There were no personnel, and I wasn't clear that would be the case in advance. U-haul did a great job sending reference materials in advance of the rental, which prepared me for handling it solo.

TODD CIt's pretty lame to include in the truck a dolly and blankets that weren't asked for, then charge you for using them if you "break the plastic seal". The dolly in particular was in the way of packing and prevented the full utilization of the available room. I didn't need it but I removed it, so I got charged. It feels like getting nickeled and dimed. Other than that, the overall experience was pretty good.
COREY PNothing to improve. The equipment was clean and in good condition. The agent was friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. Checkout and check-in were both smooth.

ANTHONY UNo one was there, only a sign on the door stating they were "running errands", no return time, and NO HELP unhooking the trailer, pulling it to a parking spot, or backing in the 20' moving van. HATE HAVING TO RETURN ON AN AP. Completely inconvenient after a 30-hour moving trip and a 6-hour unloading. People need help; it was exhausting returning with a picture of every inch of the rentals. Terrible. Where is the customer service these days? At both ends, U-Haul dropped the ball. Visit your sites, meet with the owners/managers, set standards...I don't know, give rewards or something. I paid over $3,000 to rent U-Haul products and had no customer service.
