I have always rented from U-Haul and I have never had this problem before I paid the first day and I asked the young man can I leave after 6 if it's okay he said fine I got there like 6:04 the guys was still there and I get a receipt a little while ago and you charged me over $90 when I pay for the first day my $30 I don't have money to pay a hundred something dollars for a day and a half of a trailer when I was told that it was 1999 and $8 for the insurance I've always rented on my side of town but I had to run in the hood for emergency I can't afford to pay that that's not fair to me I would never refer anyone to you guys location I never had this problem my son maybe have left a toy in there and that's it and you charged me some cleaning fee and whatever else that's not right I want my money back that is not fair to me I couldn't afford the rent two days but I rented a whole day and 6 hours later it wasn't even really two days if I can afford to rent a whole U-Haul I would have you charge me a whole U-Haul feet I cannot afford that that is not there to me when I asked the guy cannot leave it he did not explain to me I had to pay no other charges and that is not fair I can't afford that I'm really hurt by you haul this time I never had a problem but I know if I have to rent from you guys again it will be on my side of town where are always rent from I'm hurt by this I can't afford this I paid the first day and a second day you guys charged me 90 something dollars I need my money back I can't afford that my total was supposed to be $60 like $59 and I already paid the first day my name is Pamela my phone number is 678-964-9383 I would love to speak to customer service when I wake up I will call the customer service number and try to get someone this is not fair to me this never happened to me beforePAMELA M.

I dropped the uhaul off on a Sunday and this location was closed. But it was clearly marked where to drop the keys and park the truck. They checked my truck in first thing in the morning and emailed my receipt before I called them. Thank you!MICHELLE M.
Ensure uhaul annex business owners are equipped with items customers need. 2. Notify customers 48hrs in advance especially if they have made reservations with main Uhaul Center and then to be told the contract is referred to the closest uhaul affiliate which whom are not prepared to receive overall your customers. I had an very unsatisfactory experience, not with any particular dealer, but with U-Haul's corporate scheduling policy. Apparently it is your practice to schedule back-to-back truck rentals with no margin for error. I was promised a 9:00 a.m. reservation at your dealer Covaco Tires in Lithonia, Georgia. Upon my arrival shortly before the agreed time, I was informed by the dealer that the truck was not available because the previous renter had returned the truck messy, and rather than accept the cleaning charge, had gone back to his/her home to clean the truck and was not expect back for at least twenty minutes. The dealer then contacted your reservations center, who found another truck at a different site in the next county, which was to be ready at 10:15. As a compensation, I was offered a larger truck at no additional charge. I then drove to the site, A1 Mini Storage, in Conyers, Georgia, arriving shortly after 10 a.m. Upon arrival I asked the dealer, Brianna, about the truck. She said it was not there. When she logged into your system, she reported that the truck had been wrongly returned to a different site. She then contacted your reservations center, and Marian Leblanc, one of your reservations managers, located a truck at the other side of the county, at Anchor Tax, a tax preparer that leases U-Haul trucks as a side venture. Not wanting to risk a wasted trip, I asked Brianna to telephone Anchor Tax to confirm that the truck was actually present. The person at Anchor Tax said that they had no such truck. I decided not to risk the trip. I then contacted the original site to ask if the truck had come in. It had, so I asked them to please hold it for me. I went back and finally picked up the truck, two hours late. Ms. Leblanc did refund $50.00, apparently as compensation for failure to satisfy U-Haul's rental reservation guarantee, but that did not make up for the bad impression that you made. Two, and possibly three failed reservations in a single dayâ€”it is hard to know if I was very unlucky, or if this is what I should expect when I rent a U-Haul truck.Robert P.

Find someone who knows how to use a computer and cash out a customer. I was double charged at this location for tires and a uhaul truck. Of course they quick to take money out the account then they can't help when it's time to give it back.JACQUELYNN A.

First, I was told I could drop vehicle off after hours, but NOT that I would be charged $20 extra. Second, I put gas in until the tank wouldn't take any more. The gas Guage did not move all the way to "full." I was told that, with that model truck, you had to hold the nozzle at a certain angle for the Guage to register as full. Seriously? That's something I should have been told before I took the truck! That lack of information cost me $7.50. Third, the bill was sent to me in an email in a .png file. Who does that. The standard is to use .pdf files, everybody can open them. I feel like I was hustled.SHARON D.

The guy who helped us was very rude and sarcastic when it came to answering questions about my first experience using U-Haul. The U-Haul truck had a terrible smell of cigarette smoke that transferred onto my items and the van had little to no gas, and during the end of my ride the oil change light and the tire pressure light came on. I will not use this facility again.Nia W.
Everything went well as far the pick up. Good customer service and van was clean . However when I dropped off the van, I pulled in front of the office, I parked the van and I had my elderly father with me. I had to get out to tell my driver to driver closer to the van so my father wouldn't have to walk far. I turned around heading back to the van and the U-Haul man was in the van backing up. I ran to the van because my father wasn't wearing a mask and neither was the U-Haul person . I stopped him and said that he should be around my father who is 82 without a mask on. He should have never gotten in the van . He should have told me to move the van or waited until I got my father out!!!!!! Practice safety first !!!!!!!!!Karla W.

I only given this location a (1) star because I had to in order to complete this survey. They do not deserve any stars. This is a very poorly management facility. Our truck had animal hairs in it and did not appear thoroughly cleaned inside, which is a TOP PRIORITY due to COVID-19. When we arrived, our truck was not equipped with the Appliance Dolly and Furniture Pads we reserved. I was not impressed by this crew at all. The employee Jean Francios sent us to another location way out of my way from the major interstate just to get the dolly and pads. It is a very sketchy area and often have estranged people just hanging out. The neighborhood is rather ruined down and not very maintained. If you are concerned about your SAFETY, do not rent from this place. I would suggest you go down to the UHaul Dealership, a Corporate store located at: 4360 Covington Hwy, Decatur, GA 30035. They are very professional, neat, and clean and have a full team to greet you as well as check your equipment back in upon return. They have dollies, boxes, tap, etc... IT IS AN ONE STOP SHOPPING STORE at the Uhaul located at 4360 Covington Hwy, Decatur, GA 30035.casandra P.

The truck was nasty in the cab I was in a rush to get to a job I had booked for today so I had no time to complain when I got back I did everything that was instructed when returning trucks I always make sure I double check been using uhaul for years I went to return keys so he can check me in he said it was going to be a while he was running a automobile shop I told him if he had any problems charging card give me a call this guy charges me for a clean up fee this is one of them private location i have had good private locations and bad private locations and never felt the urge to want to write a review this place is awful he shouldn't be able to check trucks in it should be the self check in because uhaul over all is great and they make sure their customers are satisfiedQUARDRICUS H.

reserved a 10 ft truck at the Conyers location on 6/22 in person. when I arrived on 6/29 to pick the truck up was told there wasn't one there at that location for me. I had to drive to Lithonia to pick the truck up. Very frustrating when I reserved the truck one week in advance. the people at both the Conyers and the Lithonia locations were not friendly, bordering on rude. no apology for your mix up of my reservation was ever offered.Vanessa D.

I was under the impression and was told by the agent that I had to bring the truck back today by 1330pm. But I returned the truck last night back to there property but I didn't leave the let because I didn't know where to leave it.iI too the key back this morning and the owner was so nasty. He said you're returning the truck right now, the truck is not returned until I have the key. I said Im on a 24 hour rental he said look at your receipt it say 1945pm last night. I said I was under the impression that all uhaul have 24 hour. After he saw I only went 13 miles he started look for things to charge me for. He said the back of the truck wasn't clean. I got up there and wiped up a little spot of oil. The truck was cleaned and back on full tank of gas. For a 39.00 dollar rental and 10.00 in miles he charged me 77.95 and folded me to take it up with Uhaul. The guy that work there said he do this all the time to his customers. The manager stole my money!!! A rental that was suppose to end in a $80 charge turned into a $129 charge with his lies and schemes. I have all my proof that's why I took pictures. They gave me the truck at 7/8 worth of gas and brought it back at that amount and he sent me an invoice with it being something else. And then he swept dirt from between the grooves and the edge of the truck and then said I didnt clean the truck. There was no garbage debre in the truck but he charged me $25 and $20 for the gas He is a thief and he should not be allowed to operate a uhaul business because he robs people of their money.Adria A.
