Location was perfect- tried to call the 800 number though, 4-5 times on Friday to see if I could change the drop off location. Multiple times got hung up on, never got transferred to anyone who could help, usually couldn't even get to a human before getting an error â€œwe are experience a problemâ€Michael V.
Was told when we made the reservation that we had 4 days to return truck. After picking uo truck haul sent an email telling me the truck was to be returned on the day we were driving. When I called customer service spoke with a very rude lady that told me I would have to pay for 2 additional days. Transferred me to another lady who said she corrected the problem and would send me new authorization which she never did. Local rep finally got it fixed. Local rental people are great, customer service people SUCK.MICHAEL S.
I do have a comment about the original drop off location in Lakeside Az. About 45 minutes after I picked up the trailer in Tucson, I got a text and call from the Lakeside office saying I was "required" to take the trailer to Taylor AZ, about 40 miles west of Lakeside. I was shuffled around to 3 different managers, most of whom had nothing to do with the Lakeside office and had no information. The Lakeside manager insisted that his lot was full, as were the other 5 locations nearby, and I would have to drive an additional 80 miles (Taylor and back) to drop off. I asked about locations in Springerville and he insisted they were full too, but he couldn't access their information. I finally told him to change the dropoff location to Springerville and somehow he was able to do that. If the Lakeside lot was truly full (which it wasn't when I drove by) he should have one of his employees deliver the trailer, not one of the customers. FYI, so far this is the only complaint I've had with UHaul, we'll see how it goes in a couple of weeks when I need a 15' truck.Kenneth C.
