Cost was waaaaay too high for less than 24 hour usage and dealing with the renter only by phone, hooking up and dropping off by myself (as a woman) was very difficult, but i managed!

The gawhd damn insulation by the gas pedal was busted on both sides. We had flames scorching our legs. Straight hot air SHOOTING at them. We had to adjust it as we drove. It would wiggle out of place in minutes. Please find this or add another layer to protect the legs/ redirect the air

It was the worst experience I ever had the owner was closed 35 minutes after the pick up time He than changed the reserved truck for a bigger truck without my permission Charged me an extra charge without explaination Very unprofessional and poor communication

Spacious and friendly location , clean and easy to use app to retrieve rental. Representative was able to reschedule our time and location due to the non responsive Crown location in Gonzales As for 14125 Hwy 44, Gonzales, LA 70737 I would not recommend them at all. I was unable to get anyone from the location to answer my phone calls to confirm reservation.

Worst customer service I’ve ever had. No one was at the location when I went to pick up the truck. I had to call some number 3 times before anyone would answer. Then the person was rude and had no interest in helping me at all, even using profanity on the phone. The truck was dirty. The windshield had a big crack on the driver side. But mostly it was the customer service that was the worst. I will not use this location ever again. I might not use U-Haul ever again.

The self service took me an hour to actually get the vehicle with the steps. The website kept freezing and starting over same with returning but it only took 30 minutes. The representative at the place wasn’t helpful and was in a rush to get off the phone. I tried to call back for help when the website was acting up but got no answer.

When I arrived, no one was there to work with me - which based on the online booking I was expecting a service rep to be present. I called the number they posted on the door, but no one answered, though I did receive a text message a few minutes later stating they were on the phone with another customer and to go ahead and get started with online checkin. I went through that process and it gave me the code for one of the lock boxes and the lock would not open. I texted the person back that I was communicating with and let them know the code was not working and sent a picture of the lock with the code I was given in place - never received a response. At this point we were about 30 minutes in from trying to get the truck - I asked them to cancel the reservation, for which I also never received a response. They still charged my card $50+ which I'm now going to have to fight for refund.

This was the WORST customer service experience EVER. The owner was not even on site and they were closed. When you tried to call him, he refuse to talk and would tell you to use the app. There was missing equipment ( dolly’s blankets, etc.) After wasting almost 2 hours we finally got the Uhaul and returned it later that day. When I got the bill he had charged me for 3 days and 3 days of equipment. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS OWNER. VERY SHADY, HE WILL COMMIT FRAUD. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION. Shady and extremely unprofessional. I will NEVER USE THIS LOCATION AGAIN!!

When you schedule pick up you choose a time to do so. The guy was not there and did not come right away when called. I had to leave the location and come back over an hour later in order to get my trailer. He had a foul mouth and was very unprofessional.

The gentleman at this location seemed nice in our first conversation over the phone. Once I arrived to drop off the location there is no one available and doesn’t seem like anyone is at this location. It looks as if it’s just a parking lot where they have a few trucks/equipment/ parking. On the door to the location is a sign that says for all U-Haul customers to call a number. I called several times with no answer when finally the man from early answered which now he was unprofessional, very rude, not helpful. This isn’t even all of it. Definitely will not use this location or recommend. Very unsatisfied.

I was over charge for the u haul .., I will never rent any more.

Very unprofessional. The attendant was not on site for the reservation time that I scheduled. Instead he was at the vet. On top of that he was late answering the phone to sign off on the rental which caused me to be late to my event. Compass Ventures also charged me two days for renting the trailer when I only had it one day. When I called to inquire the attendant answered with "what up." DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE!!!

Truck needed front alignment, banana blunts and and beer caps were in cab of truck when I picked it up. The gauge kept telling me add oil even after I did.

No one was there to help connect the trailer, and there are no jacks on the trailers. Had I shown up by myself to pick up this trailer I would have been highly ticked off because I could not lift the tongue to attach it ot my.hitch. As it stands,the guy I did bring with me, hurt his back while trying to hookup the trailer by himself! Absolutely ludicrous that you have locations that people do not assist with these things. Leaving people in a lot, left to do the job for you, is NOT running a business!!!

I showed up at 9:15 for my rental and the place was closed. Had a sign on the door saying call number if yoi are in parking lot. Called several times with no response. Absolutely unacceptable! I will never use these ppl again! I don't know if I'll ever use uhaul again!

The location was very hands off any U-Haul business. To be fair they were concerned with running their business which seemed to not include U-Haul. I had to call a person on the phone to get any kind of help. If it was communicated better then this may not have been an issue
