They were unaware that we would be returning the truck to this location despite the notifications to me to drop off here. Staff were very understanding though and happy to accommodate despite the confusion.

Maybe you can pass along this note to the correct person -- I have always provided my drivers license when renting a van at the Compass facility. Last Friday I was required to allow my drivers license to be copied into the system. I was told this was to prohibit van theft and was a new U-Haul policy. I was very uncomfortable with this new arrangement and may need to make other arrangements not with U-Haul in the future due to this new policy.

I was charged for not folding the furniture blankets, which had not been explained when I asked for blankets and there was nothing in the contract about it. When I asked to get blankets, I was told that there were six blankets in the truck that I would be charged for using them when I returned the truck. At that moment it would have been appropriate to explain that they needed to be folded to avoid additional charges, similar to the manner in which gasoline fill up charges were explained. When I called to inquire about it, I was told that there was a sign in the truck regarding use of the blankets that I was supposed to read. Other than that, the customer service was excellent.

One of the best UHaul experiences I've ever had. The staff at Compass Self Storage was friendly, helpful, and made the entire process easy and pain free.The truck overall was in great condition, and was noticeably well maintained. Will DEFINITELY rent from these folks again! Five starts plus!

Came back with rental , just to find a sign saying they were out to lunch . Inform the customer ahead of time that they will be taking a lunch break at certain time . Not leave you waiting on them to return .If your going to have posted hours of operation [ Then FOLLOW THEM ]

Setup rental online for full service Uhaul center on north rochester rd. I called the location the day before the rental and found out my pickup location was changed to self storage center on Avon rd. When picked up truck they only had 12 of the 24 pads i ordered. The also don’t stock the uhaul wardrobe boxes i needed. Had to go to 2 different uhaul locations to get the pads and boxes. It rained later in the day and i dicovered the wiper blades we worn and wouldn’t clear the windshield. Had to return to uhaul for replacement blades. While loading truck that evening, discovered dome light in back of truck was burned out. Since uhaul was closed, had to use flashlight to load. On return of truck, was charged for being over about 40 miles. Most of that was going to uhaul locations to get what I ordered/needed/maintenance issues. Overall i feel this is more of a overall uhaul corporate process issue, than an issue with a specific location. Would not recommend uhaul as a company.
