Charged me 100! For a 39$ truck
DANIEL MTruck back door was open and it appeared someone had slept in it the night before. It was raining and the truck was parked in a lot that had gravel, but so far back that we had to walk through mud tracks to get into the truck.

MARY AFirst of all - my first location was different and by some reason keys were not ready for pickup, so we were calling support and only after that we got to this location. Second - truck wasn't too dirty, but we found a blanket and a bottle with yellow liquid in cargo area, probably some homeless person was sleeping there. Corresponding odor was there of course. We were forced to spend time on cleaning cargo area with power washer instead of loading. This is not the first time when UHaul truck cargo area is not ready, it's a bad sign and compensation (discount) would be great for that.

CORY HThe auto transport was beet up the decals were all fated and wires hanging on back I think that particular unit needs a lot of TLC or maybe replace!!! But over all was good!!
RICHAR SPacked parking lot.. not really clear where to park.. not really welcoming to customers who are maybe less familiar with this location and the proper "drop off" processes.

ROGER SThe storage area wasn't air conditioned and I had to move in 87 degrees. I was forced to buy a lock even though I already had one on the uhaul trailer to use for the storage. The computers were very slow and I had to wait 45 minutes to get checked in.
JENI LThe location was fine. The truck itself had a horrible cow manure smell.

Brian PThe furniture pads and dolly that were part of the reservation were not in the truck at pickup. Because it was a 24/7 rental, the location was not opened and I had to obtain the pads at a different location. They did not have a dolly to rent.

dale kThe process was very confusing. and It don't think you give us enough milage to get to locations, you have to think about how wide Des Moines is. Definitely would not use the self service uhaul again.

Melanie OHave packing material that I had previously purchased at the location. I had to go to a second location to pick up 2 queen size mattress covers. The second location did not have parking for the trailer I was towing. If I had known that ahead of time, I would have at least picked that up first.

Malcolm PThis was the third location for my reservation. Drove to the first one, was told it had moved. Drove to the second location, was told it had been moved. Third location did have the trailer I requested. I was not happy about the wild goose chase I seemed to be on to locate my reservation.

BRIAN SFirst trailer that I hooked up to one of the turn signal didn’t work. Second trailer I took out to the site rollup door did not operate smoothly. Third trailer was a good quality and worked fine. The personnel were polite & helpful, but the equipment needed more attention.

Patricia GDid NOT receive requested furniture pads, but was still charged for them Will never use U-haul ever again and will become U-haul's absolute worst negative advertising nightmare until I get the reimbursed funds that were wrongly and illegally taken from my bank account! Calling my attorney right now to see about starting a class action against U-haul for all illegally charged accounts
Tyler BThis location was more of an auto repair shop than a Uhaul rental place. When I dropped the truck off the rep told me to just leave it and they'd check it in later and send me a receipt via email. When I received the receipt I found out that they charged me $7.50 for gas. I was told at the time of pick up in Moline and on my contract that I needed to return the truck with only 1/4 of a tank of gas and when I returned it the gas gauge indicated that it was slightly more than 1/4 full. I should not have been charged any additional amount for gas and especially since the rep wouldn't even get up out of her chair to check the gas gauge, mileage, truck condition, etc while I was there in person and after all the BS I had to go through at the time of pick up and the fact that I had to take a 10' truck rather than a 15' truck and not be able to move everything that I had originally intended to. This was a bad experience at the start and finish. As a result, Uhaul will no longer be my first choice when it comes to renting a truck or trailer.

Fred CI was not able to get the truck inspected to make certain there were no issues wheb I dropped it off. It was the next day, today, before I got the results of their inspection. Personnel said they had to disinfect the trucki before they could check it out.

William SWas given the wrong keys in the lock box to a smaller truck and the work I had planned was not done as I had large items to move. The truck was on empty and was obviously not ready to rent. I guess I will have to use Penske next month.

Charles CThe Uhaul on Douglas Employees were accommodating but understaffed, truck was old & beat up, the reservation we made was not recorded for the right day. The Uhaul on Euclid was better staffed & friendlier.

Rene OThe employees were over the top wonderful, friendly and helpful! The equipment was old and straps were not safe. During our 4 hour trip, we had to stop every 60 minutes to tighten them. We checked them after 45 minutes and the left side was completely lose. Very disappointed with the equipment.
