The lady walked past us announcing a fee that I didn't need instead of talking to me. My passenger basically started a fight with her about it and I sincerely apologize for his behavior, but the lady that was there that morning (7/26) was also not even trying to be a customer service representative. The security of the facilities was what I expected and I felt safe storing my items there. However, I do have one major complaint. Your facility is next door to a pet cremation. The levels of ash I found inside my unit, completely covering my belongings was horrible and sad. Everything in the unit needed to be cleaned and somethings were ruined. I would have loved to be warned about this issue because it is preventable. You could have told me (or any costumer) that pet ashes entering units is a common issue and then I (and other costumers) can take measures to prevent this issue. When I picked up the uhaul it had half a tank of gas, it was dropped off with less but the drop off location charged me to fill up the tank when I got the truck with half a tank. I emailed the drop off location and receive no response at all!CANDACE B.

My son at last minute had to go to Texas and thus we had to extend the planned rental an extra day and ultimately an extra week. When I spoke with Raven of Colorado Springs scheduling office to extend the rental, she rudely stated that the trailer was to be rented out to someone else by noon. She then placed me on hold and upon her return, she announced that it would be an extra $40/day even though during my earlier 6/15/2020 conversation with her, Raven stated that the cost would be $25/day. Additionally, two other agents told me the same. When I told her that, Raven flatly refused to listen or delete the $40/day extra charge and said the total would be $65/day plus taxes. When I asked her to let me talk to her supervisor, she retorted "I am the manager in charge here, there is no one higher than me at this time". I reminded her that there was corporate structure to which she stated, "It doesn't matter, you will ultimately have to go through me as I am the person to whom they will send you and the charge will be recorded as $65/day. Raven was rude and appears to be accustomed to bullying customers with her managerial authority. I had to go through corporate U-Haul customer service to file an to appeal her charges. Because all conversations were recorded and reviewed, Raven's extra $40/day charges were dropped. Other than Raven 6/15 and one other time, I found everyone involved in the process to be extremely professional and helpful (Venessa 6/16, Kelly, Jyra 6/18, Monica 6/27, Vanita W-6/22). I would rent from U-Haul again but never have Colorado Springs, CO as a drop off location. Also, the drop off location was changed from the original one to the location on 330 Karen Lane without reason.Marie L.

The first issue is that my rental was confirmed for 5905 N Nevada Ave. However, Uhaul decided to move my reservation 15 MINUTES AWAY! to Karen Lane. This resulted in an extra hour for the moving company I hired to be charged as well as 8 miles of extra charges and of course gas cost and logistics on my end in my personal vehicle as well. This was a 100% painless experience. Tasha was so easy to work with, had exactly the truck I needed, and had me on m way in less than ten minutes. The price was much less than expected. The owner /Autorized dealer was a delight and very helpful and accomadated our specific needs Tue crew that is a sub contractor for uhaul thru Moving help was a complete joke and their performance laughable at best . They showed up 2.5 hrs late in a tire down camper hopped out smelling like booze. The first boxes out they dropped down the stairs breaking multiple things. Once loaded they did not secure load witch caused for my dresser to be permanently damage . And when they left. They didn't put slider back in and didn't come back to fix it. Witch resulted in more delays . On our way back to the unload location I waited for another 25 mins and my wife seen them parked in a close by alley and walked up and seen them smoking drugs. I wouldn't recommend these people they do not care about you stuff and should not be around kids . C &M. MOVING 2AS THE CREW . PLEASE WARCH OUT FOR THEREAnna E.

There was no appliance dolly which I had reserved. The staff first tried to send me to another location for the whole rental. I was dropped off there, so not a possibility. She then stated the district manager knew they had reservation for an appliance dolly, but did nothing about it. while i got 50 dollars off my rental, had to go to another location for the dolly, overall I lost about 90 minutes out of my day. Note the windshield was so streaked and dirty the washer fluid wouldn't clean it.Douglas C.

I made the reservation weeks before and spoke to an attendant. I called two day prior to pickup to modify drop off location. An attendant told me that they didn't have a trailer for me! In my concern, she just maintained that there was no trailer. She said that she call someone. I called the number that she was going to call (but she didn't) and that person said that there would be a trailer and that it was in the notes. I called back to the pickup location and explained that. She said, "oh there it is". REALLY!?!Martin G.

Agent was pleasant and accommodating, however, equipment was damaged. It was noted by a circled X. It was apparent there were repairs made to the location of the damage but they had long since come apart. I made repairs myself to prevent further damage and to prevent equipment from coming apart during use while in my custody. Chain rubber retaining bands were missing. I first ordered from the 5909 N Nevada location. I was called and told the trailer would be there the day of the rental. I showed up and was told they couldn't serve me and sent me to Karen Rd. I spent an hour waiting for paperwork at Karen road before I left. The next morning I loaded my car and could not strap it on without damaging the fender/front wheel well. This Karen location was nice and the lady was very customer oriented but I reserved my trailer at "R" Rock Yard in Monument and got passed off to the Karen location, 19 mi vs 3 mi each way. Took 3 trips to "R" Rock Yard and some firm verbiage from me to get the reservation secured. I definitely would not recommend "R" Rock Yard for any rental needs.CHRIS H.
The only negative was that I was overcharged because my unit was not checked in on time. This could have been my fault as well and the center manager was very helpful and responsive. I believe this issue will be resolved and I will get my over charges refunded.Anthony T.
