LUERETTA BI reserved an alliance dolly, a furniture dolly and a hand truck. When I arrived I was told they didn't have any of those items available. No one called me in advance to allow me to make other arrangements before my U-haul moving helped arrived. We had to hand carry a washer, dryer and refrigerator a very long distance. I concider the customer service of U-haul to be very poor for this rental. I have used U-haul many time over the past 50 years. I am highly dissatisfied with this rental experience. The app is quick to suggest items one may need for move, but apparently making a reservation is pointless.

ALFRED PAWFUL. 3 people waiting outside in cars because no one was at location from 10:30-11:30 am. so only one parking space available, which was very tiny and smooshed between two big trucks. the tiny overcrowded parking lot made it difficult to get in. waited half an hour and no one showed. tried to do check out online but wouldnt work. then they had the nerve to charge me a full day for not turning in the truck keys at the exact minute it was due when i had to drop it in a box and no one was even there to verify my drop off. terrible location, terrible employees, and terrible service. im leaving a domestic situation with 2 year old triplets and an autistic 5 year old 5 states away. i was there on time. left more gas than required. and still charged me an extra day than what i had it. the contract even says it was due nov 1st and i turned it in nov 2, but supposedly less than an hour late. they charged me 2 extra days for only 1. clearly thats when the employee decided to actually show up, not when i arrived and waited that entire time for them. absolutely awful experience. karma comes for those like this. hope my $40 was worth it. an hourly worker and huge corporation clearly need it more than i do.
Jordon WI had no notification that the location of the rental had changed. I was dropped off at the location and had to get transportation to pick me up and take me to a much further location for a different rental. When I arrived the place was closed. I called the number on the door. After waiting Don finally arrived. The van I rented was gross. I had to clean it. It smells like dog poop with curbs and debris everywhere even the cup holders. Dust came out of the vents. It wasn’t pleasant.

Robert WTruck was filthy and in need of a tuneup. Fruit roll up dried up and left on the front dash. Ordered two dollies which were not available and was sent to a place half hour away for a dollie and they did not have one either. Maybe call and check the location before sending customers out of their way.

Andre WI’ll start with what was good. The young lady who checked out the truck to me and a different young lady who checked it in were very polite and professional. First problem. I requested a flat 4 wheel furniture dolly when I made my reservation. When I arrived to pick up the truck I was informed that they didn’t have one and was offered no alternative other than to go to another location and try to get one there. It was 15 min before closing and no way for me to get there. This created a significant problem for me during my move the next day. Second problem. I was asked to approve photos of the truck that looked like they were taken the day it was purchased. Everything in the photos was pristine. In actuality the truck had over 30 areas of damage that I had to call in to report before leaving the premises with the truck. In addition, the “check engine” light was on indicating maintenance was needed. There was significant slippage in the transmission and a large gash in the sidewall of the passenger side rear tire. The inside of the cargo area was filthy and had not been swept out. Pieces of plastic, several nails, gum, and a lot of material that either came from inside some furniture or a small animal was sheared back there. The fuel tank was only half full leaving me to guess how much gas to put in before returning. Third problem. Upon my return at 3:40 PM there was a sign on the door that stated no one was in and they’d be returning at 4:30 PM. I did not have 50 min to wait around and since I’d driven significantly fewer miles than estimated I needed to make certain before I left that I was not charged the amount originally quoted. I called the number posted and told the man who answered that I was on site to return a truck. He asked me “what kind of truck?” I asked “what kind of trucks do you rent?” He said “Penske, Hertz, U Haul” and continued on. I found that odd since they’re only listed as a U Haul location. I told him there was no one there to check the vehicle in and I needed my paperwork before leaving. I got a rather snippy attitude and said they were probably at lunch. Odd to me that lunch break comes 2 hours before close of business. At this point I hung up and called the 800 number for U Haul. I was on the line with an agent when a woman miraculously appeared to check in my vehicle. All in all this location proved to be VERY frustrating and I would not use them again.

Geoffrey FI know it's a holdover from supply chain issues but we wanted moving blankets and 2 locations in Memphis didn't have them. Both the person who helped us reserve the 10' truck and the person onsite that finished our rental were great to work with. Everything was great with the truck and check out was very easy.
Joan HVery rude and unhelpful. Next time, listen fully so you can understand the full scope of the issue instead of ignoring the customer and trying to rush them off the phone. This resulted in an unresolved issue and reflects poorly on your services and uhaul. Practicing active listening would be a major advantage.
