TAL CLittle signage, packed lot, the attendant was short with answers.
JACK BThe pickup location was in effect the convenience store of a gas station. The attention of the attendant is divided between customers of UHaul, and of the gas station; he was doing neither very well. Beyond providing the keys to the truck, he really didn't do much. I had questions, but he really wasn't able to answer them, and just wanted me gone so that he can serve his next customer. So, I find this pick-up location less than ideal.
Mimi NVery busy, high traffic area, nothing they can do about that. Also no bathroom, but while I was in the store for 10 minutes, 15 people wanted a bathroom, it would be never ending to maintain it and keep it clean. A tough situation.

JUSTIN WThis location is good, but the guys over there try to scam you by saying the previous damage is done by you. Then, when you stand on your ground and ask them to check the images u took before first they act they don't care, then ask for fuel money :)

JANICE JBeing charged extra for 100 mile when my trip was 66 miles total. Also being charged for damage I did not do and no evidence it was not there before. I will never rent from U-Haul again ESPECIALLY that location. I will be going to the better business bureau about this and posting anywhere I can on social media. This is extortion and unfair.

Jose MTerrible location. I rented a truck and a tow dolly. When I got to the 597 Luis Munoz Marin Blvd location in Jersey City at around 3 PM the U-Haul person there was very rude and lack kindness. The two dolly wheels were strapped incorrectly at the Worcester location (by a U-Haul) employee. When I was at the Jersey U-Haul I tried for more than an hour to unstrap the wheels and when I asked for guidance or help the person there only told me “That is not my job” and kept repeating that “It is very easy”. I hurt my hands trying to figure it out how to unstrap the wheels, the gentlemen at the gas station helped me. I spent more than an hour trying to unstrap the wheels and there was no support from the U-Haul person. I want to point out he was on its own. The location was shorted staff and there were customers waiting. I would like my money for the tow dolly to refund in exchange for the damages. My arms and hands are sored and there was a total lack of empathy at the jersey location.

Jeffrey EEverything was so smooth - we picked up the U Haul with all the equipment we had asked for in under 5mins (we even got the option to get a bigger truck for the same price)! The staff were super friendly and helpful. The return was equally smooth - just handed the keys back and got an email confirmation within seconds. Highly recommend this location, it helped make a highly stressful day a little less stressful!
KEA BPick up location was great. U-Haul is a total scam. Quoted prices are highly different than charges and hidden fees. Will make sure no one I know ever used U-Haul again.

JONATHAN TExcellent and knowledgeable administrators. The rental and return process were very pleasant and fast. I felt confident that the vehicle was well taken care of and that the paperwork was done without any mistakes that could cause surprise bills.

However, the drop off was horrible as another guy during the night time (not the one at pick up) tried to hustle me for another 10 dollars for gas even though i returned the van with the same amount gas it came with (at half). He was nagging me the whole time and so I gave him a few bucks which im sure he kept for himself.

Fenton TI expected to have a 20 foot truck never got it; no phone call about not being at that location. I had to make multiple trips because of it. And be charged 100 miles on hold and have to wait 3-5 business days to get my money back. Very poor job.
RAMIR GSince it was our first time renting a car in UHaul, we were not familiar with many of the procedures. However, the front desk staff were particularly impatient and had a poor attitude, which was a very bad experience. They even charged us an extra ten dollars. At first, we thought it was for the mileage fee, but later the bill was sent and charged again

PAUL SThe location is also a gas station. I drove 22 miles in the U-Haul. They charged me $10 for gas up on return. It should have been about 1.5 gallons of gas, which at about $3.20/gal at the time was way over priced.

WESLEY A1. The vehicle was in a pathetic driving condition. 2. The ignition key kept getting stuck in the car. 3. The vehicle was not clean when provided. 4. There was barely any gas in the vehicle when it was handed over. 5. I was overcharged for the gas (had to pay for 1.5 gallons of gas while I drove only 7 miles)
ASHISH SIt was easy and affordable - two things I value highly. And the staff were courteous, friendly and helpful! The only improvement I can think of is a rearview video camera on trucks. I rented a U-Haul 10-ft truck in New Paltz, NY and it came with it. It make backing out of a parking lot much easier. Thank you for doing a great job!

MARINA LFirst of all, be honest and ethical once a reservation takes place. It should be only one reservation rather than two or more, to squeeze the customer's account. In my case, my account is my early retirement money. Respect the terms and conditions of the contract agreement, especially if you have provided discounts, you should honor them. If the corporate office says that the manager should provided instructions on where to return the truck, he should do that, he did not. If U-Haul agreed to deliver the truck at $85/day (instead of the van ) on 10/29 at 6:45 PM, you should have done so, you did not, and the manager states that he had no reservation. But he had two reservations when the reservation could have been edited by date and time. The whole ordeal seems to be a personal matter, with added information manipulation to sabotage the customer timeline. And you are liable for this. The receiving manager, however, acted quite professional otherwise and had a very good public relations attitude as opposed to the rather conflicting and greedy delivery manager. You should credit money for the excess level of gas returned. I request a $20 credit for excess of gas. A $36 credit for lack of van availability as in the original reservation. a 13 mile credit resulting for lack of information not provided by the delivery manager when providing the truck. A prorated rate for the 5 extra hours used. The final receipt did not honor the 34 free miles.
Anthony NI had this reservation for about a few weeks. I get there 10 mins before my reservation time of 11 am and I’m told no u-hauls areavailable and I need to wait. I had to wait 40 mins. The people are rude there. I have rent a few u hauls in the past few months and the people there have no personality. I will think twice before going back there.
