Pickup location charged me full price AFTER booking online and being told you would lower price by $250 if I returned to a different location 30 miles from my home. Drop off location is a storage building with a locked gate and no employee. Then Uhaul app says if you leave it anywhere other than designated location you will be charged extra. But you did not tell me the drop off location does not open until 8 am so I was left with no choice but to leave it on other side of locked gate. Terrible experience
BENJAMIN FHe was extremely rude to me. Furthermore although I showed him my photos of mileage of the truck when I picked up and when I returned it to him which was only 8 miles difference (meaning I drove it 8 miles), he charged me for 20 miles of driving later. That’s insane and no way to understand. I will call customer service to get back the money for 12 miles. That was disgusting experience!!!

ahmet uFirst problem . . I reserved a dolly on the web site, which I needed but they did not have one. Next, the truck was not there when I arrived to pick it up, so I had to wait almost an hour until it was ready for me to take it.

Gary PCustomer service from workers who took my keys was horrible. Instead of checking gas level or mileage was at right amount the guy just said “yeah I’ll take care of it later don’t worry ”, after I had asked for a receipt of some sort for my personal reference. At the end he got confrontational because I looked upset due to the way he was talking to me. Am I supposed to look thrilled to receive bad customer service? Probably not. I wouldn’t recommend this drop off even if I got paid for it.
Omar ECheck in process was horrible here. The guy who handles it wasn’t even there. He was out playing soccer. The poor cashier didn’t know what to do and they were yelling on the phone at each other. Then when I finally spoke to him over the phone he was rude. Sebastian is the name?

Derek DThe truck came with 1/4 of it full of the prior moves' leftovers including a dining room set, luggage, and several boxes of misc items including fly-ridden food leftovers. When I called to complain no discount was offered for the inconvenience.
John BI had by far one of the worst rental experiences of my life at Clover Leaf Market. I was allowed to select Clover Leaf Market as a drop off location & complete the online drop off at the time of return only to find that this location does not allow after hours returns. I spoke with a U-Haul rep who instructed me to return the key the following day,. The next day I intended to return the key at a time that was convenient as I was still in the process of moving. However, an employee of this location accosted me via text/phone & attempted to pressure me into returning the key despite prior conversation with U-Haul stating I could return the key at any time. As tensions rose the employee stated "F*ck you. I have your credit card." To make matters worse, when I visited the location to the return the key, the employee & I exchanged words at which point he threatened me by saying "I have your information." I have never had a worse customer service experience. Do not give this location your business.
Keith NThe truck I was given was subpar. They gave us the worst truck available. I did not even have a utility ramp to load my things. I could feel the transmission strain while shifting as I drove the truck on the freeway. I am qualified to say this because I am an advanced level auto mechanic ceritfied smog technician qualified to test inspect and repair all vehicles in California.The attendant seemed put off like he had an issue with American Black. I witnessed his superb customer service skills when dealing with the white customers who came into the store. I guess so since he is arab he has issues with Black Americans. arabs had slaves and still do but this USA. That does not excuse his customer service towards me.. He was very rude and was late. I had a pickup time of 8:00am. He came in about 8:03 am. Time is money. This is unacceptable as we will no longer take a back seat to anyone. I feel I was overcharged on the mileage and I will not recommend this location to anyone.
Virgil WWebsite let me book for 12am return. Went to pickup location and was told I could not return between 10pm and 8am. Some of the tires in uhaul also needed air.

Melissa FCloverleaf was not the original place we were to drop off the truck. The first location was the SD Auto at 6th and Hawthrowne (new location; provided location was 5th and Grape). We tried to call without success when we could not find him. Finally we contacted your online folks and Stephanie was awesome. She called the dealer three times before she got through and got us the new location. We arrived at the new location 7 minutes before closing (would have been sooner if we had the correct address), but he was already closed even though Stephanie told him we were coming and reason for delay. We called your online folks again and we were rescheduled to the Cloverleaf who was super. I fully understand why the original site has such a poor rating. He should be dropped from your list of dealers. The rest of your team was absolutely outstanding and did everything they could for us. We greatly appreciate all that they did as did your rep at the Cloverleaf. He took care of us quickly and was very supportive.

ma rQuick and easy pick up. The staff at this location used their mobile phone to check me in. Only needed the truck for a short time. Clover Leaf is also a gas station which made it very convenient to replace the gas in the truck. Very friendly people.

Jennifer TVery rude agent who doesn't speak! Wanted to force me to buy gas from him. Grabbed my hand to take the key from me by force when I returned the truck. Made hate comments about my religion. No key dropbox outside. Made me feel very unsafe. I had to talk to the regional manager in order to safely return the key. This is by far the worst U-Haul experience I've ever had!

James WTrain the attendant on how to speak to customer. attendant message me past midnight about the vehicle. He was also rude when addressing me. truck was returned clean and with gas and he charged me cleaning fee. Truck was parked on Clover market property in front of the store and not on the street as there was no street parking that late at night. Owner did not specify NOT to park it on property once it was returned. I SAVED THE RUDE TEXTS HE SENT ME. HE IS AN ABSOLUTE PIG.

Jason Pthe self check-in did not work at all. I arrived and had to re-enter all of my information - and was asked to upload my contract, which U-haul already had. Then the equipment that I asked for was not ready and the shop owner had to go looking for the furniture dolly and furniture pads. Finally - I had to spend 10 minutes taking pictures and documenting the status of the truck. Had I rented from a standard U-Haul location - I would have just given my license and credit card and been out the door. I would not recommend this location or this process to anyone - it took 30 minutes.
Susan LThe gas looked like it had a little over half tank because it was parked on a decline and went I drove it it was 1/8 under half. Not a big deal for people but the amount of money to fill a uhaul vehicle ain’t cheap.

gregg MIt’s not this location or the employees. ITS ACTUALLY UHAUL THAT NEEDS TO GET ITS SHIT TOGETHER. You need to have a conversation with this location and GET THEIR OPENING HOURS RIGHT!! I paid for a 6:30am reservation- they don’t open till 7am!! AND THEN THE UHAUL 24/7 reservation I had wouldn’t let me check in till 8AM????!!!! What the f*!!!! Luckily, the gal overrided the uhaul huge time mistake and we could check out our uhaul at 7am. BUT STILL WE LOST 30mins and then an extra 15 minutes of our reservation FIXING UHAULS MESS!!!
