The staff were very personable...they delivered my boxes to my truck and had me in and out in no time at all... Great location...easy drop off after hours.

I first ordered from the 5909 N Nevada location. I was called and told the trailer would be there the day of the rental. I showed up and was told they couldn't serve me and sent me to Karen Rd. I spent an hour waiting for paperwork at Karen road before I left. The next morning I loaded my car and could not strap it on without damaging the fender/front wheel well. My family decided to drive the car instead of damage it.

Inspect the tires. Ours was bald and bulging when we noticed them. Dry rotted.

U-Haul rental shares location with a storage facility, making the entrance area cramped and hard to return a trailer

Trailer was older, rear latch and pull strap old and rusty. Unit should been pressure washed inside to clean out

I was sent to three different locations to get set up because the technicians were not certified to hitch up my rental!

This Karen location was nice and the lady was very customer oriented but I reserved my trailer at "R" Rock Yard in Monument and got passed off to the Karen location, 19 mi vs 3 mi each way. Took 3 trips to "R" Rock Yard and some firm verbiage from me to get the reservation secured. I definitely would not recommend "R" Rock Yard for any rental needs.

The only negative was that I was overcharged because my unit was not checked in on time. This could have been my fault as well and the center manager was very helpful and responsive. I believe this issue will be resolved and I will get my over charges refunded.

My reservation was at a different location and 30 minutes before pickup I was notified that my reserved truck had been given to a walk-in. Of course, another truck wasn't available so I was re-directed to a different location. NOT HAPPY!!!

Number one safety thing for driving at night is to make sure the damn lights work! The woman who rented it to me was behind supposedly checking while I went thru brake lights, turn signals and what not. Was told that everything worked. Double checked myself that night and of course everything worked except the running lights and of course it's New Years Eve, nobody to answer calls. Ended up just driving during the day but that is so basic that there's no reason they shouldn't have been checked and working before being put out for rent again! Pretty sad. Lance.

When we arrived the employee had not gathering up the 84 blankets we ordered. She first said they didn't have that many and we'd have to go elsewhere to get the rest. Then she changed that and had to get the blankets from 2 locations, and 2 trips by golf cart to get the remainder of the blankets. The truck cab had water on the floor that had to be wiped up. It took an house at this store to get the blankets, truck and paperwork. This was totally unacceptable as we had movers coming to our house and needed to get out quickly. We would never use this location again.

The people who work there are very nice and helpful, but it is not at convenient to rent there as it is at the larger location on Nevada. The hours are not as convenient, and it is trickier to attach trailers to trucks at this location.

My truck was diverted there from Nevada avenue. When they called and said it would be ready at 0930, instead of 0900, it still never got there. I had to take a taxi to East ColorSo Springs, 10 miles away. I was told the truck had 1/2 tank of fuel in it. It had 1/4 tank. Then I drove 10 miles back to Karen Lane to get the trailer and dolly. I asked about the oil service light remaining on. The checked all the fluids and they were good. Said I was good to go. Turned on the AC in Alberqurkque. The truck over heated and the transmission service light came on as the truck got hot. Truck was not even 2/3 full of boxes and furniture. 18 miles north of Truth or Consequenses, I pull over before the truck thermostat reads into the red zone. I called roadside assistance. I waited inside the truck with two ninety lb labs for seven hours in 90 degree heat. I am not allowed to take them in Burger King or the gas station to cool them down. We are from the mountains of Colorado where there is no air conditioning. It's not needed. We were heat exhausted. I still have a headache today. I thank the mechanic who work hard to get us on the road. There is still something wrong with the truck. The turn in point reported the truck needing repair.

They did not open until 9:00 on a Saturday when people need to start moving early! there was only one person to process the order and some of the pads were missing.

A more obvious sign at the turn would help; Karen Ln. is kinda hidden.
