he was super annoyed. Then he was like “well I guess I’ll just have to call since you don’t want to do it”. I found the whole situation to be ridiculous and he seemed like he didn’t want to do his job at all. Also, upon arriving back with the truck at 5:15pm, the door was locked and all the blinds were shut. The hours of operation say until 6pm. He must have saw me on camera and then opened the door for me. Prior to even going to that location to check for a truck, I called two times and no one answered the phone. When I got there he was just sitting there not doing anything. This guy was NOT a good employee I can tell you that much.
Shannon MThe UHAUL app makes the experience not worth while. The employee and location were perfect. The employee at the location went above and beyond. The app took over an hour and would crash after EVERY SINGLE STEP. I know that is not an acceptable UI issue. FIX IT!

KEITH BI loved the idea of app check in so we could get our truck before they opened. However, trying to sign in and check in was a NIGHTMARE! It took over an hour and 3 calls to customer services, in which I was told that since I was picking up later than I reserved that was why we were having problems (ie. it should never be the customers fault!)..... My other concern, if moving on Saturday is a HUGE day for customers, why isn't the store open at 7? a 9 am open time seems very inconvenient for customers. While I do love the idea of app check in, all the info should be taken 24 hours ahead of pick up, this would give the customer much less of a headache and make it easier on pick up day

I was not a fan of the U-haul driver's license app. that required photographing my driver's license and uploading it to a database waiting to be hacked. The app was finicky and required several attempts. I would have preferred the local Clover Basin office making a photocopy. But the service was great and the trailer helped get the job done. All in all a good experience.

Keith BEmployee took over 30 minutes processing my truck return. Didn't know how to input information in the computer, misplaced the truck key and had to call support to get me a receipt. The employees here need training

Jarrod RAfter driving a sum total of under 15 miles I had to add over 5 gallons of gas to top off the tank!! Came across as a sneaky rip off off but didn't have time to complain!
Eben GAppt scheduled 2 weeks in advance for 9 am pickup; no one was there until 9:30 (when the rep's plate says "LOLYGAG," you can't help but laugh at the irony), and the truck wasn't even ready. Truck was in poor condition, including doors that wouldn't shut properly, damaged box, and puking white smoke under power. Truck mileage wasn't right and reported gas tank reading was off. When truck was returned, rep "didn't even know we had a truck out." Everything worked out alright but not the type of experience I expected. Especially when I requested a different pickup location because the one I picked up from couldn't book my appt originally because they couldn't even get into their system (no training). Dropped the ball on this one, U-Haul.

Vincent RFirst location didn't have vehicle, renter hadn't returned on-time. They found a second location with vehicle 5 minutes away. Locations worked well with each other.
Wesley LThe location personnel were not onsite as per their stated hours. They did not answer phone calls nor text messages sent to them. It resulted in me having to make two trips to the facility and taking 1.5 hours to pick up a truck. The internet signal was also horrible. Given how many pictures have to be uploaded to checkout and checkin a truck, it took another 0.5 hour to do that each time. The experience was way too painful and time consuming with no on-site help available (and this was 9:30am on a weekday! ). I ended up having to call U-haul directly for them to help me.

Donna MI was charged more than was quoted to me for the trailer, somehow insurance got added. I had to call Uhaul, but they got the charge removed. Not sure who added the $8 insurance that I had already declined when I made the reservation online.
