The Foley and chair pads that they put in the truck (in case you need them and want to cut the green cord) are in the way and take up too much space.

D & H has very nice competent people. I always seem to get there at a busy time and because they Tae thier rime with each customer, it can be a wait. I am going to try them for auto repair, as they seem like honest folks.

Once again, sadly, not a pleasant U-Haul experience. The truck would shake when driving on the freeway, had to keep the speed at 50 mph while driving on the roads. It was raining the two days that I moved using the truck. The truck leaked rain water all over my furniture and boxes in the back, and it also leaked in the cab, getting me wet, as I was driving. Nice. Never again U-Haul! I will pay the extra $ for another truck rental company. Apparently, you have to pay more for a safe and dry rental truck.

Uhaul on the other hand were a bunch of inept dullards. I was at location for an hour and a half because customer service cannot put 2 and 2 together. I reserved the truck with my brother as the primary because i had my sons last football game. "the genius at the other end of chat decided my brother didnt pick it up because the name on the account and the name on the contract were different" so i had to go to location missing my sons football game and go back and forth with your winning teams for an hour until it was suggested to "go into my account and change the name of the contract to the name on the order then i can approve it" my thought was what is the point of adding a primary driver?! until the moron on the other end of the chat decided, why not just have the primary driver send his info and that will work, which is what my brother did when he got there to pick up the truck that wasn't sufficient. so comments, thank you for making me miss my sons last football game, thank you for making us 2 hours late with the truck to which we also had moving help and thank you for making us be out moving until 10pm in 38 degrees. I have rented several trucks from D & H and never had a problem they are awesome, and I assume this "survey" is to hold D & H accountable, but how does D & H hold u haul accountable? because it is u haul who has me contemplating not using it again. on top of it, if i bring the truck back late i pay extra right? so do you pay extra when i get it late? this was an unbelievably disappointing experience the worst customer service ive had in a long time. also the local rep whom i assume is on call, decided not to return calls. PS i do not want an apology, i want answers for being held hostage

Self pick is a nightmare, at pick and drop I went through the online steps multiple times. I had to call and wait on hold for customers service to resolve the problem tat both pick up and drop of. Throughout my move I have hold causing me to need the truck longer. So I call to extend my time period. I called numerous time and waited and waited on hold, I probably waited near a hour combined. Customer service seems janky. Then I get my bill, even though the last thing I did was replace the gas, they report my gas low and charge me for the small amount. My bill looks almost twice as much as I expect, BUT when I called just a moment ago, I get put on hold. I would like my bills resolved but I do not have time to wait on hold over and over for long time period. I am happy with my uhaul overall experience.

it was a short move 45 miles but we had to bring the uhaul back to where we rented from so had to pay for 45 extra mile or $27--wish we could have dropped it off at the town we moved furniture to. I received great service at this location I liked the convience of dropping key in night box and that my bill was adjusted (used less miles) without another visit to store
