The owner made me add add ons i didn’t want like safe move, and refused to take them off. I simply drove the u-haul down the block 3 miles to get a mattress, bed frame, and tv stand, dropped it off at my apartment in the middle and drove the u-haul back. 8 miles round trip, i was met with a $70 charge instead of the $30 i had estimated online, when looking at the bill i saw multiple add ons I never accepted and when i talked to him about them he said “everyone needs these, i don’t rent my trucks without them.” but it had nothing to do with me or my rental it’s something he forces everyone to get. I am a bit furious about that, and will likely rent from home depot from now on to avoid this issue. it was very unprofessional and nearly doubled my cost for no reason.

Well it would have been.nice to have a cleaner rental as the interior and the exterior windows were pretty dirty but I made sure I cleaned both before I returned the vehicle. Also your app seems to only work as intended when the user has exceptional bandwidth and not work at all when connection is a lower bandwidth situation. That is the most frustrating part of the rental experience from the user side. Invest in a more robust and stable mobile app to work in all situations!
