MELVIN BUsed compass 2 years in a row at this location. This is the first time to rent a U-Haul truck and it was fantastic. Than you Compass storage for making a move less stressful.

Maya BNot double charge customers.when truck was only for 9 hours. Fix your gas gauge filled the tank to half at service station but unless truck is moving the gas gauge doesnt show half tank and the representative will charge you extra for gas.

JEFFREY MContract #80202808 My Son returned the U-Haul to the Compass Self Storage of Kennesaw at about 10:30 5/8/2024. At 12:45 I received a charge of $1.20 to my visa card. I called & spoke with a lady named April at 1:10 pm. I inquired about the $1.20 she said it looks like a Florida State Tax. If I didn’t agree with it, I could call U-Haul. Then I asked when I would receive my refund for the extra day I prepaid for, because the Haines City dealer said it would be refunded when the truck is turned in. I confirmed that my son had turned in the truck at about 10:30am she agreed, I told her I noticed that the receipt said it was turned in at 12:45pm. She said that didn’t matter she knew he was there at 10:30am (the boy with the bird on his shoulder). She proceeded to tell me that I needed to call the Haines City dealer & ask for a refund. I told her I was busy with patients & I would call them in the morning. 5/9/2024 10:43am I called Tropical Multi Services U-Haul Haines City and spoke with Steve. Told him what April had said about him refunding the extra day not used. He said that when she checks it in the U-Haul system should refund the extra day. He recommended that I call her back or call U-Haul directly. I chose to call April back at 10:50am, no one answered. I left a detailed message with my contact information. I waited until afternoon on Friday May 10th for a returned call. 5/10/2024 This afternoon between my patients. I am composing this email to you. My concern is April does not understand how the U-Haul system works. If she does, I am really concerned she is taking advantage of customers on not check items in, as the are returned. I would think you (U-Haul) have the technology to see where the truck is and maybe a policy for cameras in the rental locations to back up when items are returned. I would like the extra rental day returned to my credit card. I sent this complaint to your email. I have still not had anyone from U-haul call me about a refund. It's been a week. I will call my credit card company next week to dispute my charges. If I don't have someone contact me by Tuesday.

Donald MPlease test drive the trucks before renting them to people. The truck I had would barely go to second gear. The RPMs would go between the 2 and 3 and the truck still hadn’t changed to second gear. Talk about the absolute worst anxiety. I drove with the emergency flashers on. I did let April at the location know about the issues with the trust. She assured me that she would get it checked out. She is very kind, professional and their office is well kept, as well as their grounds.
LAURISE TThe information on the paperwork was incorrect and the person renting the van didn’t want to change it. I was given bad information and mislead. I took the van anyway because I was in a hurry. The gas hand was at 3/4 of a tank and not full. I was told I would get a credit back for what I paid in gas. But never received that information in writing. This is another horrible experience with uhaul in less than 12 months.
Keisha BApp was not working when we were picking up truck. We had to call to call center for them to fix it from their end. The agent that needed to approve the pick up said DL was matching and kept us trying to doing it all over again just to say at the end that indeed was matching. We wasted a lot of time trying to pick that truck up. Location was not the problem.

Joe WThe employee, April, was very pleasant and helpful. The U-Haul app has a map function which directs you to the wrong location. April helped me over the phone to the correct location and was apologetic about the map error. She said she would report it for correction along with getting the two minor vehicle problems I encountered fixed.
gary hThe online check-out was not working. Also, if it had been working, I was not sure how I would get in the entry gate to get to the truck. Fortunately, there was someone in the office who handled the check-out.

Steven SI have used your service 2 times before recently and was very pleased with the experience. Mary Ann was very professional, respectful and kind. That is why I went back. However, my experience yesterday was the total opposite. The salesperson was not very friendly. She told me the truck was close to full of gas and to bring it back full. I did not understand what she meant by that, so I took a picture of where the gas needle was, and it was just a little over half tank. We drove the truck less than 5 miles and put $10 worth of gas it. When I received my receipt, she charged me $20 for 4 gallons of gas! I called and complained and asked her to remove the gas charge. She hanged up the phone on me. This is not a good look for your company because you are losing a customer, and I will dispute the charges. I have a receipt for the exact same trip last week and it is different. What a shame for so little money! She is your area sales manager. I recommend getting rid of such a mean person. plus, this is theft! Thank you.

Clayton DShouldn't change the location when it was confirm. My pick up location was in acworth [Baker] not Kennesaw. There was a truck parking in Baker. I had a call saying there was none?? Now I had to pay someone to drop me off. In kennesaw 😒

Anita RMake it easier in directions to get in & out. I couldn't find the code to open the gate. Someone on the inside opened the gate after several minutes of me trying to figure it out on the app. Overall excellent location, ladies inside very helpful. Very clean lot. Easy in & out.
