SHARON JThe folks at the Antigo location were fantastic. Laura was professional, funny, and she answered all our questions on getting the truck part of the move taken care of. Glad we have this location, and I would suggest to anybody needing U Haul to go in person rather than try to use the online service. My reasoning is; the last four times I tried reserving from the site my pick up location in Wausau 45 miles away. I walked in and Laura had the reservation taken care of and ensured us that a truck would be there for us rather than having to travel to Wausau. Keep up the outstanding work here in Antigo.

DONALD SThe truck cab was covered in spilled drinks. The location's hours are incorrect in U-Haul's web site. The location opens at 10:00 AM. My res' was for 9:00 AM based on the web site info. I arrived on time only to find the place closed. I did try the door, but no luck. Turns out the proprietor was present but not paying attention for my arrival. I tried editing my reservation so I could get the truck electronically, but that ended up with the keys "inside". It turned out later they were in the visor of the truck all along (great security). I finally tried calling the location, and got an answer, so I finally picked up the truck around 9:40. That made me late for my load pick-up appointment and kept my access person waiting, too. I was not happy, and the whole reason for setting up an in person pick-up was to avoid all this BS. Plus, editing the res' caused it to default to the 26' rate, although I only had the 26' because a 15' I ordered wasn;t available, and I was supposed to get the 15' rate. Further, no blankets or dolly were in the truck! (I did get a dolly from the Green Bay Main St. location and returned it in Antigo.)

ERIC BThe app was not very user friendly, it first showed wrong data to begin with and then I kept getting confused when it would show the wrong pick up location and had to call a couple of times before someone told me that the app is showing your hub address. It’s be really great if a message could be added, like a pop up that says “pick up location will update once reservation is confirmed”. Also I got 4 or 5 emails in a row saying I’d get a call to confirm then thank you for confirming. No one ever actually contacted me to confirm if my pick up location would work for me and I didn’t have the time or patience to call again. This was the worst part about my entire move.

roberta DI moved 2 hours away. I reserved a 26 ft truck to be picked up in my town. I got a phone call two day before pick up that I had to drive 30 min to pick up the closest available truck. Then, the next day, I got called saying that I now had to drive 45 min to pick up the closest available truck. The dealer in my town was nice enough to get the truck and bring it to our location. I went in and paid for 6 days. Picking up Tuesday and dropping off the following Monday. I recieved no paperwork or specific instructions. I took the truck home, I packed it, Saturday morning we left. We got to our new house and started unpacking. We got done Monday afternoon and took the truck back at 445pm. As I went through the return process I was charged an extra 116.00! The dealer didn't put in the correct return day and did not relay that I had to return the truck at pick up time, so I was charged 2 extra days plus an extra insurance coverage. I called the 1-800 number and talked to a representative. She helped me understand why that happened. Still not right, but I understood why. She told me she wrote down notes and if there was a problem someone would call. I checked my bank account and there was an 11.25 charge from u-haul for a fuel charge. I picked up the truck at a half a tank. I dropped off the truck at just under 3/4 tank. My entire experience was unacceptable. I was lied to and overcharged, and then accused of and charged for fuel that in actuality, I left more than what I was supposed to. I am several disappointed.
