This has nothing to do with the location or staff, everyone at this location is very helpful and i had a great experience with them very professional. The only thing that was not good was the app. It kept crashing and it was very frustrating to use, i had to end up having the people at the location help me with the check in process. Something needs to be done to the app to make it better and more stable. If the location was closed and I was only to rely on the app I would not have been able to pickup the truck. Again all staff at this location were great and very helpful.Joshua S.

The Brighton location was closed when we dropped off trailer but there was parking available to park. We were not able to do a check-in with a person, but we did catch a guy walking out at 7:30pm even though they closed at 6pm, and he said it should all be OK. Check-in document was sent to my email the next morning at 8am.David R.

The U Haul App told me to scan a bar code, but it did not exist at this location. As a result we had to take the key on a second trip, and worse yet we got a message that the truck could not be parked there without the key present. This was a very frustrating end to an otherwise very good experience.Andrew B.

The app was acting up and I wasn't able to get the vehicle when I wanted to it took me 40 minutes to use the app to pick that vehicle up which ate into my time. The air conditioning did not work. That is a basic need for a truck. When I went to return the truck on time the app didn't work at all. I had to call the person on the phone at U-Haul told me to just take a picture of it and everything's cool. The next day I get a $49 charge for cleaning I think it was mileage and cleaning a cleaning fee on a moving van they claim there was some kind of dust or something in there. I sat in that truck and drove it for no more than a total of 45 minutes 20 miles each way. It's a scam the cleaning is a scam it's just an easy way to get $25 out of a customer I am dissatisfied I was overcharged the people on the phone that I talked to were rude to me it was a horrible experience as far as I'm concerned. And I don't usually complain about things. The very least I think the $25 should be returned to me and I had a truck with no air conditioning I should only have to pay half. Not happy at all and anybody who asks me to tell him to call somebody else because they're going to charge you the next day for something Petty. I rented vehicles for 20 years all over the United States I travel for work there are times when I've returned of rental vehicle like a Lexus or something with crumbs on the seats and just dirty as hell they don't charge you anything and those are nice this is a beat up moving van and you charge me $25 to clean you take a step outside of you guys U-Haul verse and realize that that is just ridiculous you wanted to review you got one terribleMichael C.

Owner?/manager? The person I dealt with was very helpful and definitely went out of his way to assist us with everything. I have rented a lot of equipment over the past 40 years and csn Jones you say this man (forgot his name) was hands down the best interface I have ever had and should be the mark the others strive to meet. Equipment was clean. Brake on trailer maybe stuck. The trailer was difficult to backup. I noticed the tire tire scrubbing (not turing). I mentioned it to attendeent. Trailer may need some maintenance. I also got about 10 miles per gallon. Same MPG I get towing 24 Foot steel trailer with 3500 pounds of equipment. My guess is your trailer is acting heavier than it is.DOUG S.
