I wish the location had a chart of what will fit in the trailer. I rented for nothing. I told the girl I was transporting a side by side ATV. She assured me it would fit. I made my 1.5 hr drive to pick up just to find out the trailer was too small. Then I drove another 1.5hr back to drop off. I was told I had to still pay for the 24hr rental. I am very mad that I have to pay for something not used due to the employee not having good knowledge of trailer.Kimberly P.

It's hard to believe that I drove a truck for 160 plus miles in less than 24 hours. I don't understand how 2-30 miles round trip could have generated 160 plus miles on those short trips. I feel like I have been taken advantage of and I will tell people to NOT go to U-Haul for rentals. I feel stupid for trusting and not writing the mileage before and after and this is what I get **** without being kissed.reyes S.

Safety chain end links were bent and unable to be used as hooks. It was extremely hard to pass the chains through a standard hitch rings designed for safety chains. The manager was not very helpful, however, hi maintenance man was very capable and helpful.Stanley C.

I arranged for a15' box truck and when I went to pick it up they didn't have one so they upgraded me to a 26' which I don't think was a upgrade because the truck was a whole lot bigger than what I actually needed not to mention the amount of fuel this 26' box truck used they really didn't do me a favor by upgrading me to a much larger truck than I actually tried to get.Herbert N.
This location was able to help me on changing my rental from a in-town use to a one way to better assist me due to my long working hours and location. They were able to provide me with a return location closer to me instead of me driving back far to drop off my rental. They over exceed customer help due to the fact that Uhaul customer service center and scheduling could not help me with and they kept transferring me from person to person because they could not help. That is why I recommend this location because they did way better than Uhaul customer help. Great people like this are well appreciated and the reason why people come back. I suggest that customer service should have better training to help out customers.osvaldo C.

My reservation was for the store on Sam Houston. When I arrived there they didn't have a trailer for me. The manager there gave me some lame explanation about reservations not being at a certain location. He didn't know where the trailer was to be picked up at. He sent me to a storage facility that didn't even have trailers or trucks. Total run around! Not ever using that location again. Guy was to busy bragging to a customer how he is the number one seller in the area. How corporate is screwing him by not assigning him more units. Absolute unprofessional!!James C.

My online experience was not good. I only wanted the trailer for a day and I was required to rent it for 2 days. The pickup location was 3803 N Navarro and when I arrived to pick up the trailer I was told I was at the wrong location despite my reservation confirmation email. I was told someone was suppose to call me to confirm the pick up and this never occurred. I had to go to the Houston Highway location for pickup.The UHaul delivery guy was there and he completed my reservation. I kept the trailer for one day. I would really like to be refunded for the extra day.Lynn B.

Typical problems with doing the reservation online. Never got contacted about pickup location. Location that was on the confirmation was not this one. Went to first place then had to go here. This place does not have the blankets I also reserved. Had to go back to first place to get them.William S.

This Crosswinds location was superb...great customer service, pleasant people both at time of pick up and drop off, quickly in and out at time of pick up and drop off. After my experience at the two prior locations in Victoria, TX, this experience was refreshing!! Well Done!! The UHaul location at Sam Houston was horrible; the UHaul location on Stockbauer lacked customer service. The booking and confirmation process on line and by telephone was mishandled. Sam Houston location receives zero stars (there is not enough room to note all my comments about that experience and the store's refusal to rent me a truck, for which I had a reservation and had waited over 30 minutes to receive while two employees helped one customer) and Stockbauer receives one star--as the face of UHaul you are always responsible, not "you have to call customer service; we do not have a truck for your reservation. I cannot do anything".Kala D.

First my uhaul wasn't ready at the time I reserved it for, then I get a call from Uhaul corporate saying that I should have returned the uhaul to the location that I picked it up, when I specifically told they man at the desk that I was moving and I would be dropping it off 3 hours away from Victoria. He told me that would be fine. That didn't matter to them, I'm sitting here going back and forth with these people on the phone because they want to charge me $170 just because I dropped the trailer off at a different location, the location that I told the gentleman I was dropping it off too!! I had to sit here and wait for them to call the crossroads location to make sure I was telling the truth. My whole experience with this service this time was not good at all. I still ended up getting charged more than I was originally quoted for.Edricka B.
The Crossroads Inn, Victoria TX pick-up location was very unprofessional. I processed the express check-in the 09.7.18 before pick-up and the the morning of pick-up I called to inform them that I was running behind to meet the 10:00am pick-up. As I arrived around 11:45am the truck wasn't even there. They informed me that the truck tires were getting aired so will be another 5-10 minutes so I waited patiently. 15 minutes go by so checked on status and the emotions escalated. The truck finally 30 minutes later with their employees unloading 2x4's wood for their personal business construction. I will never use this site to pick-up any equipment.Melissa M.
Very unhappy with the U-Haul experience. Return location was keyed in as unknown as I wasn't sure where a local dealer was; tried to return it in Schulenburg the day I rented it and office closed and no response to phone call; called toll free number and was told if I returned it anywhere but Columbus I would be charged double; as usual U-Haul uses a trailer plug that is not typical and had to buy an adapter. Won't use U-Haul again or recommend you.pamela W.

He did not give me a receipt for dropping he said that he showed that I already dropped it off. I said that was impossible since I was there at 2:58 to drop it off. His name was Ron and was not very helpful. I call uhaul and waiting for 28mins before someone came on the line. Lisa was able to document that I dropped it off and he only signed my paperwork that I had and did not provide me with a printed invoice. The truck had not been washed and showed signs of road grime and dirt, also the checkout mileage and the odometer did not match. there was 7 more miles on the odometer than what the contract stated.Rodger T.

Truck was dirty and cab smelled like a old beer joint or bar. I had to ask for air freshener to get rid of smoke smell. Back of truck had dirt and some kind of tree branched. Truck also had oil change needed light on when I received truck. This indicated to me that truck was never checked out. The place I was suppose to pick up a truck called and indicated their truck had problems so they sent me to this location. I will never rent from this location again and don't recommend then to anyone. I will be in need of another truck next week and hope I have better luck. I have mixed feeling. The guy charged me $100 when I picked truck up then when I returned it he charged me another $23. My receipt on my email says I suppose to get $23 back not pay. If your going to have people working for u that steal from customers your going to loose business. And I always us this company but not that location and I won't never again.
