I thought I paid a lot for in- state move I charged for 3 days $244.00 I only need 2 days. Then to full truck was $66 total of $310 for 2 hr drive. I did get insurance and 2 equipmentDominique W.

It was very easy and pain free to get the vehicle after hours and get moving the approval process was within two minutes of submitting and had a person to talk with while waiting. My only thing was when I returned it the website was being stupid and would not let me submit a picture of miles and fuel and made me late for work if anything needs to be improved it would be the app and website.Benjamin S.
I had to pick up the truck at Ojay's Auto Detailing 1623 Royall Ave. Goldsboro, NC 27534. Mr. Langley Ordaniu is excellent. Service and his willingness to answer all my questions was remarkable. If you want to smile all the time while in the process of checking in for renting a rent you should definitely see Mr. Langley. I would go to this place again if I need to rent a truck in the future. The person at Compass Self Storage guided us with how to attach the tow dolly. He was great and very patient.Ingrid R.

This location was great, but my overall experience was not enjoyable. First, what's the point in confirming a reservation if your staff can change my location, causing me to pay more mileage? Why did I have to pay for 7 miles more? Another, why do I have to pay a convenience fee if I dont check in the truck myself? I'm not employed with you, isnt that your job to check in equipment? Your customer service line is also a complete joke, as well as the chat help. Neither helpful and an hour wait just to be told they can cancel if I'm not wanting to pick up at the further away location. I was also stuck taking a larger truck, what makes me really mad is they said they had no smaller ones, yet we pulled up and 4 smaller trucks were sitting right there. And still there the next day. I'll think hard before bothering with all this headache. But that particular location didnt do wrong, it's just your whole company BS that's wrong.Kenneth M.

The cargo area of the truck was clean, the exterior and the cab not so much. The cab is the main concern it had food and something sticky in the cup holder area and the windshield had while spots all over it, upon me cleaning it, the spots were on the inside. The front tires had some wear on the outside of the tread not enough to blow a tire but enough to cause some vibration at higher speeds (balance and rotate?) Employees knowledgeable and friendly. Informed renters they have to go to uhaul.com return,to do questionnaire at location when dropping off truck before leaving because you have to be at location to do itPeoples is interesting in getting truck and moving their items and that along is hefty.Then trying to get truck back with gas at range where they picked it up from back in.Not really aware of drop off info.Just making sure truck got gas,park,lock and key returned.Peoples is tired after all that moving.Maybe this is because of covid 19.TERESA D.

The inside of the truck was filthy. With the current COVID-19 pandemic I expected the truck to be cleaned and wiped down but it was not. After picking up the truck I had to stop at the nearest store to buy some cleaning wipes to clean it and it was unbelievable what I was able clean off of surfaces in the truck.STEVEN T.

The employee at the location lied to me about the ability to drop off the equipment at any location in Raleigh because there was no drop off location defined. I called to ensure I could drop it off and spent a total of an hour on the phone trying to get a drop off location defined. I also spent an hour at the location because the reservation I made on the phone before arriving (had problems) and I had to wait while it was cleared for me to take the equipment. So two hours waisted of my time already.Chris H.

I had a 6:00 pickup by phone but arrived about 6:45 and could not pickup. I called customer service and after a 10 minute hold the agent came on and said that because I was delayed I could not pick up by phone. I was not aware of that policy. She was able to reset my time and I could do the phone pick up, but I was delayed. If I'd known I could have called earlier and not have been so delayed.TERRY G.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. TOOK THEM FOREVER TO PICK UP THE UHAUL EVEN THOUGH I HAD ALREADY REGISTERED. SHE SAID THE COMPUTERS WERE DOWN AND HAD TO DO THE REGISTRATION ALL OVER. WE ORDERED AN APPLIANCE DOLLY AND BLANKETS BUT SHE SAID THEY DID NOT HAVE ANY WHEN WE PICKED UP THE TRUCK. WHEN WE DROPPED IT OFF THEY NEVER SAID ANYTHING ABOUT MILEAGE OR GAS BUT THEN EMAILED ME AND THEY OVERCHARGED ON MILEAGE AND GAS. TOTAL RIPOFF. WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN.Anna W.

I think the man that assisted Wanda Matthews was the most upstanding kind considerate pleasant man I've ever done business with I felt like he was God sent I have been stressed out has so many bad events happened he made absolutely sure that he turned my day around and brought a smile on my face thank you U-Haul company in Goldsboro the man who was on the evening shift after 2 that day you're awesome I would recommend U-Haul to anyone and anytime I need to move out use you allWanda M.
