When I arrived I felt rushed by the attendant. I had questions about insurance and the condition of the trailer while he was processing on the computer. He answered me in condescending manner. At one point I said to him, "Thank you for pretending to be patient with me." He responded, "Well, I'm just trying to get you in and our of here, I have lots of other things to do." Quite rude, though done so with a pretended pleasant voice. The trailer was FILTHY DIRTY! The outside had a black film all over it. I cleaned it at my house before loading it, even rubbing against it would get clothes very messy. The inside looked clean, but it had only been swept. When I ran my hand across the floor it turned black across my palm. I had to wash the whole inside with Pine Sol to clean and sanitize before loading.

This location was 1 1/2 hr out of our way to where we needed to go. It wants this locations fault. But the set up on uhauls fault. I shouldn't have accepting that location. But I didn't realize how far it was away from where we were going

The mileage on our electronic invoice was wrong. We only had the truck about an hour and 10 minutes. When we got back to retun truck and discuss it, no one in the office to talk to. We were charged for 8 miles too many. Overall the whole experience was too digital and without human to discuss things with. Older clients without smartphones have zero chance of dealing with anyone to help them. Very disappointing. Overcharged!!!

The local customer service and location was awesome. Centralized Uhaul was an unorganized mess. They relocated my pick up and made errors on equipment requested. Thankfully, the local crew pulled thru and made it a good experience.

Simplify the return process. Update the availability of the uhaul size requested. I was forced to take a 26 ft truck when I had only needed a 15ft. I was sent to this location from another site where I had attempted to rent the truck I needed. Additionally trying to return the truck and report the time it was returned was unnecessarily difficult and confusing.. I went to the site but there was no clear option to select return uhaul and when I called the number I was transferred then placed on hold and in that time discovered there would be a 20 dollar convenience charge. I managed to turn in the keys but simply left without speaking to anyone. The location was closed and I was in a bad area and desperate to leave as soon as possible. I'll never rent from uhaul again. I'm quite sure I'm entitled to money back, but am currently furious with this company and need to cool down before pursuing what I believe will be a bigger hassle than the one I had while renting.

No drop box, no indication of where to leave the vehicle. I spent 18 minutes on the phone with Uhaul upon dropping it off and nobody could figure out where the key drop off was.

Ensure that they have their login information for the U-Haul System. Employee/Owner could not remember the password to login and retrieve my reservation. Not that this is this locations fault, but there were damage marks all over the truck as well as a large crack in the windshield. The dealer that I returned the truck to the as surprised they even allowed the truck to be driven. I also had major issues when changing from Drive to park to reverse. The shift bar was very loose.

This location was fine but it was not our original drop off location. The original drip location was 6008 Madison Rd. However upon arriving there, there was nowhere to drop a uhaul and no key drop box. It was a small building on a busy street with no parking lot. We had to wait on the side of the road for over 40 minutes while I called uhaul customer service for help. I talked to three different people and the first two just put me on hold and never came back to help. The third person finally helped us find a legitimate drop off location. Overall this process was one of the worst experiences of my life. I will do my best to never rent from uhaul ever again and will encourage all my friends and family to do the same. Some serious changes and investigation need to go into these so called pick up and drop off locations.

It was awkward to have to pick up a truck from an old car detailing garage when I wanted to pick up the truck at a storage unit behind my residence that was a U-Haul location. Also the trailer I reserved for my vehicle to tow, the wheel wells were too high and I could not open my car door after loading it on the trailer. I had to leave my window down the whole trip and climb out of my car like a nascar driver. The previous time I moved I had no issue getting out of my car.

The trailer coupler latch (the part that locks the ball in place) is a defective design. It was one that you screwed down by hand instead of the flip down kind. It seemed to work it's self loose. At each gas stop, I had to re-tighten it. I've got to believe the flip down type is more secure. Other than that, the trailer was clean and rode well.

This was not the address that was on my contract. The address was 3600 Red Bank Road, Cincinnati, OH. It turned out that this was also an incorrect drop off spot. Although it was dropped off at the incorrect location, I will recommend UHaul as above average due to their excellent customer service in the matter. I dropped off the van according to my contract, and dropped the keys in the drop box. I called this drop off company and they do not service UHaul customers, yet my keys were in their drop box. UHaul tended to the situation and ensured that I did not have to go through any trouble to retrieve the keys and drive the van to another location. I respect their professionalism and understanding that the address was incorrect on my contract.

When I rented my truck, the fuel level was just under 3/8 of a tank but 3/8 of a tank was marked on the rental agreement. I didn't think much of it but when I returned it at the same level, I was charged $12.75 for gas to get it up to 3/8 of a tank.

I've filed a complaint with Uhaul without response. I was overcharged, and accused of not returning the vehicle and then damaging the vehicle. All not true. Had an excellent experience with another location a couple weeks earlier, but not this one. Could not have gone worse. Also the first time I tried to do the online automated checkout. Got to the last step on the web site after my card was charged, and the site crashed. Sat on the phone for 40 minutes (cutting into my reserved time) to get an unlock code for the key box. I believe Uhaul acted against me filing inaccurate claims against me andI was not angry or mean, but I was frustrated. The analyst going between me and a technical person for the key code was helfpul, but limited. They ultimately patched me in on a three-way call with a technical person and they were rude. They got me unlocked, but nobody was concerned with the fact that we lost 40 minutes. The nice analyst said they would get me $50 back due to the guarantee reservation. There are cameras all around that propery which will clearly show me sweating outside for 40 minutes while on the phone waiting for help, and it will also show me putting gas into the cargo van across the street and returning to the rental location well ahead of my expired time. The van sat in the same spot for days after I returned it (we drive by all the time) when Uhaul sent me a notice that I did not return the van, filing charges against me. I proved to them that I did return the van, per their form. They then decided to say there was a scratch on the back door of the van, which we did not do. So they decided to charge me for that so they can get some of their $50 reservation guarantee back (they did give that back to me, but added extra charges that were unwarranted. The charge should have only ended up being $8.49, but it was close to $200 with their false charges.) We drove to one store and put a couple of pieces of furniture in. It was an open parking lot. The doors touched nothing as there was nothing around. We dropped off to our driveway, nothing around to touch the doors, and then returned the van quickly due to our limited time from the earlier issue with the online checkout delaying out time. It's a tiny parking lot, and we pulled into a spot on return, whereas it was backed into a spot when we checked it out. I believe someone hit the van in the tight parking lot after we returned it and put the scratch into it. I'm certain the cameras on this property will confirm all of this. If they don't overturn the charges and respond to me, I will likely reach out to law enforcement to get help with viewing the footage around the van for the days in question to support my claims. Uhaul also overcharged us on the mileage. I factored 30 miles, and we came in under that. They charged us over that. Their mileage and odometer reading listed did not match the picture I took of the odometer. This was not just a negative experience, but a dirty experience. We

After three changes to the pickup location because a truck could not be provided at the original location that I reserved two weeks in advance I was able to pick a truck up at this location 30 minutes later than my scheduled reservation. They charged me $10 for furniture pads which I never received and an additional $60 was charged for not returning those furniture pads. Eventually Uhaul did refund those charges after several phone calls. I'd recommend renting with a different company because it is not worth the hassle and stress of having to reschedule pickup locations and dispute charges.

The location and the man working were both wonderful and very helpful! The only complaint I have is not with them at all, my only complaint is that is the 48 hours between when I scheduled pick up of the trailer and Saturday when I picked it up I had 21 and 8 text messages!!!! That is insane!!! I was unable to do a preregistration due to the face that I was not the person driving the truck pulling the trailer and did not have his drives licens number, not to mention once I got there this whole big registration process that you were supposed to be saveing me the time and trouble of took less than 3 minutes! The amount of emails in addition to text messages boarders on harassment in this past year we have used your services a few times (mostly under my fiancés name) and we do love your trucks and service but in the future I will need to make sure I tell you no comunication at all and I will (no matter who is driving) just register when I pick it up. Again I would like to say hat ever one I have felt with has been amazing and I am sure you have an audimated system that sends out the emails but you may want to lower the quantity of emails. I am sure like myself did not pay attention to any of them after the first two and instead just end up getting frustrated with each new email that has once again came from U-Haul!
