Vehicle was dirty, guy worked out of his house and was unaware of the location of the key, I reserved 12 furniture pads which I only got 4 because he kept them outside and they were soaked. I don't recommend this location. Also, I reserved a Truck at a different location that was much closer to my house. That location had the exact same sized truck I received from this location.

WILLIAM WService personnel were very responsive, answered the phone immediately, and provided good instructions. The location itself was what appeared to be an abandoned store that was closed down. There were no personnel on site, so it appeared to just be a drop-off location. Nothing inherently wrong with the location, just appeared a little odd. I left the car trailer as instructed, but it was left unsecured in the parking lot. I didn't get a receipt by email until two days later.

Shane MI had to go 20 plus miles to another town to pick it up. When tgere was 2 at 2 locacations less than a mile from my house. The reservation lady said I couldn’t use them. The people at location said they was available. The equipment was full of trash
kevin oGreat customer service. Got a call after I returned the truck letting me know that I didn't owe anything for the extra mile I went and letting me know that he would be glad to help me in the future. NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS LOCATION BUT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE i GOT WHILE TRYING TO GET THE TRUCK WAS HORRIBLE: 1. Didn't call to confirm the day before 2. When I called I was told I hadn't been assigned a truck even though I made my reservation 2 weeks prior. 3. The person then transferred me to scheduling at 7:15 p.m. and they closed for the day at 7:00 p.m. 4. Called back and was told they didn't have any 15 foot trucks but after a few minutes one miraculously appeared at a different location. 5. Not so much u-hauls fault but when I went to pick up my truck after I paid for it and found it on the lot there was a homeless man, I thing, asleep in the cab. 6. Called them again and they couldn't get me a 15 foot truck so they found me a 26 foot truck. I had no other option and parking it was easy. 7. When I got the 26 foot truck the person told me that she wouldn't pick a drop off location so I could take it to the nearest one to me but that isn't how it works. I got an email telling me to return it 25 miles away. I called u-haul again and they did find me a closer location. 8. The u-haul app didn't work well. It got stuck in a loop asking me to take the pictures again until it finally started over. I never got the app to work right picking up or dropping off. 9. Also, someone is supposed to call me to make sure I get refunded for the 15 foot truck that I never got. I was told I had to talk to a different person to get my refund faster. Very dissatisfied!

Keith HSuper nice owner...very intelligent and stated he would add fluids and check vehicle condition after a bit of a scare driving this unkempt truck. U-Haul has definitely shifted its focus from pleasing the customer to putting the customer to work on the back of the customer.

janine jFirst, it's 19 miles from my house, about a 45-minute round trip, passing dozens of uhaul locations on the way to the most remote location. Then nobody is even there to check you in.

BRIAN CWhat a rip off. First i got charged $115 immediately even though i was told i wouldnt be charged anything until after i returned the truck due to mileage being a factor. Then since i only drove 19 miles my total ended up being barely $50. Yet i still have the charge for $115 on my card and the reciept i was sent only says i paid $100 and got a refund of $43 even though ive got no such refund. And where did MY extra $15 go ? This is EXTREMELY ridiculous.

mac mMr. Fleming went out of his way to help me when his dealership was closed. He went the "extra mile" to help me when I needed a trailer to move my mother-in-law's household goods from an assisted living facility to storage after she broke her hip. This was a very stressful and emotional time. Mr Fleming took time to make a friend as well as rent a trailer. I appreciate U-Haul having such a fine human being to represent the company. paul tThe dealer cheated my husband out of $30. I made the reservation over the phone from Florida. When my husband picked up th smelly, dirty cargo trailer the owner charged my husband an extra $30 for the “insurance I requested” which is a lie. I would never use this dealer again!

virgil jInitial reservation was not honored by rental place. Preferential treatment was given to a customer who signed up to rent storage space at the same location they rent U-hauls. That particular situation was a obvious conflict of interest and was very managed poorly... Second rental place was very well organized gentleman who help take the sting out of being behind schedule to start the day out.

kim rThis location was WONDERFUL my over all experience with UHaul was NOT so wonderful! I was not informed my truck was not in and I drove to pick it up then was told to go to another location which didn't have ANY trucks! to then be sent another 15 miles further to pick up a truck! Yes I got a small credit but had to drive extra miles and very frustrating over all! IN NO way does my comments go to the location I did get my truck from but overall my experience with Uhaul was NOT good! I think I should have gotten a little more compensation for the extra work I had to do to rent a truck! The customer service at this site was A++++++
Tabitha MThe man on the phone was extremely rude, then It took the person behind the counter almost an hour to get us out truck. We were charged for moving pads which we never received and the drop off location was wrong. Do yourself a favor and use a different location.
RYAN Fdepends on what you have. i had a 26ft truck with a car hauler. there was no room to put it. couldn't see or get out. now fuel station to fill up. i had to leave, go find gas, and then really work at getting it in the lot. however, the drop off people were helpful, it was not hard to find.

timothy bTrailer was at a different location, staff had no Idea I was coming until I got there then they saw the reservation. No help hooking it up or dropping it off. During transit the door opened exposing my furniture to the elements. The latch and everything was still in the lock position. Worst service I have ever gotten from uhaul

Joseph BThe location was to far. Uhal gave me the run around. Makes no sense to reserve a truck at one location, if it's not going to be available. But the people were very nice at the Lugoff location. And very helpful.
Nicole MLugoff location was excellent. 8400 two notch n customer service was the all times worst experience I've ever got. 8400 general manager told me he didn't have nothing for me and I didn't call so he didn't care and didn't have nothing for me. Customer service told me they reserve another for me in blythwood and I drove 30mins there for the young to tell me she had none and that uhaul will call me I waited and no one called so she told me to call and then they sent me to lugoff. Customer service told me I will get extra miles because I had to drive so far away and they didn't put it in the system.
Chandira WNot call me at 9:30 at night less than 12 hours from when I am supposed to pick up the trailer I reserved. Also from a location that is not where I requested. If you are going to call me at 9:30 you better be able to answer your phone at 9:35 when I call back. This is completely unacceptable on all accounts. I am on a timeline that I have to clear my apartment and get on the road. Even the time that I am being told the trailer will be available is ridiculous! If I say I need a trailer on the 30th of July it better be available at the time the location opens; not at 2 p.m. Who moves at 2 p.m.????
Michael DI reserved a truck at a different location and they said they did not have any trucks for me. I'm not sure why you even have a reservation system if you can not guarantee a truck. We had to drive to a different town to get our truck. With the time and money I sent for this truck I will not use or recommend Uhaul to anyone.
