I booked a dolly and blanket along with the truck. Just to find out they don't have it a that location after I get there.. they don't provide it due to covid!!! Seriously..if that was the case..why would other locations have it...ad do they sanitize the trucks..before I rent it...don't think so It just made my moving..harder

I am very disappointed with this rental , it was not what I expected, first I arrive to this location at 9 am, the office was open into 9:15 employee at this places was a women very nasty attitude, i ask simple cuestión I am here to pick up my rental, well you have to do over the phone or call the number is out side everything what I said is posted at the door, she basic throw me out at the office under a rainy day , I call the main number 3 time I never get answer Thus was very dusty, wipers don't work properly , doors security lock don't work , I have to buy one to lock the door, leaking water all over my stuff , this Thea worst experience I ever have I do not recommending this side

My 9' van was fine except for an two indicators which signaled “ needs oil change soon “ and “ add air in left rr tire “ . The tires looked fine but I worried about this the whole 4 hours I had it . I was on the highway. When I returned the van and reported it the associate told me “ oh yeah we knew about that .”Would have been nice to know .

When I initially picked up a truck, it had warning alerts that 1 tire had low pressure, and it also needed oil. I was told by the agent in the office that it had been checked 3 times and it was a faulty wire. That caused me some concern as I was driving approximately 600 miles with the vehicle. Evidently during the week while I had the truck, there was some type of emergency that shut down the rental location. I was never contacted and told about this or advised to drop off at a different location. I showed up at my scheduled time to return it on Sun Oct 18th, and spent over 2 hours trying to get the truck returned. I had to make over 5 calls to your service area, each with at least a 10 minute wait time before I was able to speak to someone, and I was mis-directed twice to the wrong service group. Your "share" app did not work either to allow me to return the vehicle through my phone. I continually received error messages that it could not locate this particular location. All in all, a terrible customer service experience and I will likely not use u-haul or this facility again in the future. Please contact me if you would like to discuss further. The check in processing took way to long. It should not take 45 minutes for approval. There is no reason to have to verification from 2 outside sources. It going to make me think of other options when renting a truck or van going forward.

We ordered moving blankets and none were provided. I should have been made aware of that ahead of time. The sign-in process is very complex. Took 25 minutes!! Otherwise, all went well. The staff we dealt with were very helpful.

They gave me a van that was filthy inside and outside(during pandemic). Tire pressure light light was on. I go inside to tell them and the female worker tells me not to worry about it. I had to spend extra time in the parking lot sanitizing van and taking pictures due to the vehicle being unsanitary upon receiving the van. Customer service was terrible. I will not visit that location again nor will I recommend it to others.

Experience was horrible. The truck was clean, and that is where the good part ends. The oil light was on. The truck was terrifying to drive so I called UHaul for assistance. I sat on hold for almost 2 hours. Instead of connecting me to roadside assistance, support connected me back to the end of the line to speak to support. The roadside assistance employee expected me to check the oil in the vehicle. This is completely in acceptable. I paid to pick up a truck in good condition, use it and return it. It was barely drivable, and made horrible noises going over 55 mph. The overall experience was awful.

My experience was wonderful! Kristen at Compass was very helpful and answered all of my questions and I had quite a few! I will definitely use Uhaul from the Compass location again in the very near future as I have 2 storage clean units to clean out.

Inform the customer of the "extra" charges not mentioned, i.e. "NJ Domestic security fee" (you've got to be f-ing KIDDING me) and "environmental" fee (again - you've gotta be joking! )

you must notify customers if you cannot provide equipment on their order. I wanted moving blankets. When I showed up to get the truck they told me they can't provide blankets at that location. If u tell me prior to pickup, I have a chance to make other plans. The day of leaves me in a really bad spot.

Vanessa was not interested in being helpful with my question when I asked for assistance on the prompting for my pick up. The vehicle was NOT clean. I had to drive it home and use a disinfectant cleaner in the cab all over as well as Windex the filthy front window interior. I also cleaned the side windows so I could see clearly. The floor was very dirty.I had to put down a towel to place my purse and lunch bag. In this time of covid I was really surprised at the lack of cleanliness and concern.

The mobile experience was very challenging. If locations services is not on - the app stalls. Then you have to add contacts literally at the time you are trying to pick up the truck. Would be good to know you are going to need about 15 to 20 mins. to pick the truck up to go through all the steps

The pick up took over an hour in the automated system, even with online help. The driver was different from my reservation; even though I had input all the driver information, the system was unable to find the reservation. It took manual intervention online for the system to relate driver, driver phone and text to the reservation number. I would never recommend this kind of pick-up; nothing to do with the location, but with the automated pre-sign up and inability to match to the reservation.

Wow! That was a very difficult process and if I had a little guidance about to expect it would have helped. All the pictures I had to take, I couldn't get the process to work at first because I didn't have my settings set properly on my phone, and it was just a very rushed experience and not customer friendly. Horrible and I won't be doing that again. I've rented U-hauls in the past and I had no problems. Very easy and laid back experience each time. This was ridiculous.

Check in and check out process is cumbersome and too long. Why not use the person onsite instead of doing everything on the app. It took too long.

Ordering took more than an hour. Pick up even longer. Phone call on hold 11 minutes the started speaking to customer service i was rerouted back to the cue. Tried chat. More than a 20 minutes sending messages. No response. Noted van was dirty whn I picked it up. Took pictures .included a used tissue. When reported is wasn't clean when I returned it. Was charged $25 for cleaning. I wonder how many more people were charged for cleaning without it ever being cleaned. Will never use or recommend U Haul again.

The website was a nightmare for picking up and dropping off the truck. I had a horrible experience with regard to that aspect of this. The location and the van were great. App and website needs work!

The U-Haul service itself was great, app and the process was very easy and convenient! I have never rented, used, or driven a truck like this before. That being said my only issue was when I dropped the truck off. The parking area for the trucks was very small, and in order for the truck to fit I would have had to back in. I was afraid to even attempt this so I figured pulling in forward would have to do. For such a large truck (20') and such a small parking area, the back end of the truck was slightly askew and as I expected, sticking out a bit. I felt bad leaving it this way so I went into the office nervously to let them know I was struggling to park. They abruptly asked if I had completed the return process. I said I hadn't yet because I was more concerned about the parking job. They told me to complete the return and that they would fix the parking. The way they had handled this conversation so far felt not only unfriendly, but as if I was inconveniencing them to even come in there with my issue. After completing the return process I popped back in to check if they'd like me to bring the keys directly to them instead of dropping in the box, thinking I was being considerate to do so—again I was feeling very uncomfortable about the way the truck was parked! Again, they abruptly told me to drop the keys in the box as if I was wasting their time with such a question. It would have taken nothing away for them to be a little friendly, or possibly even empathetic. I would use U-Haul services again, but I would definitely not go to this location - god forbid someone needs assistance.

Service was disgusting. When I first walked in, two staff members we sitting and did not even acknowledge me. I finally said, excuse me , I would like to rent a U-Haul truck. They pointed at the window and said "read the sign". I found out by reading that I would need to reserve the truck on my phone. I went back to ask them a question and be fore I even completed my sentence, the man said "call the 1-800 number". I tried to ask them another question and he said again "call the 1-800 number". I can go on and on about the extremely poor service but I hope you understand just how bad of an experience it was. The other bad experience I had was with the whole on-line process. I had to log out and start all over 4 times. I was also on the phone with a rep, who by the way was very customer service oriented" he agreed that there were issues with the process and stayed on the phone with me for about 1 1/2 hours. One of the issues I had with the on-line process was that I chose the $14 insurance (it read, most popular). after I clicked it, then a description of what it actually covered appeared. After reading it, I decided that I did not want the insurance. When I clicked on the button to remove it, nothing happened. I tried many times even with the help of the rep. Bottom line, I was charged with the service that I did not want. I WOULD LIKE A REFUND FOR THE $14. Again, I can go on and on about the poor service and on-line experience. my experience was horrible due to the fact that my email reservation sent me to the wrong location. I was on hold with customer service twice and if it wasn't for the last lady who spoke to me and figured out I was at the wrong location I don't know if I would ever do this again through the app. Between the emails and the app it needs to get straight. I waited in a parking lot for an hour before everything got straighten out before I finally got to the right destination where the van was located. I don't wish that upon anyone.

The people from there don't have anything as Courtersy. We all know the Covid 19 situation but , @ least the six feet distancing should processed in order to give directions , step to folliw on line for those who not capable to picking up and dropped off.

The truck was gross, it smelt like smoke. The back of the truck was filled with broken glass. The process to get the truck was very frustrating. The truck also had barely any gas. This was the worst experience I've had renting a uhaul. I will never use this location again. I am very disappointed, especially for spending the amount I did

With this new system I would not recommend uhaul at all. My 75 yr old father had the worst time trying to pick up the van. This is not a good system for the older community who is not into using the internet

Easier way to rent without never wanting to experience what I paid alot to go through and a truck that does'nt have me worried the whole time if it's gonna break down as well as customer service that tells you very little to nothing of what to expect in the process of renting so to avoid again what I went through which was a really bad experience for my first time using UHaul.

The mobile check-in and check-out takes way too long, especially the having to take all the photos. Also--nothing to do with this location--I ordered blankets from Uhaul, was charged for them, but they never arrived in the mail. My mattress covers did arrive in the mail though.

The truck was In terrible shape. Beat up and with very little gas. The steering wheel kept pulling to the left. The brakes were bad. And it took forever to log on and get the keys. Overall a terrible experience

We returned the truck late due to circumstances beyond our control and the lady that works the front desk called and threatened to report the truck stolen and was very nasty.

Cab of our truck was a disgusting, sticky mess. The truck drove horribly. Really need to check the transmission. Thank goodness we weren't going too far, because that was one scary ride! Back of the truck was not cleaned out so we had to sweep it and take the garbage out of it before we loaded our stuff in it, as well as sweep it afterwards. Not happy at all!
