Had a terrible time picking up my truck. I scheduled a week in advance but changed the time the day before and got no calls telling me it would be an issue. I showed up to my original pickup place and got a call as soon as I got there about my reservation pickup location being changed. Why couldn’t they have let me know sooner? After going to the second location I was told they didn’t even have a truck for me after wasting my time filling out all the paperwork. Why send me somewhere that didn’t even have a truck. Then I was told to go to another location where the manager didn’t help me at all and made me call a U-Haul representative. I was on the phone for another 22 minutes before I got my truck. It was 11:05 when we got the keys. And hr past my pickup time and 3 locations later. I assumed U-Haul would be more reliable than Menards or Home Depot but I was unfortunately wrong

The UhAul app would not let me download pictures of the truck. The cashier at Corner Pantry was not able to assist me with the rental or return. When I bought back the truck he told me to put the keys in the drop box. He said he could not do the return. The next day UhAul called me asking where the truck was. I had returned it the same day. The UhAul app needs to be fixed for downloading truck pictures and train the location to help with the rental process.
MELISSA AWorst experience ever. No one there to help even though I signed up for a manned location. Cell signal one bar or less do your app worked poorly reservation was not set up for unmanned pick up both windows of truck open when I arrived because truck smelled like pot and it was wet inside also garbage on floor of cab. Check engine light on no one to tell me if that was ok. Empty tank so dash said 41 miles to empty and I could not verify miles. It took me over an hour and a half to get someone on the phone and work through all the issues. Since this was not the site that I chose to pick up the truck and you changed the site it added miles to my trip that I have to pay for this is really really really poor customer service and not what I’ve come to expect from U-Haul.
Brian QIt was expensive none of my information changed but after I arrived to get the equipment the cost was inflated almost $300.00
