KELLEE MThe $25 cleaning fee was BS - I spent 30 minutes sweeping out the van...it was at least as clean as when I picked it up. $25 for a bit of sawdust is simply nicking your customer for more just because you can. I guess everyone does it these days so why should I expect you to be any different? Aside from that the rental was satisfactory and served my purpose.
MICHAEL PMy customer service person told me to just drop the keys in the box when I bought my van back after hours. She never said I should check in online. Therefore I was charged $20 extra to have someone read the mileage from my trip that was no more than 20 miles. They should have explained at check in that I needed to check out online, I'm dissatisfied with that, therefore will not recommend your services. If she had told me this at check in I would've understood the online checkout. It's not ok to deceive a customer:

MOHAMMAD Sthe rental is supposed to be for a whole day.However, I was told if I returned it after my estimated time, which was only 2.5 hours, I would have to pay for an extra day of rental. I found that exploitative and unfair. Therefore, I said I would use it all day even if I returned it only after 3 hours. I understand that you want to make the most out for your vehicles and make them available for other possible clients who would want to use them the same day, but there has got to be a better way than charging customers who return late. Maybe giving a few hours of leniency.
BERENICE LThe truck was great . But the agent Rayner, was amazing. I had misplaced the truck keys. He was prompt to help and go out of his way to help me. He also helped with renting a storage unit . Honestly, he made the whole process easy . He was so friendly and knowledgable . I would absolutely recommend U haul to anyone.

Matt KSelf checkout took almost 1 hour and several calls to tech support. The account kept getting locked. The process requires updating phone settings to allow camera and location data. App doesn’t work at all. Have to use safari. Low cellular data near store. Just a mess…self checkout needs to allow a valid driver who is not the account holder. Otherwise self checkout becomes almost impossible.
Richard HBrittany was excellent! The truck did show while on my way from Rochester to Flint that the tire pressure was low ??? But had no issues.
Cynthia Athe customer service was friendly and quick. The key holder was not working correctly. The brakes were not in good working order.

Evelyn EThe drop off closes at 2 in the afternoon. It was very confusing for me to verify what I needed to do to drop the truck. The E-mail recipient on my phone was such small print I couldn’t read what was needed. In person service until 5pm is what I expected.The return was trouble free , but my worries about a penalty or some other issues over night were constantly on my mind. I wish they had longer ( retail like) hours Monday through Friday!
Daniel NI drove 7.6 miles, started the truck 4 x but never left it idling and was charged for 10 gallons of gas. That is absurd. The location had one close gas station, a tiny Speedway on a high traffic intersection. I was ripped off. This truck must have a mechanical issue if this trip used 10 gallons. Place closed early (2pm) so I was subject to self checkout with no recourse for the fuel charge.
Michelle PWonderful staff who answered all my questions and offered some advice too. Been going to this location for the last 6 years or so only because of their honesty and treatment to customers! Thank you!

Vignesh kI had to wait 15 minutes for customer service to call me back because the website would not recognize that I was at the location. The service rep suggested several tips that failed. I finally downloaded the app which then finally allowed me to retrieve my rental van. I also found the return to be too time-consuming and outdated.

Mary CWe were in an accident and were not at fault. The other driver barley blew under the legal limit. I paid for the coverage on the rental YET I was charged more fees on top of the overall price. I called the number customer service had given me FIVE TIMES and even left a voicemails requesting call back and received nothing. Now today I have gotten a letter dated December 3rd in the mail asking for more insurance information despite having already providing such and within this letter it states if we do not return this letter within 10 days we will be sued!?! I am going to discourage my fellow healthcare professionals from renting from uhaul for their frequent moves.

JOHNNY QLocation was one hour from where we had requested our rental. The reservation process is flawed and not customer friendly. I had to spend 1.5 hours on the phone (at my initiative) to even find a vehicle despite having made a reservation weeks in advance.

Karen DI can't tell you how thoroughly pleased I was with you all. The van was fantastic it only took 10 minutes to check out Audrey was wonderful. I liked everything so much I wanna head and rented a storage unit. I highly recommend you guys. Oh one other thing; I rented the cloths to put around my items and the bundles were only five dollars that incredibly reasonable price took me over the top. I'll forever be a customer!

Kim Bthe truck was dirty. it has so many bugs on the windshield and allover. i doubt that they even did the disinfection for covid-19. very bad experience with driving the truck as it had lot of vibration and noise.

Paul MI saw a small advertisement in the van that stated you receive a free month’s rent for storage space if you rent the van. We did so, but no one mentioned the first month’s free rental advantage. That may be because two different family members transacted with the storage facility. The space was reserved the day before we rented the van. Is it possible that we could still receive the first month’s storage fee free offer? Thanks.
Sharon CI used the online pickup for the rental truck. It took me almost an hour, stood in front of the key lockbox, before I got the key out. The process are not intuitive, and there was no online instructions. Very confusing. I will not use it again.

MAANSI KThe office was locked with a hand written sign saying “will be back at 2:45.” My pickup time was 2pm and I waited for service for over an hour. My truck was also not out front as directed. I was told to drive around the building to the caged area to find my truck. The employee was extremely unprofessional and did not even apologize for blowing off my pickup time. Because the employee was not at the location I missed other pickup appointments and had others waiting elsewhere. I will not be returning to this location and will be looking at other alternatives for truck rental during a move.
