A guy came out and took the keys because he said they were closing and we didn't get a chance to do the self service return we were supposed to do. I had to go back that night after getting a notice from U-Haul and sit in the parking lot next to the locked truck to do everything. If I hadn't taken pictures before leaving I don't know what we would have done.

I have used David's Automotive on numerous occasions for U-Haul, however this experience was not good for me. The pick-up was very simple since everything is done via email/text messages. The return of the rental turned out not so good. I was told Mark would be the person to check the van back in after he returns from getting gas. I never received an email saying the truck was returned. I called David's Automotive to question the receipt at which Jeff abruptly said call U-haul. I called U-haul and found out the truck was NEVER checked in. I called to make sure David's Automotive checked in the truck. I spoke with Jeff (again)) and was told in a very rude tone "all the trucks have been checked in and I don't know what else you want me to do" and went as far as to hang up the phone while I was talking. I then called U-haul customer service to speak with a person on what I should do, but ended up chatting with someone only to find out the truck had finally been checked in. David's Automotive finally checked in the vehicle at 9:01 am the next day. My emotions were all over the place thinking what happened to the van is I feeling I NEVER want to feel again. David's Automotive (Jeff) was not helpful or sympathetic to my request and rude which is why I will NEVER use them again. I'm very sorry, if my words are all over the place but I'm still very upset about their behavior.

You guys are a fucking rip off. I paid for going from Prosper to Rockwall and you advertised a discount to drop it off at a closer location for y'all. Then you charge me another 83.00 for additional miles I didn't use. You guys are a fucking scam. I've used yall many times and didn't realize your this kind of company. I'll let social media and everyone I know about this scam. Reporting to better business bureau also.

Business not readily visible and tough to find. CDW of $10 on a pickup truck rental was never explained. Despite calling to inquire about drop off of vehicle 30 minutes after their closing hours, I was only told that the key won't fit in the drop off box, so to slide it through the door, but no such instructions were given for me to self check out, which would've helped me avoid $20 after hours convenience fee, which really is a poor customer service. I don't own a truck, so I was looking forward to renting the truck frequently from Uhaul in doing the yard work, but I am now very discouraged to do so with this level of poor customer service. Yes, I understand it was written in the receipt, but a simple 10 second mentioning would've earned me as your cusutomer for life instead.

When going into the David's automotive business to pick up the truck I was hit with a $40 something $ charge for insurance that he said I must have. I told him that neither of the 2 locations that quoted me the price EVER mention this charge. I then asked if I could use own automobile insurance & he said that it would cover it. $40 something $ on the day of pick up unexpectedly was a deal to me because my move was 5hrs. away & ALREADY costly.

Truck was dirty like soda stains everywhere nasty! Smelled bad! Truck made screeching noise all the way. I didn't feel safe but movers had already loaded the truck. Thank God I made it! Never again from this place!!

My only issue is that the cab of the truck had an overwhelming smell of smoke (it smelled like CBD vape). We notified the guy at the front desk because we had forgot the dollies that we had requested. He indicated that they were aware. It was so strong that it gave me a headache. Our drive was estimated at 40 minutes but it took longer because of traffic. It was just awful. Other than this it was over all good. Easy to reserve, easy to pick up, easy to drop off. Thank you.

I called into customer service and talked to a customer service representative and the guy was extremely unprofessional and rude. I would not recommend your service to another just based off this interaction. My recommendation is focus on the customer experience and train your employees to value each customer interaction.

I feel like I was ripped off in my rental. While the truck itself was in good working condition. The mileage and gas on the contract was incorrect. I did use the app to log my trip thinking it would correct it and it did not. I put in the amount of gas I used and was still charged $35 for gas. If we use the app and people are not going to go to the vehicle to verify information prior to putting information on the contract the pictures we take should be good enough. In traveling less than 20 miles, there is no way I used 10 gallons of gas. The three I put in prior to returning and the 7 I was charged for. Improvements in the area of customer service and verifying accuracy can be made.

The staff were friendly and efficient. The truck was ready They didn't have the full range of U Haul products like TV packages but I did have the opportunity to ask beforehand as my pick up location was changed due to the availability of the correct sized truck .

I returned the vehicle at 2:55pm and left the keys on the table in the office as told when I picked it up. They have shown the return time as 3:45 and charged me an extra day rental. I'm disgusted at this. I haven't spoke to the location yet but I will first thing.

We're not nice. Told me to put on a mask when I entered while they weren't wearing a mask. Removed my furniture dolly rental from the reservation and didn't tell me. Found charges for safe move that I didn't request and charges for gas after I returned it how I found it.

Gave me a truck with holes in the roof, bald front driver tire also had side wall damage, needed an oil change, steering column off center made it difficult to drive next to semis. The list goes on an on. This truck was not highway ready and should have not been rented out.

I picked up the vehicle and the floorboards were covered in dried mud, and then when I dropped it off it had the same gas level as when I picked it up and they lied and marked it as less gas and charged me.

Network Down, wasn't able to check out with staff I had to call CS and my experience wasn't pleasant either with CS, he kept assuming I needed a smaller vehicle, he based it on where I'm moving, I had to take multiple trips and he had told me it would be .25 cents for additional mileage, instead I was charged for .79 which is a huge difference in price range, what I was quoted wasn't honored, very unsatisfied with my experience today, I will make sure to hand this over to BBB and google reviews.

Would tell customer not to drop key in drop box until truck return has been completed. Was unable to process return because we were not aware that we needed mileage and other info out of truck before we could do truck return online. Just another way for Uhaul to make another 20 or so dollars from customers - very poor customer service and will not be doing business with them again for their shady business practices.
