Equipment was functional, and rusted and dirty.
Wendy FThis was my fourth attempt to rent an auto transport and was still met with error issues... The computer wouldn't connect to the Uhaul POS system so I had to finish my transaction over the counter worker's personal phone where there were still issues! I had said many many times what exactly I was aiming to tow (which hasn't changed from numerous prior rentals from Uhaul within the last year) and was told my 2022 RAM 1500 wasn't rated for this combination yet again!! I was furious! The guy on the phone finally looked up past order receipts of my account and realized what I was towing was definitely able to be towed by my truck... After having mentioned many times over different attempts that I was towing a Van and not another truck, the reservation attendants (in person and over the phone at Uhaul locations) continued to input the incorrect information, causing me nothing but strife with this whole process!! This last attempt I was finally able to rent the auto transport and achieve my towing task, but I'm not hopeful about using Uhaul in the future at all. These mix-ups were really unnecessary and time consuming, not to mention eventually expensive!
KATIE SWhile I appreciate the store clerk lending me a broom. I didn't like that he wouldn't give me any sort of receipt or something to confirm my drop off. And then I was worried for 3 days that I screwed up just leaving my rental there with no signed proof and having to get called and call uhaul multiple times to confirm the rental drop off. I dropped it off on the 17th and he checked it in on the 19th. I still got charged for anextra day I didn't use that I paid for in advance in case I was longer. When asking folks about the drop off locations there really should be a heads up of whether the place is a dealer or an actual uhaul. With reviews about said dealers.

Rick CTo start, I made this reservation for north Phoenix literally a month or two prior to the pickup date. I then get a call saying I have to drive almost 100 miles to Casa Grande. I immediately say this is unacceptable, and I was given this location in Black Canyon City. This is still 30 miles, much farther than my reservation, but at this point I’m desperate. We then arrive to the new location, and this is literally just a convenience store where the workers had no idea what they were doing. I would give the situation one star, however the field manager saved the day and did the reservation over the phone.

TIMOTHY CThe agent was okay except he sat there and told me where to drop it off and let him know when I was done so he could go check it out. Piss poor agents you have, I will say that... I parked it, unhooked it from my pkup by myself and he looked it over and said all is good, goodby.
Lonnie MThe person at the market didn't have internet, couldn't use his phone, didn't hook the emergency break up, didnt cross the chains, and duck taped the chains together so they didnt come loose and it took an hour. Horrible experience and may never come back to uhaul after. This wasn't where I was even supposed to pick it up. Had to drive 30 miles from where it was reserved for pickup.
