I waited (along with other customers) for the employee(s) to arrive and open the facility and start the process of renting. Not sure the official open time for a Saturday morning but surprised it's not 8am. I did speak to them the day before to confirm and they said 10:15/10:30. I arrived at 10:15 but they didn't show until 10:45. Once arrived they started the 'computer/paperwork but that process took another 1/2 hour. I would rent there again simply because of location but that overall rental pickup process, compared to many other times I've rented at U-Haul facilities was below standard.

The reserved vehicle was present, and the key was in the lock box, but the system did not recognize it. I had to wait two hours to pick up the vehicle, despite calling the help line. After two hours and a second call to the help line, the issue was finally resolved. The help line staff did an excellent job. I was promised a $50 missed appointment guarantee, but it was never applied.

STEPHANIE LNot a fan of self check in. Finally received a text from them. Was billed twice and told I would get a call back from some authority that day. I called a week later and was told it was fuel charges. Math didn’t come close !! And bill states rent… not fuel !! Wish they were more up front.
Walter SI shouldn’t have to pay for the truck, pay for mileage and pay for gas. It should be the mileage or the truck.
SHAWN MWas not a fan of the self check-in app with no customer service person available as I had requested customer check-in when reserving. Loading equipment was not with the truck, had to find alternative resources/equipment. Finally figured out the app but had problems with the lockbox.
