Only issue I had was, the ramped trailer I originally reserved had a more narrow opening than the width of the trailer and I had to switch to a trailer without a ramp. This made loading the Polaris RZR I needed to move more difficult than it needed to be.

It was after hours so we just dropped the truck off after being sent to a location that was 34 miles out of our way & permanently closed.

Thoroughly explain that upon returning the U-haul, the gas meter needs to be half full (refer to the contract). The numbers provided on the contract that state the number of gallons needed to fill the tank are NOT visible nor was it brought to our attention upon picking up the vehicle. We filled the tank by watching the meter which was not working, therefore we over filled the vehicle, using an extra $20 out of pocket. When explaining this scenario to the manager and kindly asking for a refund, her approach was extremely rude and confrontational. We work very hard for our income and wanted to make this move as easy of possible. After arguing with us over justifying the refund, the manager stood up and while walking away stated "You will have your receipt emailed to you!" After 7 hours of moving this was the LAST thing we wanted or needed. Poor customer service at its finest and coming from many years of management experience, this was overall unacceptable and disappointing.

I feel U-Haul took advantage of my wife when she came in to pickup our rental reservation. Why does it cost $45 to put insurance on a rental of a car tow dolley that costs $160 to rent? Over all the rental staff were excellent, I don't remember ever having to pay that much in the past especially since we only used it less than 2 of the allotted 4 days. After my rental which was paid in full... plus an additional 375$ freeze on my funds that didn't drop off for a week... I was sent a nasty email stating that my balance was not paid and I would be sent to collections. Ridiculous. I still don't know if it's been corrected

There was major confusion when booking my rental. I called to get a quote from one person. Even though he said he was saving my quote, when I called back the next girl acted like nothing was written down. She was still helpful and got me another quote but then when my husband went to pick up the uhaul he was again given a different number! I don't know why it's so hard to keep something like that straight. I was also told on the phone multiple times that I could pick the truck up at any time the day it was reserved, but then the day of I got a call saying I was late picking it up and did I still want it? I would have been fine setting up a time to begin with but was assured it wasn't necessary! It all worked out fine in the end but was a bit of a headache along the way.

My appointment was incorrect due to an appointment setting service. But the manager at this location got to work early in my car anyway. I am very grateful that he installed my equipment promptly, as I had a long drive ahead of me.
