I ordered a utility dollie it was not on truck when picked up the furniture blankets that were on truck I didn’t order and were unused

The non U-Haul employee was amazing and very helpful when we could not use the APP as required by U-haul. When making the reservation online, we requested a location convenient to us that we had had a wonderful experience prior to, for picking up our requested vehicle. The reservation was confirmed for our request via email. We then received an additional email indicating we had to pick up at a different location, would have a different vehicle, and had to complete everything through an APP, not in person as requested. We downloaded the APP as required to complete the transaction and noticed that tracking was on all the time even though we requested ‘only when using the APP’. When we went to pick up the vehicle, the APP was not working for several people who were at the location to pick up their vehicle. We completed our pick up with a real person and got going with our day. When we went to drop off our vehicle, the APP was still not working and was not even indicating we had had the vehicle for almost 6 hours. Again we finished our transaction in person, as originally requested. The APP experience was horrendous and will have me thing twice before we use U-Haul again.

I reserved a 20 foot truck a week prior when I got there to pick it up they gave me a 15 foot and told me that they measure it from the front of the truck to the back. That’s why it’s a 20 footer I’ve rented a lot of U-Haul from U-Haul. They do not know what they’re talking about and they told me that it was full when I pulled out of the parking lot, I had 38 miles to empty went back to the store and they had to sign in the window saying they’d be back in an hour when I went back to sign was changed said they’d be back in an hour again in the same thing happen when I went to drop it off I went there three times to drop it off every time I went there the sign was changed. Be back in an hour and when I got to the store to pick it up, I had to call the one 800 number cause they said their systems were down instead of calling for me. They had me do the call poor service.

The mobile pickup was confusing for a first timer, but the representative on the phone was fabulous. Talked me through the process and was very patient. Made sure everything was in order before ending the conversation.

Customer service was very poor. We couldn't get our online check in to work, so we went inside. The lady at the desk informed us that she would probably be even slower and she has no idea what she's doing. She sent us a link for pictures of our licenses over 10 times. We were inside for 30 minutes and over an hour late for our U-Haul reservation.

There was no one at the location during my drop off just a sign saying they would be back in 2 hours. Other than that everything was fine.

The truck smoked from the tailpipe showing it needs an oil change. Checked it and it's low on oil. There was food left on the floor board from the previous person so it wasn't cleaned. The door was left up so the inside was wet. There was no dolly or moving pads left inside for me. I had to go to Governors dDr to get it. That means I had to take time away from my move and spend my own gas to do their job. I tried dropping a truck here a year ago and they wouldn't take it. Just avoid the mess and go to an actual dealer not a contractor or whatever they are.

I got there before the place opened to get my 20' truck, nobody ever opened the store for me to check in. For an hour I had to try and get ahold of someone on the phone until finally I called U-Haul and they were able to change my check in to mobile.

They ripped me off. Tried to sneak in an overcharge by sending me a receipt 10days after my rental that charged me for 2 days when I rented 1. Also charged me for extra insurance that wasn’t on my contract. And charged me $6 for gas when I returned it with MORE gas than was necessary. Most people wouldn’t even notice I bet. What should’ve cost me $50 cost me $115

The truck we received was in bad shape. The air conditioning would go out every time we went up an incline or had to speed up. The shocks appear to be bad because it bounced terribly when we went over a bridge or bumps in the road. There was a cracked/broken mirror on the passenger side. The counter worker was really nice. He had us in and out pretty quickly. The reason I wouldn't recommend this location is because of the condition of the truck, not the service.

It was okay… check in was fine. The actual uhaul staff for scheduling in Alabama was awful. If I could rate her 1 star I would. Please call me if you want more info on the bad review. The Alabama scheduler deserved all of it. The gentleman at cube smart was fine.

There was a piece of a window blind left in cargo area and couple items left inside the truck indicating it wasn’t cleaned. The lady inside was nice and very helpful assisting me with reporting new damage noticed on truck.

Truck was very old and worn out. Check engine light is on, door does not close properly. Key sticks in ignition. Replace this vehicle. Staff at site was very helpful and friendly though!

Fix all of the stuff on the uhaul website and app that doesn't work most of the time. Constantly having to work around or through horrible uhaul software makes the rental experience extremely frustrating. No complaints about the equipment or rental location.

I tried to rent a one way move from Memphis Tennessee to Huntsville Alabama unfortunately they claim not too have any so I had to reserve a truck from Huntsville drive it to Memphis Tennessee and back to Huntsville witch coast me more money a lot more money and then the air stopped working and the battery lite was on and beeping and I even turned the truck in a day earlier it still was 540.00 dollars plus gas but the frustration was when I arrived in Memphis I passed a u haul and I counted over 55 trucks on this lot of all sizees I was was very upset to say the least and I informed the agent about the truck issues and I was informed that they would take the truck out of circulation and get it checked out

Was charged for fuel when I returned the vehicle with more fuel than was in it at pickup. Recommend going back to picking up vehicle with a full tank and returning vehicle with a full tank. Tire sidewall had a large slice in it that you could actually peel back and see the tire body cords.

The office was unmanned on Saturday morning at 11:15 a.m., a prime time for self-movers. There was no instruction for leaving the returned truck, no confirmation of the return of the truck, and no confirmation of final charges. It makes the entire rental experience problematic.
