I saw a small advertisement in the van that stated you receive a free month's rent for storage space if you rent the van. We did so, but no one mentioned the first month's free rental advantage. That may be because two different family members transacted with the storage facility. The space was reserved the day before we rented the van. Is it possible that we could still receive the first month's storage fee free offer? Thanks.

I used the online pickup for the rental truck. It took me almost an hour, stood in front of the key lockbox, before I got the key out. The process are not intuitive, and there was no online instructions. Very confusing. I will not use it again.

Need to have the person renting the equipment go over the equipment for eccentricities. I am not familiar with Ford products.

The app is terrible, and booking shouldn't give you the option to deal with servicing over the counter if you're just going to force someone to use the terrible app.

The office was locked with a hand written sign saying “will be back at 2:45.” My pickup time was 2pm and I waited for service for over an hour. My truck was also not out front as directed. I was told to drive around the building to the caged area to find my truck. The employee was extremely unprofessional and did not even apologize for blowing off my pickup time. Because the employee was not at the location I missed other pickup appointments and had others waiting elsewhere. I will not be returning to this location and will be looking at other alternatives for truck rental during a move.

The service was great! It may seem petty, but the mileage on the truck was 1 mile less than what the contract said. Overall everything was exceptional.

I think it is only fair to point out checking a truck back in has to be done by cell ph or additional 20.00 will be added to the bill. Everything else was pointed out except that.

The pic up process with the app is much worse than advertised. With apps, and photos, and calling a friend, and a van with no blankets but McDonald's garbage. I'll rent from someone other than U-Haul next time.

Maybe you can pass along this note to the correct person -- I have always provided my drivers license when renting a van at the Compass facility. Last Friday I was required to allow my drivers license to be copied into the system. I was told this was to prohibit van theft and was a new U-Haul policy. I was very uncomfortable with this new arrangement and may need to make other arrangements not with U-Haul in the future due to this new policy.

I was charged for not folding the furniture blankets, which had not been explained when I asked for blankets and there was nothing in the contract about it. When I asked to get blankets, I was told that there were six blankets in the truck that I would be charged for using them when I returned the truck. At that moment it would have been appropriate to explain that they needed to be folded to avoid additional charges, similar to the manner in which gasoline fill up charges were explained. When I called to inquire about it, I was told that there was a sign in the truck regarding use of the blankets that I was supposed to read. Other than that, the customer service was excellent.

One of the best UHaul experiences I've ever had. The staff at Compass Self Storage was friendly, helpful, and made the entire process easy and pain free.The truck overall was in great condition, and was noticeably well maintained. Will DEFINITELY rent from these folks again! Five starts plus!

Came back with rental , just to find a sign saying they were out to lunch . Inform the customer ahead of time that they will be taking a lunch break at certain time . Not leave you waiting on them to return .If your going to have posted hours of operation [ Then FOLLOW THEM ]

Setup rental online for full service Uhaul center on north rochester rd. I called the location the day before the rental and found out my pickup location was changed to self storage center on Avon rd. When picked up truck they only had 12 of the 24 pads i ordered. The also don't stock the uhaul wardrobe boxes i needed. Had to go to 2 different uhaul locations to get the pads and boxes. It rained later in the day and i dicovered the wiper blades we worn and wouldn't clear the windshield. Had to return to uhaul for replacement blades. While loading truck that evening, discovered dome light in back of truck was burned out. Since uhaul was closed, had to use flashlight to load. On return of truck, was charged for being over about 40 miles. Most of that was going to uhaul locations to get what I ordered/needed/maintenance issues. Overall i feel this is more of a overall uhaul corporate process issue, than an issue with a specific location. Would not recommend uhaul as a company.

sore need to have U-haul board outside, so that customer can recognize the store from far off. Secondly I was suppose to get a call from U-haul confirming my pick up. However no one called neither I got $50 that was guaranteed in case I do not get a call.
