They can't keep track of equipment, took 2 hours to locate and get a trailer. Lucky the business owner was very helpful.jeff G.
The people and location was very shady. The people live in the offices or Viscomm versa.We went through several people and the last one did not know how to use Uhaul's system. It took a half hour and I just about walked out except he had my credit card info and I did not need that battle. Once I got through the paperwork he hooked up the trailer, did not review anything and when I pointed out the damaged fenders he said don't worry about it the black X noted the damage. Seemed strange to me. Never checked the lights which it turns out the back left light was not working properly. All in all very disappointed.John B.

I only give the location a 5* UHAUL has made this move a pain. Drove around for over an hour trying to find the place. Called the number several times. Finally found it and there was no UHAUL and the place was closed. Got a call 30 minutes later from UHAUL telling me that they didn't show a truck where I was supposed to pick it up from. REALLY?! By that time we're already 2 hours past our scheduled pickup and I had found somewhere to get a truck. THEN I had to pay another $60 after my $50 deposit that may be refunded in 5-7 business days. Absolutely disappointed and will let everybody that I know that's moving this month, go to penske.Felicia S.
We pre-booked a truck a week prior to needing it. We received a confirmation the night before from the company but when we went to pick up the truck at the appointed time we were told there were none available. We had to go to another location to pick up the truck and were told there were no blankets available there. So we returned to the first location to get blankets. We were also not given a choice of return location. It was several miles out of the way. We called and changed to a return location closer to the destination. The staff should have paid more attention to our requests.hubert H.

Nothing. Very detailed Instructions were given at the time of trailer pickup. I didn't have any problems. The only improvement to the equipment, would be the the addition of a come-along. Other than that, everything was perfect.Bill H.

It is very difficult to determine where exactly to drop off if doing so after hours. I dropped off during business hours, but no one was there. I called the number posted for another business in the same location and, lucky for me, got it figured out. More conspicuous signs would help; there are several buildings near the storage units/trucks, so it's difficult to know where to go.Jennifer H.

Very shady location. I did not know if I was going to a very sketchy house or a buisness. I'm not sure why I was sent here and not to the actual Uhaul store in town. The truck also did not have cruise control which was a huge inconvenience.Craig R.

My family always uses this location when we need to move locally. It is low cost and they are always very nice and helpful. He actually had me call my insurance to see if a rental truck was covered under my insurance policy. I found out it wasn't. Thank goodness he had me call first before I declined insurance. Make sure that all the location have the same order. I was expecting one size which was the 20 ft and they had me for a 15 ft. Good thing plans had changed and I wasn't going to Iowa because the 15ft was to smallChristina M.

Location was closed at the prescribed reservation time. No answer on either of the two phone numbers listed. Man came out an adjoining business and never even aknowledged his absence. When he was writing up the contract he refused to accept my state issued if, and threatened to cancel my rental if I argued with him. I have no idea why this is a uhaul representative.Michael V.

Reserved a 26 ft truck at 7th and Florida a week ahead. When went to pick up, no truck available. Sent to this location to get a truck. Someone else was paying for the rental but the information was not available to transfer the credit card number to this agent. All information online for this location was accurate. It is a very professional operation in appearance and performance. Online information on Baxter Springs location caused us to waste a trip. Good that we did, as the Daystar folks were fantastic.DUKE D.

I returned the truck at 8:05 AM and learned that the business did not open until 9:00 AM. The manager's son who evidently lives on premises could not locate the manager and requested that I drop the keys in a drop box. I asked that he have the manager call me if there are any problems. I needed to get to work as quickly as possible.charles B.
I want to thank Pat Day of Daystar rentals in Joplin Missouri for his excellent service. Due to a short schedule we were unable to arrive at his location before he closed. We talked on the phone and he said to call before we arrive and he would meet us there. Thankfully he had no other plans late Saturday afternoon and was able to let us rent a truck. We were coming from Illinois and it was a 5 Hour Drive. Ironically through our conversation we had a mutual friend who was recently killed in a traffic accident. He was my mother's best friend and was a friend of Pat's as well. The truck was clean and had plenty of fuel but one headlight was out and there was no windshield washer fluid.sheri W.

We were told we could pick up trailer at 8:00 a.m. No one was there at 8:40 when I arrived. Man arrived shortly after 9:00. One trailer visible outside enclosure (self storage units). Two additional trailers inside. The agent could not get the computer to accept my VISA credit card OR debit card; he called several places, on hold, left voice mail, etc. Finally "started over," requesting all my information again, and was able to get debit card to work. I was on site over an hour to pick up a 4x8 trailer! I still don't understand how this pitiful location was the ONLY Joplin location with a 4x8 trailer!John W.
