My afternoon started at Uhaul on SE 14th, I will NOT rent or go to that location Again. The customer service is less than adequate there and neither of the gals behind the counter gave two hoots if I was there to spend money or not. One appeared to be strung out. Dale Wright Tire and Auto TOP NOTCH!! These folks were friendly, and had me out the door with what I needed in minuets! I will go to them for ALL my Uhaul needs even though I live on the South Side.HOWARD L.
I need the truck because of an unforeseen problem. When I received my receipt by email it showed 2 transactions but my bank showed 3. Tried to call but no answer. Went to the store but already closed. That was almost 40 bucks that I was going to use this weekend with my family. Will never recommend U-HaulChris C.

The customer service I received was very poor indeed because of such experienced will not refer anyone . The the and the guy who work at particular location threw my shirt in the trash that we left in the uhaul. I forgot about it and return retrieve my property it found in the dumpster . At first when I approached the lady half an hour after I dropped the truck me that she didn't get or find my item. Uhaul services should include at a lost and find item for a day because ppl forget about things but trash it immediately one come across these item that are behind in your propertyNATHAN B.

I had no contact with anyone at this location as I was assigned to return the truck here. Unfortunately, the lot was small and many other trucks were already there making it difficult to park the 26' truck I had rented without blocking the building.Crystal B.

We returned our equipment the morning after rental. then we got a message that they didn't receive it Saturday. making us rush down to take pictures that it was in their lot. extra stress is not a good thing. We had reserved this trailer to be dropped off in Huxley, Iowa-since we were towing with an RV. Was contacted by uhaul less than 24 hours after pickup and while on road-that drop off was changed to this location-25 miles from Huxley. Also this location was impossible to drop off while towed with RV-so had to borrow truck to return trailer-was extremely frustrating. Uhaul knee we were towing with RV-and this location would not work! Requested a call from supervisor about this-but never heard from anyone. We will be renting a trailer for return to Florida in 2 weeks with RV-very concerned about pick up and drop off availability with RV!Dean P.

I went to the Windsor Heights location because it showed open an I live close. No one was there I called the number and no answer no call back. This forced me to have to drive across town to the other location and purchase more milage due to the distance different. The Dale's tire location not only answered their phone but had a truck ready and waiting. The woman on the phone was helpful and seemed to understand I was on a schedule. The woman at the counter was fast and professional. I would highly recommend this location to anyone. The first location looked like a dump and apparently does not want business. see my comments above. You charged me extra miles when you said you wouldn't. Also, the tank was not full when we got it and we filled it because, really who can stop the gas at exactly where it was when we picked it up. Maybe you should refund that amount at $3.50 per gallon. Drop off place Closed due to power outage from a storm that morning. I hit rain on the way to Des Moines and when i arrived to unload, the items i packed in the front of the trailer were wet and water was visible on the floor. Luckily it was new furniture will packed in the cardboard and hadn't soaked through to the furniture yet. Trailer was very easy to pull and followed like a dream tho.Scott L.

Reaching them by phone was tricky. I'm not sure that it isn't an internal issue regarding contact info in Uhaul's data base. But once I actually talked to a person, they were very helpful and polite.Jacob J.

Auto transport at location on 63rd street after having reservations for 3 weeks had no trailer available cause one was late coming back 3 hours told me I had to talk to manager who was on lot with customer. After 2 hours of waiting another representative said mamager hadn't been in that day. I had to leave my vehicle at a friends till I can cone back and rent another truck and auto hauler. Costing me flight and rental plus fuel that I wouldn't have had to pay. So pissed off and should get free auto transport rental when I return back to get car. My opinion as customer but probably won't get a answer.ROBERT M.

Truck and location was great. Easy to find everything I needed, the only downside was retrieving the key from the lockbox, which I understand my struggle is probably unique to most customers. Box number 1 was a little difficult to use. Mainly because of my height (I'm 5'2). I had to stand on my tippy toes to put in the code, and that also made the angle difficult for me to get the lock undone. It took me over 15 minutes to just get the lock off.Kelsi W.
