ADAM WD&H Auto does not represent the Uhaul brand well. I had a very busy day and arrived quite early in hopes that I could pick up my truck using the mobile app. When I arrived I noticed staff in the office and that they opened an hour prior to my reservation. I waited a few minutes and noticed someone else enter the office so I went in. I was promptly greeted with. ‘We’re not open yet’. I said ok and asked if it was possible to use the mobile app to get my truck. Response ‘You reserved for 9:00, right?’ I replied ‘yes’ and received the following: ‘We’re here to take care of all the trucks retuned last night - need to make sure there are no dead bodies in them.’ I said ‘ok but do i in need to wait until 9:00?’ ‘Yup, maybe you could go to church of something”. I left and came back about 8:35 and watched someone else get their truck and leave. I waited until my allotted time and received my truck. Everything else went smoothy from there - nice new truck, clean and good for the job - exactly what I expect from Uhaul. I don’t expect special treatment, but I do expect common decency and respect. I was greeted with neither of those by your agent. Creepy jokes about dead bodies is poor taste, however, assuming someone’s religious beliefs is flat out offensive. JONATHAN POffer a checklist upon picking up the vehicle. 1. How to open/close loading door. 2. Gas tank location and fuel type 3. Offer a walk around the vehicle to check condition. 4. Check mirror positions. Some questions I asked and Phil answered for me….
MAUREEN COnline service was perfect, team was very helpful and provided very clear instructions. I will rent from this location again.
JEFFREY PRnted a 5x9 utility trailer. At pickup they processed payment quickly and helped us to attach the trailer to the tow vehicle. On return, even though they were already closed, they did the same. Very helpful and friendly.

DANIEL RI was redirected a day or two before my rental to a different location to pick up the truck, in Highland, Michigan. Highland is about 45 minutes from my home. When I got there for my 8:00am pickup, they were closed and would not open until 10:00am. I had labor lined up to start loading at 8am. I called the main office where they told me they could get me a truck at the original location in Brighton. So, I wound up driving for an hour and a half (round trip) for nothing. It was very frustrating and stressful.

Chelsea MPhil at D&H Auto and all the staff at D&H Auto was excellent ! By far! However, when I called a number, for the first time, from the U-Haul website, thinking I was calling D&H Auto, I was directed to what seemed a U-Haul representative. I believe I received a text asking me if I received all the assistance needed by a person by the name of Hector. Hector was pushy, somewhat arrogant and attempted to hard-close me by insisting I give my CC number. Not what I expected, was turned off by the experience, and then started to wonder how much more money U-Haul was going to "nickel and dime" me for my rental. This all went away after Phil at D&H Auto kindly contacted me later in the day and then the rental went perfect the next day. But the initial contact with U-Haul left a 'bad-taste' in my mouth. You need to dial it back versus the hard close technique.

JOHN CThe app for early pickup could be improved. It took almost a half hour to get underway. The app does not allow your phone camera to focus and response from the Call Center was slow. There were a couple of things that could have been done prior to arrival as well (upload photo of drivers license, agree to terms and conditions, credit card info, etc).
